Found but unable to write in log now- cache contains too much water- no point in us drying it out. Have taken photo for proof if CO wants it.
Found it but might need re done. Inside of container wet and soggy including log. Couldn't record as too wet.
Visible from a short distance - think it must have been shifted from original home, in a bit of a state, log was damp and hard to write on. May need the CO to come and take a look at it.
Spent about 20 mins on this one before discovering. No need to venture too far into bush
After attending the nearby schools open night we decided to have a go at finding this cache. With a torch that was rather pathetic, we relied more on the hint while searching. I think luck was on our side because we found the cache pretty quickly. Woohoo that's 14 caches so far for the month, a perfect record. TFTC.

4791. Decided to spend a couple of extra days in Dunedin after the Mega Event. This was day two and the ninth cache find of the day. It was obvious where the location would be as we approached the area, having been there before a long time ago when the container was in a slightly different spot at GZ. This time we were successful and the cache was quickly found and log signed without causing any further damage to the flora. Thanks for the cache, Rodney and Iris.
Finally getting around to logging... On the way back home from the MEGA. Thanks.
We saw some other cachers coming off the track as we were going in.

On the way back north from Mega with Kiwi Legend. KL was driver and cache selector. We had a great day caching, me using my new gps. Occasionally I was able to find the cache first and this was one of the ones I found. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache.
Nice cammo! Caching after the Mega. TFTH!!

NZ12. Out caching with Dazzatron today. This one took ages as there were so many spots and the GPS was all over the place. In the end it was in a reasonably accessible spot, even through we had been drawn further up. Thanks.

A bit slippery near GZ and had to wait for a muggle to pass, but a quick find after that.

Today it was just Sully1 and I to grab a few caches and learn and see a bit more of this beautiful town.
Despite the forecast, the weather held up once again, and we had a great day finding some clever and simple hides, but all were a joy to find.
Thanks for this one us04, nice walk and hide

Found with bogonghazy whilst in town for the Mega Event. We had a great few days caching around Dunedin, and the weather was perfect, even though some places were quite muddy underfoot. My Thanks to the CO for the placement of this cache, and for bringing us here today.
The weather has remained stable and is quite warm compared to yesterday. This took a while and the neighbour was quite curious as to what was going on. The Chief did stand out a little bit with his tie dyed trackable shirt on! TFTC

We are out for the day with the Earthbound's whilst on our NZ Mega Trip. Nana in the nearby house watched us suspiciously sitting in the cars whilst occasionally casting a glance towards the boys and then she moved to the back balcony to continue her neighborhood watch vigil. Luckily the cache cant be seen from her house. Cache was easily located, logbook signed and cache replaced. TFTCy
Found with troobloo and Bushbaby321 while at the NZ MEGA. SL TN Left some PT's along the way. T4TC

This too a while. too long really. What's annoying was this was the very first place I looked!
Parked safely just off the footpath on the grass. Walked a short distance along track and saw where GPSr was indicating GZ. Found it straight away. Not far from the path and there is a marker on the correct fern. This area is fragile and with the Mega event we as cachers need to help protect this type of ecosystem. So this one s still at home. We thought this cache had left home, but it was just hiding. Found according to clue on the 2nd runver of the area.

Spent a lot of time on a sunny Sunday with few distractions but I could not find it. Thinking like a hider, there was an obvious spot given the hint, but all I found was dirt. [?]
Quick find, no one about today.

Second time a charm for this one. Don't know I missed it the first time. Simple but effective hide. TFTC
2 adults spent 10 minutes looking for the cache, our 5 yo daughter finaly found it.
Took a bit of hunting to find this one. Had quite a small inquisitive dog 'help' me. Cheers Gav [10451]
Picked this up on the way home from work. Km and mother-in-law hunted for it last week but didn't manage to find it. I had a quick scrabble round and had it located without too much trouble (it was in the third place I looked after I read the hint). Didn't realise this walkway was here even though we have driven past loads of times! Signed log book at 16:48.
Today our midwife told us that to get the baby on the move KM had to take a three hour walk.... she decided to go with her mum for a bit of a wander (they did return around an hour later). On their travels they had a look for this geocache, which is quite near home. No luck with this one today, so I'll go and have a look for it myself another time =).
Final find of the arvo - was a bit of a scurry up the bank, which was damp post-snow. GP found it in the end, looked a bit out on the open - so we moved it slightly to reflect the hint given. TFTC.
Failed to find this one 18 months ago, but walked right up to it today. Last time the GPSr was leading us to a spot about 10m away but today it was pretty accurate. TFTC!
Was a bit of a slippery walk to and from the cache but luckily we came from the bottom. The path up the top of the stairs was completely white with frozen snow!!

I used to go to school here, know the spot well... once we walked over, and me and one other kid got photos taken of us for some school thing... gosh that was years and years ago!
The school has changed alot since then... but still looks similiar. Brought back many memories going past... seeing all the kids playing on the playground!
Went down the wrong side for starters, so ended up doing quite a bit of slipping and jumping, and holding onto stuff, and stuff...
but got the cache in the end.

Found with Mr B on our Dunedin raid which included 86 finds for the day. The first days of school can be pretty scary but then become good fun - or that's how I remember it many many years ago. TFTC.
