An easy run down the highway today, so decided to head over here and wander thru the woodlands. What a beautiful spot to explore! I located the cache easily after admiring the wildflowers and trees. All good with this cache Even had a shady place to park Star the Geo-car TFTC benandmel Dropping off a **FAVE** here
A great little walk in the bush, thankfully not too far. This one still a great geocache, even after 15 years. tftc
Found It!A nice little walk here to start the day with and a quick find once I got to GZ.TFTC
Thank goodness it was a quick find- I've come to cringe when the clue says rocks! TFTC
frmen1 and I enjoyed what is still open of the serenity walk. Found the cache surprisingly quickly. Admired the rock formations. TFTC
Nice walk along the Serenity Track, quick find with tassie expat. Cache is in good condition. Thanks
Today we undertook a short move from Inverell to Glen Innes on an overcast and cool day. We picked up a couple of caches en route but took time on arrival to walk the main street and admire all the older buildings and the range of retail outlets on offer. We live in a town of very similar size, but only developed over relatively recent times, and cannot boast town centre Glen Innes can.We picked up a number of caches later in the afternoon and finished our exploring at the Standing Stones. A great feature with its adjoining lookout.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache benandmel.**SKI Pair****
Came here for a little walk. Couldnt find a clear path to the cache so decided to just walk through the long grass. The cache was found almost immediately and was in good condition. Thanks!
Visiting Glen Innes today for Minerama and decided to drive out the road to find this one. Probably wouldnt recommend wearing thongs like I did but I got there! TFTC
Day 25With the QOGM event now over it was time to continue our journey alone back to Coffs Harbour. Visiting some new towns and LGAs we explored the countryside, Big Things, water tower art and of coarse many caches.Found broken bits of sistema and a toy soldier as per hint so we went back to the car for a replacement sistema with logbook and pencil. Thanks benandmel for the placement.
Calypso62 came up with the goods at this one, a not-too-bad-at-all stroll to get here through a wonderful bit of bush land. We were here middle of the day so didn’t even try to spot platypus. Maybe one day I’ll see one in the wild! Enjoyed the walk back to the car, slowly and stopping often to appreciate the nature around us.

An enjoyable walk in that led to the find. Thankfully, no legless cache guardians were discovered along the way. Thanks for the geofun.

Greetings from Las Vegas Nevada!
Traveling the country looking for adventure and caches. Awesome to find occasional remote ones like this.

Thanks for the cache! All in good working order, lovely stroll through the woodlands
Down in Glen Innes for a few days and decided to grab a few caches. Try a few ways to get to this cache as the grasses were very high so was a bit of a challenge. Soon found the resting place of this cache. Signed the log and returned to its hiding place. TFTC.
Found with MDT79 and Gum62 on so wonderful Geocache explore weekend from Port Macquarie/Taree to Glen Innes and Grafton via Old Grafton Glen Innes Rd TFTC
Wonderful activity for a Wintery day. TFTC. Left a gift but didn’t take anything. Had fun with hubby and daughter (BBRXXE) and it was her first cache. Lucky a pathway was trodden down to help us.
A fun little walk with the kids! Picked up a travel bug (that hadn’t been logged into the cache?) and will drop him off elsewhere during our travels to the coast in a few weeks. TFTC!
Geofriend, Heather and I did some geocaching on the way to the Highland Gathering at Glen Innes. This cache was quite an adventure. We didn't see a Platapus but we saw a Long Neck Diver, some lovely trees in their Autumn leaf dresses and we enjoyed a great tramp along some well worn tracks to sme great Granite Rocks. The log was signed then we selected a different path back to our car. If I knew how to award a favourite point now, I would, but things have changed and I can't but thanks for the cache benandme.
Found as I made my way back home to Adelaide after attending the Mega Event at Townsville over Easter.
I camped at Mount French last night and took the opportunity to grab this cache as I continued my journey south.
Thanks benandmel for the cache.

Bit of a track through the long grass. Easy to spot once there. Beautiful red trees. Tftc
TFTC. Found this on a trip to this beautiful area to attend a wedding. We enjoyed our walk but it’s a shame the local council doesn’t maintain the grounds.
Lots of wild flowers at the moment and overcast coditions kept it cool for the walk through this beautiful spot. TFTC

Both Robbieracer66 and I have just noticed we didn't log this cache...our signatures are in the logs a d we can remember where cache was located...tftc
I didn't plan on grabbing this cache, but after finishing up at the Australian Standing Stones I decided to venture down the road to grab it. I parked my car by the gate and wandered down the trail towards GZ. I was in awe of the size of the granite boulders in the area, I think I was more interested in those rather then the cache. After a few minutes of exploring the area I started looking for the cache and spotted the hide in the first place I looked.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Day 2 of my road trip from Brisbane. Today travelling from Warwick to Armidale. Thank you to all CO's for placing these caches - its greatly appreciated! Found your cache and signed log. Placed back where found. TFTC
I found this geocache on a mystical journey from South Australia, through Victoria, New South Wales and back again.
I did log all of the caches on my handheld GPS however some of the logs did not sychronise properly so I apologise for the generic log on these caches, which are the ones that didn't log proprly from my GPS.
I had a fantastic journey and thank you for placing and maintaining your geocache or earthcache for visitors like me.

I love the area this cache has been placed in. There was no one around when I was there so I parked in the shade and went exploring. My thongs weren't the best foot attire as the dawn dew soon had me slipping and sliding so I took them off . Well that wasn't much more successful as there was just enough gravel on the path to be annoyingly painful and my feet too tender these days. Back on go the now gritty thongs, I just sighed and persevered.
The back part of the park is not particularly well maintained by the council right now so more than a bit overgrown. Im sure they will get to it when they can. They have moved down the walking paths so they can be used to get a wee bit closer before having to venture into the long grass.
I saw some lorrikeets enjoying the bounty of the apple and cherry trees which made me smile.
I hopped across the rocks till I slipped off one of them, by then I was pretty much at gz and the obvious SPOR.
I replaced the mushy logbook with some fresh paper and was soon slogging my way back to the car to continue my drive home. Heading down the old Grafton road so its likely to take me all day.

Nice quick easy find.
A really lovely walk to get to gz, except maybe for the long grass.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Nice walk to break up some driving today. Log has a little bit of moisture. TFTC.
This slight detour off the road was a hidden gem, yet quiet as a mouse. A short walk to cache, had me amazed at the work done in the area for picnics and a chance to relax away from stresses of life. Cache log was paper mache but found a place to sign. Tftc
Log is wet and needs replacing. Nice spot and we saw some beautiful rosellas. TFTC!
Unfortunately the log has been tampered with and was thrown around on the ground. Log was to wet to sign.
Another easy day today only a couple more for our tally. A day of cleaning out the caravan and a quick clean of the car after travelling on some muddy roads.

With Fangsoki, Crew153 and 1MinnieMoo we have been on the Dorrigo Plateau for the weekend - and now heading back to Brisbane - and our final find was here. With cows. Lots of cows crossing the road right as we arrived. And allowed us a chance to chat to Farmer Brown - before heading bush for a great find to bookend our weekend away.
Thanks benandmel for entertaining me at this location.

I was on an Australia Day long weekend road trip with Pprime, Fangsoki and 1MinniMoo and we had targeted caches in the area which would help us to qualify for a number of challenges.
WE had to wait for a herd of cows to cross the road before we could enter the park. We enjoyed the stroll to the search area and we were glad that this area had not received the torrent of rain that we had passed through down the road. Cache was quickly found by Pprime.

27/1/20 Find #3423
Fangsoki, PPrime, Crew153 and I were spending the Australia Day long weekend in and around Dorrigo. This was our final day of our trip.
This cache was our final for our journey in NSW. A whole herd of cattle were being sent across the road from this area as we turned up. We waited for them to cross, then made our way in.
Along the walk to the cache, the man on his little golf cart type vehicle with his two working dogs drove up to us to ask us if we’d seen any more cows on the walk. Happy he had managed to herd them all across the road, he was off on his way again, mission successful.
Then we continued on our way and made our find quickly, our mission also a success.
Thanks for the cache benandmel.

1MinnieMoo, Pprime, Crew 153, and I were in the Guyra / Ebor Area grabbing caches. This was our third day while in the area.
Our final find as a group for this trip. We were treated to cows crossing the road just as we got to the entrance. We talked to a friendly farmer who was happy to hear his cows had gotten across a-okay. 1MinnieMoo found the cache safe and sound.

Made the trip out to this beautiful area just to visit the nearby strawberry place(and grab some caches of course)

Quick find after walking down the road/track from the picnic area. A nice pocket of woodland though very dry at the moment with the drought. Picnic area is somewhat unloved with the table in the shelter missing its seats and looks like someone has lit a fire around one of its legs TFTC
Found with Zwartclan. A lovely area that the kids loved exploring as we wandered along,
Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang

While in the Glen Innes area we travelled the locallity exploring the area and stopping for caches. This was one we targetted and found. On our day out to got to explore an old mining area in Ottery and also found a good place for lunch in Emmaville at the pub. Thanks to benandmel for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Let the road trip continue (day 2) with Brother Colin.
Another little detour and find on our way south.
Thanks for the cache.

This cache is badly damaged and needs to be replaced. While one of the logs is dry enough to sign, it is in poor condition.
Traipsing through the long grass with things was a bit dodgy, but made it! Container needs replacing but log book dry enough to sign.
Scoping caches for our upcoming road trip to Armidale and noticed yours is in need of some TLC, but a maintenance report had not yet been sent to you. Hope it’s not too badly affected
Needs a new container, lid is damaged, contents will get wet, tried to cover as best I could. Thanks for this one, even though I went cross country to get this one.
Picking up some smileys while having a short break in Glen Innes on my trek back to QLD from the Mega. The log is soaked but I managed to sign it. the lid is cracked and the whole cache may need a bit of TLC. TFTC .
Probably should have put shoes on as it was quite hot and traipsing through the long grass in thongs was a bit dodgy. Anyway, got away with it. Was going to leave a travel bug but the cache was full of water. Emptied it out and signed the soggy log the best I could. Nice spot. TFTC

Thanks benandmel for placing this cache that brought us here today. What a lovely location. Geohubby spent a short time at the river throwing in a line but didn’t catch anything unfortunately. We then wandered up the track to find the cache. We were enormously surprised to find so many fruit trees on our walk. The grass was a little long in some places but we thumped our sticks and took our chances. What we did find was the cache. The lid has a cracked corner so has been a little messed up inside. It could do with a bit of love but I’m sorry to say we didn’t have anything with us. We are so glad you placed a cache here that brought us to this location. Thank you and wishing you a Happy New Year!
Wrote at the back of the notebook due to being a bit damp! TFTC! Pretty little walk among the daisies )
On the way back to Port Macquarie after spending a few days around Tenterfield.
We parked by the gate and walked to GZ, the cache was found quickly but we were unable to sign log as the container is in a poor condition and notepad is soaking wet. Needs some TLC.
Thanks for the cache
