One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Still not there and have had needs maintenance logs for over a year. Time to go I think.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Did not find this one but was very interesting place. Like logs before I think it has been removed because of recent construction. If you can't reverse long distances do not drive down the lane. There is no where to turn around.

22-Apr-16
Can the CO check on this one please as it appears it may have been removed.

10-Apr-16
No luck! Brand new fencing where 3 points meet.

22-Mar-16
Had a good look around, there's been recent council works and new fences so maybe it's been removed? Nice little hidden spot to visit though Smile

20-Sep-15
Wet log but logged it

The laneway was roped off, I think the farmer had been using it to feed the horses. After the short walk we reached GZ where nothing could be seen despite a few likely places. A longish search did not turn up the item, and we were about to stop when I looked in an unexpected place to find it, out of sight but not really hidden. Thanks for the hide, the cemetery itself is now locked off so you can't enter.

22-Jun-15
Found it, not at the three points but close. Needs new log

21-Jun-15
Easy find...opened the gate to turn car around gate held by string

21-Jun-15
New log might help

20-Jun-15
This was interesting. One if the horse handlers said it was in there somewhere. My companions hadn't known of this cemetary.

For the record the song in my head - "Fiddler on the Roof - If I Were A Rich Man"

I came up to Maitland today to go the caravan and camping show. After getting bogged in the van twice within the past 12 months and both times being in situations where I was far from help and without reception I figured it was time to find something that could help me out. I do the majority of my caching alone so if I get bogged it's not as though I've got anyone who can help me out, especially out in the middle of a national park... I found a cool product called "Bog Out" which seemed to suit my needs and as luck would have it the guy selling the things had a stall at the show. So I decided to come up to ask him some questions and hopefully purchase one (which I did). It's always a nice sweetener also when you know you can grab some caches from a new area!!

I came to this one after visiting the show as it was soo close. I like others was a bit hesitant of where I was going but thankfully the sign pointed me in the right direction. I pulled off the road and onto the gravel driveway section to find cars all around and people out the front. With nowhere to park I figured I'd drive up to the cache as suggested. As I drove along I was unsure about the lane but tried to act normal. There was a farmer on a tractor right next to me in the paddock and I was hoping for a moment where we could acknowledge each other with a nod but it never came. This didn't put my mind at ease about the whole situation.

I drove all the way down the lane and parked in front of the gate to see more people in the paddock nearby. I got out and had a look at the graves and tried to act normal, not that I knew how to act in a Jewish graveyard... When the coast was clear (at least from seeing me directly due to some well placed cover) I made my way to GZ and made a quick find. I signed the log and put it all back in place as quickly as I could.. It really wasn't going to look good if I got caught here...

I jumped back into the van and then realised it was a long reverse to get out of there. There is no way to turn around so reversing is the only option. Once I got out I quickly sped away, I didn't want to be questioned as to why I was there!!

Thanks for bringing me to such a cool little place. Very interesting indeed!

TFTC cheers

Searched for this one in an area that looked likely for a hide but as previous cachers have said the hint doesn't fit neither does the container description. With a little bit of scratching around we found it. I always like interesting little spots like this. TFTC.

19-Mar-15
What a strange place to get to! It looked so much like private property, and I had to reverse out of the narrow lane way...The cache I could not find.

Directions easy to follow but no cache

04-Jul-14
Had a look for this one today. Couldn't find it and previous logs lead me to believe it's gone, maybe it needs to be double checked and maintained for future geocachers Smile

30-Jun-14
Tricky to find where the access road to the cache is, especially with the new fencing....and the new fencing appears to be to reason the cache container was broken and out in the open. Put the log in a small pill bottle and rehid on the other side where it has some cover. TFTC Team Woodbats.

22-Jun-14
This cache needs serious maintenance!!! Also, if your not the best at reversing, leave your car at the begging of the drive way

01-Jun-14

Found this today! Was a bit strange at first but found it in the end

13-Feb-14
Just want to post a note and say this was a straightforward find. Coords are spot on and the cache is in good order. Access was easy once I'd opened the gate and was able to turn around.

Took nothing (nothing to take) and left a yellow brooch.

TFTC and history lesson.

So we passed the sign with the note it's the largest site in nsw (what about Sydney?) and passed the kind of broken houses with the racing horses in the back and walked up it the cemetery to have a look around, interesting and we did a big bag of trash in... Pity. Got the cache, signed and left to the next public bin

Attempted to access by two different routes but met with resistance from residents on both occasions with the view I have no helicopter available I'll give this one a miss

27-Feb-13
Came up to Maitland today to grab a few old and new caches.
No muggles about today except for two young ladies practicing dressage nearby. This was a quick find. I like these little cemeteries but its a bit sad when they're not maintained. Headstones often make interesting reading but not being able to read Hebrew was certainly a handicap here. Thanks Team Woodbats

25-Feb-13
Wow muggles everywhere. Unusual little cemetery that we knew nothing about. Thanks Woodbats.

26-Jan-13
After such a long time, apologies, here Is my new and much improved log.

We came down here on Australia Day and had a bit of a celebration at Maitland Park and made our way down here to see if we could find this cache.

What a tight squeeze! But we made it.
After searching through the options (well, we thought there were a few anyways), the cache was in hand, log swiftly signed, cache safely replaced and we returned to the car.

There are muggles all around this place, they must know about this because otherwise, I don't know how it's still there.

Anyways, thanks Team Woodbats for a great little hide.

Headed into Maitland to do a few things and could not resist getting some caches as well. This was one we were able to find. What an interesting location, we missed the laneway on our first go.

So many houses surrounding the GZ, interesting...

09-Jun-12
Found whilst up in this area. Unsure what was going on with this cache as cache was empty but log was sitting in hide with cache. Not too damp considering the weather we have had but still damp enough to make signing difficult. Interesting cemetery in the middle of houses.
TFTC.

08-Apr-12

PS: notes are a week old & didn't see last post.

Found it late in the afternoon don't know what the person training the horse thinks I was doing. Very easy find just getting out was not as easy.
