Got as close as 2m but could find the container - lot of trees are cut down here
Recent felling looks to have obliterated the cache. It's a big one so shouldn't get any DNFs. CO hasn't logged on since July 2013.
Hmm, same result as previous searcher. Perhaps its been carried off by chainsaw wielding muggles?
Found on a great walk / bike ride through the forest. Junior cacher exclaimed "wow this is the best cache I've ever found". So on thst basis I'll have to give it a favourite point! No teddies swapped today but there are plenty there waiting for new owners. TB taken. Tftc, very cool!
Found this one 8 years ago, came back today with the little cacher but try as we might we couldn't find it! Phone also ran out of battery so we couldn't use GPS , will try again soon
#2,829: Bear Smiley!
I came to this nice, large cache as the last one on my walk. It was a beautiful Spring-like Winter's day, and I enjoyed my time a lot. Such a large cache, and chocka full of bear friends! I left a wee traveler I brought from the US. Happy Trails!

rebelled against the system on this one and rode my bike down the walking track ooops,
didn't take long to locate, kids weren't with me today so didn't take anything . tftc.

After searching for a while and using one of the trees in the pictures as a clue, me and the kids finally found it. They both swapped a teddy each.
Found it after a couple of false starts. Not as far in the bush as we thought originally. Great cache!
Third time lucky! Decided to take Mr6 for a bike ride and give the 2 dogs a run too and thought we could approach this from a different angle. Can't believe I've missed it before as I spotted it from a way off. We also brought Poppy Puppy to meet the other teddies but she is definitely not for swapping. The large doll and little duck were quite wet, as was the inside of the box but everything else is dry. Tried to get rid of some of the moisture. TFTC
Out on a wander with Dottie nothing taken nothing left. Great great Fp from me Thank you for placing and maintaining Teddy Bear Picnic (Canterbury) geocache, from Mr Cuddly Brick Found on this awesome day the 6 November 2016, sweet cache number # 1524
Hooray. Found one after 2 dnfs. With Arandee. Cache is missing a clip and is quite full so lid isn't staying closed too well. Tftc
Great cache. The 3 boys loved hunting for this one. Always nice to be walking out in nature with the family. Thanks.
One handle is missing. Closed up tight though.

12:30h. Wow! What a cache! I found many caches but all to small to drop a TB. Finally I found a small cache just big enough. Now I regret I did't wait for this one. Favorite!
What a great play on the song! Love the idea and kids were stoked. We took a "me to you" bear and left a Beaver Creek Colorado Beaver. *It is worth noting that Charlie Rd no longer connects to 20th Ave because of the tree piles. We searched for an "easy for little feet" entrance, but ended up tracking through the bramble and log piles. Found a much easier way out. Look for a faint path along the tree line close to Bravo Rd. Follow the tree line until it connects with the old Charlie Rd path. Or approach from 21st Ave.
Found with the kids and the dogs Took Eeyore and left Tatty Teddy. Container handle is broken, may get everything wet in a downpour.
Great idea! We got a little confused at first because we couldn't find a track marker, but the track wasn't too hard to find
Between hiking the Heaphy track and flying out to Fiji we spent two days in CHCH. I borrowed a bike from my friends place for both days to get some of the geocaches close by done. Easy find at GZ. TFTC
I was out for a walk in the forest to test my gammy knees out. They lasted a 10km hike. It was nice to pick up the odd cache as well.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
What a lovely cache! Definitely a favourite. It took a little bit to find because the GPS wasn't working very well under the forest cover but we found it in the end. TFTC
The kids thought this was the best ever! So much fun. We adopted George and left the cookie time moster. George will be happy in his new home with 7 kids.
Got in a few cuddles before tucking them back in their bags. A couple have managed to get themselves wet although the container is dry inside. Thanks for the cuddly cache!
A relaxed morning's stroll brought me to the inevitable Teddy Bear Picinic
Every forest worth its trees, must surely hide a picinic spot for teddy bears.
Those little teddy bears need somewhere to have a wonderful time
These teddy bears are certainly low profile [:o]
It took me a good 20 minutes of poking about,
I had to stomp and shout !!
To find where the teddy bears were having a good time
They couldn't hide forever,
And I did eventually step on the box and break up the party
TFTC !!
It is a whopper !! [^]

WOAH! This cache is amazinggggggg! It took a while to find, but then I noticed something that seemed a bit out of place... Unfortunately most of the teddies were wet (PLEASE WRAP UP THE TEDDIES SO THEY STAY DRY!!!)
I leave behind Little George who had been sitting all alone in my attic for 5 years (please give him a good home!) and adopted Corraline! (who was slightly damp but really appealed to me.) SO FLUFFY!

I didn't quite DNF this one as I couldn't work out how to get anywhere near the cache site. Next time I'll come from the other end of huge park to avoid barren tree felled wasteland! I was looking forward to finding this cache but the geomutt was tired after a day of caching and we were pretty far away from this cache. Maybe next weekend!
Out for a bike ride in Bottle Lake Forest to find some caches. Took a while to find the teddy bears. Thanks for the cache.
3rd time lucky for us!! So pleased to smile this off. Handle on the lid is broken, leaving a gap for water to get in. Everything inside the cache is wet, teddys and the log book. We did a quick tidy up an dry out. Loved the cache, will bring kids back during the holidays to show them we actually did find! Wouldn't of found it without BaldEds help. Thanks BaldEd!
I have been to this cache before to drop off a travel bug for paddle chick .Today Paddle chick and I were out looking for caches in bottle lake Forest so I decided to have a look for this cache. After a small search found it plus we were rewarded with 2 travel bugs. Tftc
There was a family also searching for this cache when I arrived, after about 15 mins searching spotted the cache. Very well hidden and was great to see the kids so excited.
Also discovered a TB but it was too big to move on, so left it there. TFTC

Second time in a week going walking in Bottle Lake Forest Park (very unlike me), a good opportunity to pick up the last couple of caches down this end as well as the info for the multi cache along the way. Find number 1, no trouble finding the cache and it was in good order. Didn't exchange any bears but I did drop a large TB. TFTC (1863)
Found with timtammz, left Holly Husky to be adopted and took Richie McBear
Dropped in a wee travel bug

Public holiday, no work, nice day- cache time! This week I marked out several caches on a route to go find today, so with that done, Caitie15 and I headed out in search. First stop was Bottle Lake for the 2 hidden in the forest. Filed followed the map past Charlie Rd and had to backtrack as there were no signposts. GPS kept spinning in circles so we stopped to sort it, look down and bingo! Caitie15 left Holly Husky and adopted Richie McBear and I left Pepsi Polar and adopted Little Blue.
I had a bit of time up my sleeve this morning before my blood donation appointment and I felt like a walk. I had a couple of caches to grab in the area. I parked at the information centre and headed off. Lovely day for a stroll. Got to GZ without too much effort. Started searching and started to spread out the search area. I came back to the spot GPSr was pointing and I nearly stood on it. It's alive and well.
Thanks for the cache.

wow this is the coolest cache we have found so far! definitely put a smile on my face. what generous lovely people we have in chch
They have closed this area for logging not sure if cache is retrievable. looking towards it from one of the still open roads it looked like there might be a digger right on top of it
Was super excited to go hunting for this cache! However tree felling had most of the access blocked off. Stink!
Could not access due to tree felling in the area tried finding a way around but big trucks everywhere.
Found on a nice afternoon with the family. TFTC! Left Insalan the Island Dragon
Lovely afternoon for a walk in the forest. Not sure if the clue is still relevant as there certainly doesn't seem to be any obvious track here. Thanks for the cache.
Love the idea of this one the kids must love it too, we stopped and had a picnic with all of them and put them back we didn't have any bears to swap. Hope they all find new homes soon.
[:o)] The NosyBear caching team thought we'd get all the bears out and have a picnic. [:o)]. bBear44's smartphone takes better pictures and selfies. [:o)]. Then you will get to see our wee picnickers.[:o)]. My favourite bear was the handmade bear. I can't remember her name but she was super soft and cuddly. [:o)]
Great cache for the little one's!! Our girls choose to swap Matthew The Orange Bear for a Green Frog. Cheers..
Loved finding this one!! We took the orange cow and swapped it for a All Blacks teddy.
Morning walk with Sir Belac. A lot of muggles enjoying the fresh air TFTC

Came out this way after church today to scope out a place to hide a cache.
Wasn't planning on finding this cache here, but went so far, that in the end, we may as well find it!!
Toughest part was finding the track. After that, the cache was obvious, but this does seem a very unused track!
Loved the way the cache was hidden And a fantastic size!!!
Consec caching day # 525
TFTC!!

Well camoed. Lots of goodies inside, didnt take anything but left a couple of travel bugs
Found this one a while Back but forgot to log it. Well hidden and the kids loved seeing what was inside. They took toys to swap but ended up taking nothing and bringing their much loved ones back home for another day! Great cache.
Quick easy find on an early morning walk. Great cache that needs a bit of TLC might try an find a new container if I am back this way. Thanks for the hide.
