Out with the Wednesday Walkers doing the Tavora Loop clockwise this time. Thanks to daywalk who pointed me in the right direction. Hiding place exactly as described.TNLN. TFTC.
The rain had stopped and I had my gummies with me so ventured out along the track to grab this one. Quickly found once at GZ. Cache all good.
Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer

After missing out on the first cache, I was pleased to find this harder one. Is the tree a manatu, maybe? Staying in Portobello tonight, so missed out on the complete track but walked to the awesome beach. Thanks Bitsprayer
A nice quick find, once I got my GPS pointing in the right direction. (A reboot can make a great differece). Another lonely wee cache less lonely now. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are heading to Invercargill for a tramping club 75th jubilee, so we left a bit early in hope that the weather would be fine, so we could get a bit of caching in. So far it has been good, fingers crossed for the rest of the time away.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

Lovely walk and view of sea. Got to GZ did a big circle of searching, only couple of trees had weedmat that wouldn't move more like a tape round trunk. Tried all bushes and trees but sorry found nothing.
Cleaning trads up around Palmerston. Tavora Reserve closed so will have to return again.
On a return roadie up to Oamaru, picking up targetted (and other) caches along the way.
A wee diversion off the main Highway and a place to stretch the legs on a lovely walk on the track. Cache found after GPS had settled and I looked in a few places hintwise tftc

On the way home from a longer outing, we dropped in to find this. There has been a lot of growth and dead branches in the area, but the cache is still there and was duly signed. Another finder seems to have signed but not logged? Found with Debsnz. Thanks Bitsprayer.
Out walking (well more geocaching) with Katie W, Daywalk, P&Vee and the rest of ever-patient non-geocahcers in our Wednesday Walker crew
Beautiful winter's day meant time for an adventure. This cache was a quick find, although there seems to be more debris than when the cache was first laid? No matter, it helps hide it further. Off to the beach and then complete the loop around Bobby's Head. TFTC
I was looking at the wrong side of the tree. We did the complete walk and would well recommend it as great views.
Last time I was past here the walkway was closed and even though the cache was just a short distance I decided to obey the signage. Enjoyable short walk today thanks. Now off to visit a long lost sister-in-law who has recently re-emerged in Palmerston. TFTC # 13,641
Found quite easily was standing there thinking I need to check the clue and yes have a look there. Thanks picked up 3 trackables. This cache is not visited very often so have taken all three trackables.
Tried to do as little bush whacking as possible - the Geo App was a bit wayward but with some honed caching sense the container was spotted going the other way around, at the back. Left a trackable: Billy the Kid.
Heading to the Oamaru Geofest so a wee drive around Palmerston to collect a few caches. Nice wee stroll into the reserve to get this one. TFTC
Nice walk to this one day. Took a bit to find but found it in the end. I will have to come back so we can complete the whole walk track down to the beach one day when we have more time TFTC ?
I had a nice wee stroll into the Reserve and found the cache. I didn't complete the circuit as it was starting to drizzle again.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
The loop is a very pleasant walk to complete. One young sea lion and a dozen or so fur seals spotted. Cache was in excellent condition.
Visiting again on a beautiful day - my, how the trees have grown!

One of the things I really like about this 'hobby' is being taken to places that you would never know existed - and this is a perfect example! Have made a note that we must come back and do the full circuit. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
We were enjoying the walk so much, we didn't noticed the GPS until it said it was behind behind us! A quick wander in the long, wet grass and we soon had our smiley. Found with debsnz
Jacob stayed in the car while Liz ans Stephen dashed for the cache. With more time we would ave walked the whole way.
Nice to return to this lovely part of Eastern Otago. A short walk soon had us scrambling 'neath shrubs and the like. Our GPS said it should be here, and true enough, it was. A check on the GPS before we moved suggested 2 alternatives of ways to reach the next cache.....
First cache on the way back to Christchurch. Nice little walk and easy find. Was lovely out here this evening. Cheers Gav [10568]
A nice little stroll in the sun (think I managed to pick up a bit of sunburn here )

We were trying to fit in as many finds as possible so didn't have time to walk the full track today. Might come back and do it on a slightly cooler day in future. TFTC!
What an awesome spot, nice easy walk to beach but due to time constraints couldn,t carry on to the next cache TFTC
Found with Mr B on our run from Dunedin up to Oamaru. A good community project. TFTC.
Mama has to work today but Granville is visiting from Invercargill so he, Papa and Guwapo packed into the CacheMobile and headed out for a days caching. Another nice reserve. Salamat!
Found this one on our track in the Tavora Reverse. Nice hide with an easy found.

Both Cumbyrocks Jnrs enjoyed the stroll down to this one. Another pretty spot in this area that will look great once it has matured a bit more. TFTC.
Great wee find. Felt a bit sneaky in the bush. Luckly had kids with me if I needed an excuse
Nice easy find, with help from a couple of muggle friends (geocachers-in-training!).
Tftc. Admired the plantings - it's good to see a great example of good riparian management. 5th of 11.
We were here planting a while ago but got called away before we could do the round trip, so today we combined the round trip with the two caches (and of course a visit to the beach). Superb views, lovely walk, very happy cachers thank you Bitsprayer. The plantings are making such a difference. Lots of happy skinks seen- the pest control is working for them!

A good start to the morning, a good walk in an interesting area with a bonus at the end of the walk.
Thanks

A good combination with 'seals and ladders', quick grab on our way out of the reserve.
What a nice area. Were in bushes finding it when people walked pass. Kept quiet dont think we were spotted.Took pink pig.
Missed the first turnoff, so took a round-about route to get here.A very nice place to have lunch. - TB Frodo Baggins, + TB Flanders. TFTC
Arrived at carpark and as we were getting out of vehicle another car pulled up so met up with UNCLE so a combined FTF. TFTC
Folowing UNCLE and drawp around. Lovely spot and easier find than the number of stars might indicate!
Hadn't noticed the difficulty rating until I read nofs note! Yes, definitely not a 5 star rating! Very nice to meet drawp and a joint FTF claim.
Quickly in hand TFTC... it just goes to show you should just go for it anyway, we were wondering what to expect quite funny really as it keeps you on your toes!! great day caching with nofs.
