The cache is there, so it is no longer 'under a cloud'. It exists, with a new log. A fun hide, so a favourite from me. The CO needs to remove the 'temporarily unavailable' listing. TFTC number eight...haitch.
Found this cache whilst House Sitting locally for a couple of weeks...
I have pictures of my Grand parents here not long after it opened... Great to have visited this very same spot...

This hasn't been found since June, with 9 DNF's since then. I had all day to find this, with no muggles, and it's definitely not there.
As I am logging a little later than some others (21/11) I would definitely suggest the CO go and check that it is actually still there.
No muggles close by, so I had a good look for over 20 minutes, but nothing suitable for that size.

No luck with this cache, I was trying not to look conspicuous and was limited with the time to spend searching. Thanks for the excuse to check out the memorial.
After the 4 DNFs. I tried my luck anyway to no avail. The memorial was very interesting tho.
TheSkype, who had found his cache previously was with me on this hunt, but even with
his expert knowledge of the cache location, we could not find it. Adios amigo.

I gave up and went back to the car. Geo husband said it couldn't be that hard, came over and it was the first place he touched! Grr...
#2241 - 14:15; I was in Cooma for a training day and after grabbing the nearby earthcache, decided I should grab a couple more on the way out of town. With a muggle going about his business across the street, I was a little constrained in the search and ended up using a PAF, who had logged the cache very recently. Needlessly it seems, as the hiding spot must have been the only one able to be checked discretely, which I had not searched thoroughly . All was good in the end though and I was able to sign the log and return the cache to its hide without attracting undue attention. Great location for a cache and nice to see the local Lions were involved in its construction, so a favourite as well. TFTC haitch
A fascinating history stop with a cache attached. Though I must say we fingured a lot of spots before they hit paydirt.
3312. A great cache. A good hide, some interesting history to take in and some buttons to push to get the story. I really enjoyed this one. Many thanks and a favourite from me.
Very nice cache. Something interesting to read and easy to disguise your real intentions. TFTC, TD.
Easy find. I'm glad I brought my tall geohusband for this one.
Spent some time here listening to the audio.
Visited with The Tea Bag TB I picked up at the lookout just before finding this cache. The Age of Dragons TB wasn't in this cache when we visited.

Found this on Easter Saturday and could not believe I did not find this 2 years ago. Fascinating exhibition and well worth a stop. TFTC.
Chilly morning find with Takkaone and GuylieKwong, the best GCing buddies this side of 'berra. TFTC!
This is a very apt cache to find at the moment, with MH370 still missing... Will it take 27 years to find under the ocean? Thanks for bringing us here and giving us a history lesson.
I always thought this was just a dodgy 70s monument full of farm machinery. So wrong. TFTC!
23/3/2014. Eighth find for the day out with Liv81 for a drive south. Cool place and nice hide..TFTC
Found this one with jojo777 on our roadtrip through Australia while exploring Cooma. Happy to make a quick find here.

On our way south on a road trip from qld, my hubby wanting to check out his old child hood home just around the corner.
I love the caches that take you to a place and give you a piece of history.

Third day in a row of caching with my 2 eldest daughters. Destination is Cooma today. Plan is to pick up all the remaining unfound caches along the highway, drop into the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre and do as many caches as time will allow in Cooma.
This was an interesting location. We listened to a couple of the stories and had to be patient while other visitors explored the site. When the opportunity to search availed us, we done so quickly and have the cache in our hands in no time. An enjoyable cache, thanks haitch.

Thought it might be a quick easy one. Had a decent look but unable to locate. Thanks anyway - interesting history lesson.
An interesting monument - I hadn't heard of this story until now. I took a while to look at the display, and at the surrounding area, while searching surreptitiously for the cache. Finally found it, and carefully extracted it, not wanting to replicate LHBfans experience...
TNLN - Thanks haitch!

Found it! A quick find at an interesting memorial on the road to Perisher Valley! TFTC and the history lesson. SL
Found today by binkagal introducing her Mum maamooc to the wonderful world of geocaching. Find #2 for the day.
Took nothing. Left nothing.
TFTC! It has been great searching for caches around Cooma; binkagal was born in Bombala and spent her childhood in Cooma, wombat22 was born and raised here! There have been some trips down memory lane with our caching journey here.

A quick stop and an easy find on the way to Mt. Kosciuszko. Thanks (from the Czech Republic)
14:15 Passing through Cooma on our way for a few days at Thredbo over Christmas, this cache was en route. Comedy of errors. Knock the container from its hiding place. It skids well into the display area. Get extendable Leki stick from car boot to retrieve it, only to spill a number of precariously stowed items onto the road. Oh dear. Anyway all was well on the end. TFTC
learnt a bit didn't know this was in Cooma

Heading to Canberra to have a look at the "Mapping the World" exhibition we decided to take the scenic way and pick up a few caches along the way.
This is our second cache base around The Southern Cloud, the first one was in the rough area that it was missing and found all those years later. We really enjoyed this memorial and although it was a tragic accident you still have to take your hat off to the pilots of that era who flew with very little navigational aids and no radios. We located the cache very quickly here and after adding our name to the log Diane spotted the audio guide so we listened to that before leaving.
Thanks Haitch for the cache, a favourite point from us.

Tried all around the monument but no look will have another go next time down here
Nice hide, always wanted to stop here.
Quick find with Tim while changing drivers.
The motors looked like lions in the dark!

Got it after admiring the memorial. Went to the Lott for lunch afterwards. Recommend it!
Thanks for the interesting history for the memorial and TFTC. Grabbed early this morning.
Decided to make my trip from Sydney to Jindabyne more interesting by stopping by to find caches. Funnily enough, I I accomplished these all in ugg boots.. hehe.
I liked this one! Had to do some thinking, lots of muggles around but quickly grabbed it and returned it after signing
Find 8/9 for the trip!

When I was working on the Snowy when the wreck was found and I visited the wreck site. I was one of the many who snavelled a small souvenier. Thanks haitch.
