Logs
Got very wet feet hunting this morning, but I did find a page from the log book in the playground.
I found some of the log book pages from 2012 around the reserve so I think it may have been damaged or moved by a muggle.
[@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I had a nice morning inside at home today, but in the afternoon, we headed out to Sturt Gorge Recreation Park and targeted Magpie Gully. It was an older multi-cache that was on my target list, and also appeared to be a nice walking track following the creek. It turned out to be a shorter walk than what we anticipated, and so we did a few more walks around Lynton/Nunyara. There were a fair few people about and families in the parks, trying to make the most of outdoors social distancing whilst spending Easter at home I'm guessing.
Unfortunately, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I had a pretty decent look here, and unfortunately, no cache was found! We checked all the various hollows and stumps around the place, but alas, no cache. Perhaps some muggle kids have been playing with the trees and stumps since the playground is closed? Anyway, perhaps we just missed it; thanks anyway Team Waldron.

Made the nice walk down the path to this cache, it was easily found and is all good
After arriving back from Brisbane this morning I decided to collect a few caches around where I am currently staying.

Nice easy one for our kid's second find thank you. 4 and 7 yr old did a great job with their stealth tactics near the playground. Swapped a lovely set of stickers for a gold simba ooshie. Great prize for the next hunter!
Cache #2186.
This Saturday, the whole family went to Sturt Gorge Recreation Park for hiking and geocaching.
This was the second cache we found today. Nice and easy.
Quickly grabbed the cache, signed the log, and placed it back.
Thanks for the cache, Team Waldron.

Easy find once at the proper GZ. Extraction was a little harder but eventually it released its grip. Thanks for the cache and placement Ossie, Ossie, Ossie , Team Waldron
The Snake soon spotted the cache.
It took a bit to get out.
Stamped and returned. Tftc

Out with grandboysoz for some school holiday fun. What an amazing playground. So much fun.tftc
Lovely park. Geoson enjoyed playing here especially at the sandpit. Log book full. Tftc
Tried to find after seeing a show put on by the Blackwood Players. Too dark. Too close to a house. Might try again another time
Was bored at home so decided to go for a quick walk to find it, forgot a pencil tho so did not sign. TFTC
Master 6 found this one easily! No pencil and we didn't have a pen/pencil with us so no note left! TFTC
It wasn't the best day to go caching, but I needed to get out of the house and have a bit of distraction, so even with the rain I headed up this way to get a few of my unfound caches. [^]
Another park and playground that I didn't know existed. No one in the park on this very wet day, but I found the cache in the second place I looked. I think the cache has moved as I did not find it in the first place I looked which would have needed an extraction tool as previous logs have stated. [?]

Lovely park. Kids love playing here. Thanks for the cache. Log book needs replacing and there is no pencil.
found with the mini maker. My hand didn't fit, so after a little talk convinced her to go and grab it for me. She got covered in ink trying stamping the log ( and herself ) so all I got was a black smudge on a page. The amount of bird life in the park was surprising.
I'm glad I'd read the previous logs before coming here so knew I'd need a special extraction tool. Lucky I carry one of those around in the geo-mobile. Down it went, a quick twist and the cache was latched. Pulled it up, signed the log and dropped it all the way back down again for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache Team Waldron. Found on 19 December 2016 at 5:45 pm. Find# 3536

Out & about with hevwalker for the afternoon.
We found the cache easily enough, but extracting the item left us hot & bothered and uttering some other words.
We found a piece of wire and other items were needed to grab the cache.
Cheeky Team Waldron, thanks for the hide

After picking up clare007 off the bus into town, after work, we headed up the hill for a spot of caching...
If only I had my little blue pencil case which would have had the perfect extraction tool but I had some how left it home so we had to do some improvisation to retrieve the cache...arms were scratched...I was hot & sweaty (quite a humid, late afternoon)...I was not leaving until the log was signed...elated that we managed to get it out...

So close but no cigar. I did not have any wire or steel strap on me to reach it. See photo.
Oi Oi Oi ! ! !

Neatly tucked away in yet another park I hadn't seen before

Caching with Moneydork and Good Look for a little while this evening. This one wasn't in my GPS or Good Look's so Moneydork led us astray and then walked over to get the cache.
Out with Moneydork and SEMIK for a Tuesday night caching run, however SEMIK bailed on us a little later as she had a better offer .
A quick and easy find at night,
Thanks for the cache Team Waldron
