There it was. Still intact. Put an extra rock over it to protect it from the weather. Crappy rest area though complete with trashed car! TFTC!
Found today on our way along the Tanami toward Wolfe Creek Crater and then down the Canning. Our trip down the Canning has been in the planning stage for about a year now and still hasn't sunk in that it now is only a few days away. We are very excited to be travelling these roads.
Thanks redcenterdazza and mamedina for placing this cache.

Found while travelling on the Tanami track today.
This was a nice clean rest area and it was about time to stop for the night so we decided to camp here.

Today we explored Haasts Bluff, Papunya and Mount Liebig, returning via Tanami Road and back to Alice Springs using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. This was a 750 Km round trip, a big day but collecting 9 caches on the way, thats 83 Kms per cache! We enjoyed the outback experience/trek following the West MacDonnell Ranges both ways. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

It was lunchtime, so a great place to stop and have something to eat and grab the cache at the same time.
Found whilst tripping up the Tanami for a work field trip. A nice quick find and a really good place for a quick break. TFTC
This cache was found quickly and easily as the co-ordinates were good and it was easily spotted. The log was duly signed and the replaced. All was put back where it had been found and our journey continued. Thank you to redcenterdazza for placing this cache.
Catching up on old logs.
We were glad of the trees lining the lay-by and shielding us from the road as we took a 5 minute rest stop and found the cache. TNLN. Cheers.

Didn't really expect to find a rest area out here - well not one so purposefully built [B)]. Maybe we're not so remote after all (well, the road is still asphalt ) .
Only stopped here for about 10 minutes or so, but there was more passing traffic in that time than we saw for the next couple of days .
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Redcenterdazza and mamedina.

#2026 - Found by B at the end of a sunny day. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour via the highest peak in each State and mainland Territory. The hide location is a bit grotty. Camped here tonight and upon our return of few days later. The site is visited by local groups refilling their cars with water from the tank here. There is a covered picnic table and rubbish bin. Many thanks to the cache owner redcenterdazza for establishing and maintaining this cache.
Dropped in a travel bug.

First of our two day trip on the Tanami Road towards Western Australia. Thanks for this one!
Easy find at the start of our adventure. Dropped 2x TB to start their journey too.
Found with Joter at the end of a great trip. We were logging our find when a voice said, "Hi there, is everything ok?" We looked around in surprise to find two policemen checking that we weren't stranded! We also collected a travel bug that wasn't logged into this cache, but one in the Flinders Ranges. Clever little fish to swim that far! Thanks for a memorable cache.
TFTC, took trackable to join others doing a cross country trip. There are no Geocaches on the Gary Junction Road and since it is not possible to establish new Vertual Caches for the trackables going on this trip with us, we are showing all the spots they visit between here and Port Headland and will establish Waymarking locations.

Nice easy find on the way back to Alice springs from 21 days working in the desert ,heading home to Hervey Bay QLD SLTNLN ,TFTC
Last one we did on the way across the Tanami. We had to get a move on and get through to Townsville so caching lost out.. Plenty of rain through here yesterday with the carpark having big puddles. Could have done with some further up the road to flatten out some of the corrugations.

It was a big surprise to see us being the FTF again!! We thought the other cachers might already found it, same at Tanami Lookout. We were very pleased to be the first to find it twice this morning! Took an emblem...thanks redcentrerazza and mamedina for another FTF for us.
