It seems that the park is open again and construction works are over so the cache can be enabled again (if the cache conintainer is still there)
There are site works going on in the park and whole area is fenced off, including GZ (it's been like that for a few weeks now), so even if cache was still in place it's not accessible now.
Had a caching afternoon with adam111316 and monkeyatlas. Very warm weather but we managed to survive!
Pretty sure we found GZ after walking all the way around the little lake and cursing the jumpy-ness of our phone GPS systems, had a quick look but found nothing. Was discouraged from other DNFs and decided to move on. Enjoyed the nice park though

Think this may have gone again already. Found the obvious spot and some covering material but nothing underneath. Lovely park though.
I'm passing through the park everyday as I live in the apartment nearby, but sadly couldn't find the cache. I tried 3 times at least and now I think it may be gone, as I'm not the only one logging DNF. Please check if it's still there.
I think it's gone and the cache needs to be remade/looked after/repaired beautiful spot though!
Yeah, not sure as to the veracity of that previous "good" log. Hunted for some time, and i'm with the previous logs that it's probably/possibly missing.
Thanks for bringing us here anyway ... a nice park, and nice wee lake/pond.

Nice spot lots of muggles didn't find it. Will try again short on time in my lunch hour TFTH
I found an empty mint tin on the ground at the GZ which I assume was the cache. Nothing on or in the tin to indicate it was a geocache so left it there. A lovely park to come to though and i wandered around for a while waiting for somebody to move from the bench near the GZ.
Glad bag has a hole and paper is waterlogged. Will try to replace another time.
Nice easy find cheers

I had a full day course nearby today, so got into the city a bit early in the hope of rounding up a few caches . This one was a shortish stroll from where i had to be, and i was greeted by a couple of groups of fitness classes . I was a bit concerned that i might not be able to grab it, but as i neared GZ, i realised that i was out of sight of both groups
A quick find here, as the container was a little exposed ... all good inside. TFTC sno seeker

On a Bruce Springsteen tour of the country. We were staying across the road from this lovely park, so we adventured in the playground for a while, did some tai chi and then the small ones found this cache by themselves with a few hints from the previous caching team.
You little beauty. Easy find with pokerstars. Lovely park with the exception of bush rats.
Had to wait around for the two canoodling muggles to depart. Nice find with Oorsch and Probsty.
last one before the #2000 log . nice place for a rest and for searching a cache. quick and easy find. thanks and greetings from switzerland, drummers2105
In the area on business and took the opportunity to walk through this lovely park to make an easy find.
After nearly 30 years in Perth, I finally visit this gorgeous park. In my days running a supermarket, we came to this area when the markets were near-by.... many apartments there now so I am glad they kept this oasis. A quick find by geofriend megawat60, TFTC sno seeker!
Used to work in this vicinity, way back in the last half of the last century, and really love this park, so glad to see it still in such great condition. Thanks Sno Seeker.
Quick find this morning after leaving urch to her Sunday commitments further north. Lovely and peaceful here this morning. Thanks sno seeker
A very nice Park. We enjoyed this beautiful place while exploring the City. No Muggles nearby. TFTC
Greetings from Japan! I found this cache with Mushin-no-shin on our holiday trip to Australia! Cool water works here! Had to dodge a lot of duck poo though. There was one solitary muggle nearby, but we were just out of view. TFTC!

Went and dropped of my baggage at a nearby apartment/hotel chain where I'm staying tonight as I'm going to Bon Jovi concert .
Though I may as well grab this cache since it was so close [^].
A quick find after my little chat with the mudlarks . A nice new log too looking every so white and fresh [^]
All is good with cache

Out for an evening of caching with The Drovers. Had been meaning to get up and do the ones around Kings Parks one for a while, and tonight was it. Sad to say, this one was a dnf for us. A bridal party were having their wedding photos taken close by, but we still searched as best we could. All we found was a cap that looked like it might have been painted black at some stage, but was pretty munted, like it had been in a fight with a whipper snipper or lawnmower. Hope it wasn't the cache lid. Will be watching this one to see who finds it next. Thanks anyway sno seeker
Easyly found but as I was signing the log a muggler sat down next to me on the bench - preventing me from putting the cache container back in its place...
After five minutes I left and took the container with me - and returned after half an hour to put it back

Ah I love Friday mornings as it's usually my weekly caching run!
Teamed up this morning with The Machman for some cache hunting around the Subiaco and surrounds.
Had to duck into a nearby business to acquire a HD of data before work. This cache was only 500m away so I couldn't just leave it unsigned! Quick find at GZ although the log is particularly damp, only barely was able to get my name on. TFTC.

Got a bit misled by the photos. Had a sit down, turned around and I spotted it. Also got chased by se angry ducks. TFTC!
Found reasonably quickly.

Wonder around cluelessly in the bushes took a second and was in hand tftc ducks followed us around the park
Wow this cache was an adventure.. details to follow..
A great little park, nicely put together, but one item needs more thought. The drains.
On a dark rainy afternoon i needed a smiley for the day and this was the closest cache on the map.
Set off and made the find in the dark ok, and as i was leaving i could hear some of the local birdlife making a racket. Stopped to investigate with the i phone torch and discovered that during the recent heavy rain that a family of ducklings had been washed into the lower lake drain and were trapped !.
What does a cacher do ?
So a strange sight was underway, in full business attire lying on the wet ground, in the rain, fishing for day old ducklings, who did not want to be rescued, under a drain cover in the dark.
Happy to report all 10 ducklings were caught, sometimes inelegently, by the feet or head, and released back to mum, who soon after had collected her brood under her wings by the lake edge.
If future cachers spy the ducklings a report would be welcome.
TFTC from Dazza1 and the duck family.
Gotta give a fav for this one !

The geodaughter had an appointment at PMH today and as such Daz took the opportunity to bag a few caches while in the area. Daz was keen to check out the water wonderland and this park proved to be a real city gem. The cache was spotted within seconds however the presence of 'sunglasses man' meant that it was at least five minutes before the coast was clear. The log is tremendously full and is desperate need of replacement. TFTC.
Found at 1530. Had to take 2 trys at this one because there was a muggle smoking a cigar right at the Gz on our attempt afternoon. A quick find. TFTC.
An easy find, had to practice stealth as muggles nearby reading.
Will need a new log only a few spaces left. Log slightly damp.

A nice find in this park today. Didn't know it was here.
As per previous log, log is damp but managed to scrawl my name in.
Took a few minutes to find as GPS was jumping but good things come to those who wait.

Geocache #446. Found on Sunday, 21st July 2013 at 12:49 PM.
My 345th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. I had decided to trek by foot from my hotel in downtown Perth to Subiaco to attend the West Coast Eagles vs. Sydney Swans match at Pattersons Stadium (and also to pick up a few caches along the way). What an awesome suburban oasis tucked away in the middle of the residential and commercial environment that surrounds it. TFTC sno seeker.
NEEDS MAINTENANCE: the logbook is completely full, could the CO please urgently perform maintenance on this cache.

Wow what a beautiful spot!! Never would have known this park existed of not for the cache!!! Great hide and great cache for our 50th
My first ever cache. Beautiful spot, didn't mind at all that it took me 20 minutes to find the cache. Log is full though.
A quick find this afternoon after several failed attempts over the past six months. The area is looking well manicured at the moment. Believe it or not, I think the council gardeners have helped a cacher out for a change. Cheers
In the area. Blank day on my caching calendar. A bit of spare time. Combine that with a nice find and I'm very happy. Thanks snoseeker.
Caught up with the Geosister on her break from work. Told her theres a cache right near where she works. So I gave her the GPS and let her lead the way. We found it pretty quick and I think she's now hooked on the caching phenomenon.
TFTC!!

Nice quick find this morning but didn't have any paper with me to add to the logbook. Found some space and signed my name. TFTC.
Found @ 15:25!
Arrived in the area and spent a few minutes wandering about trying to get an accurate GPS lock!
Checked out a few hides before taking a nearby seat while a muggle passed and sat by the pond, facing me!
This allowed me to think more carefully about where a cache would be hidden and after a couple of failed looks, I spotted a likely cover in a hide I have seen many of recently!
There is no need to go on the mulch or in any bushes!
Log is full, although you may be able to find a space or two inside. May be a good idea for the next finders to bring some paper...

Was pretty visible, hid a little more but as per previous entry unsure if its the right spot and needs new log tftc
Found this one on the ground in plain view. Plenty of lunchtime muggles around, but I managed to quickly make it a rough hide around GZ. Needs checking back into a more secure home, & a log replacement.
So many changes to this area and the park over the years but nice to return and visit very happy memories of times past. A fav from me.

We could not find this one and left before we would have wished as some muggles decided to sit on the nearby bench. Came back a while later and a muggle was on the telephone on the same bench.
