I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi GYARGH
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Nice puzzle and quite close to where we will be staying - bother, it's been missing since last year and the CO is no longer active. Sadly, might be time to say goodbye to this cache?
I've had this in my solved pile waiting for November so I could use it for the monthly spelling challenge.
Unfortunately I didn't read the activity log until I was almost on top of GZ, and since I had taken the walk and was already there, I decided to hunt anyway, despite trusting the previous log.
Definitely no sign of the cache anymore, though plenty of signs that a cache may have been here- a pile of rocks at base of twin and a nail sticking out of one.
At least I had a decent walk today as had to park quite far away on a busy weekday.

A previous finder confirmed I was in the right place but there looked to have been a clearance around the hint feature. Perhaps the CCC have cleaned it up.
Did some driving and strolling around the neighbourhood while Mr i-gotit was tied up at a meeting. I thought that I would check up on this since it had been found since my DNF and sure enough it is still there. I have used this type of manipulation on one of my geocaches but it took more than a few moments to recognise what I needed to do here. Nice to get rid of the sad blue face although I've added a couple of more to my map today.
Had been taking family from Holland round South Island and home for New Year's Eve. Ducked out while they busy as wanted this cache for the M in December of another puzzle. Took a few goes before we got what looked like the right co ords. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Gyargh.
Having come across this sort of manipulation before it didn't take too long to get a set of coordinates that looked good on google maps
Today while visiting Christchurch I checked out a likely looking spot with no luck.
Today while visiting Christchurch I checked out a likely looking spot with no luck.
Have looked at this for 2 years on and off. It finally dawned what to do, and it's so easy! Quick walk today and a couple of minutes search - well hidden. TFTC and the 'DING' moment!
Found the letter box cache after a little searching, and signed its log following the tradition set by the previous cachers. TFTC
Found a container, signed the log. THEN I saw Mr Cuddly Brick's log and realised I'd signed the letter box log too. There were a number of cachers' usernames in there so it seems the confusion has been on going for a while. I'm pretty confident the correct cache is missing.

Had a good scout around 20 mins later elected to give another 5 mins then was going to dnf the gz.
Next minuet found a cache Whoop whoop I thought, hit the custom message button on the Spot Beacon and inReach. Opened up the Cache. The description of the cache didn't match the container but I thought that maybe the CO had dropped a new one and hasn't updated that part of the page...Ummm no it's a letterbox cache..but not on the geocaching site...mmmm what to do what to do...ok I'll log it as found and message the co and leave it to them.

Blast. Last time I attempted this there were workmen everywhere so I retreated. This time the way was clear and GZ appeared obvious. No cache though. Expanded my search while I waited for coords to settle but kept getting brought back to the same spot. I *think* I was thorough.
Solved this ages ago- and have been panicking in case it goes west!!! So today we were passing nearby- so had a nice little walk to find it. Was a bit worried because they are working on the area- but it turned out to be all ok. tftc
Quick manipulation after a couple of attempts, and then an even quicker find at GZ, TFTC
Co ords figured out at the puzzle popping party. With some help. I found this on the way to work as a park and grab but the parking bit is the tricky one. Lovely reserve actually despite traffic noise. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Solved a while ago after the hint quickly put me on the right track. I made a small detour to pick this one up after a nearby work delivery. I was relieved to make a quick find at GZ after just coming from a tricky DNF.
I cannot remember solving this cache as its has been stored in my phone over a year. Today I needed a cache and as it wasn't far away I called past and made a quick find. Thanks
Ha sometimes there's more than one way to skin a cat... With some deduced manipulation. Tftc
The puzzle was solved a long time ago, however I rarely visit this area. Was nearby with geodaughter visiting my hubby at work, so we went for a walk and geodaughter made a quick find. TFTC. Day #215
The hint was most helpful in solving this one and some likely co-ords were quickly revealed. It was even better these co-ords proved to be spot on. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
As usual, it was debsnz who came up with the co-ords and a quick find was made at GZ. Found with debsnz
It's amazing that you can look at a puzzle for so long and not get anywhere, and then when a previous finder gives you a bit of a hint, you kick yourself for being so blind. Yeah, this was one of those puzzled. Cache was a quick find after a nice walk in the afternoon sun. Thanks for the cache.
7/08/2014 2:54 pm Find #3611 I quite like this puzzle and its resolved GZ took me to a location I've never been to but often driven past not knowing this place existed and I was surprised to see how many good hiding places there were for it. I had to wait for the council grass cutters to move along before I could secure the find which lucky for me wasn't long. Thanks GYARGH.
I enjoyed this puzzle once I understood it. It was the perfect day to look for it too.
Out to collect a few caches on the southern motorway and Nosynel mentioned she had solved this one. Since we where passing would be rude not to stop to collect it. So a little search came up trumps. Cheers for the puzzle and cache.
Well I had a similar thing happened as in a previous log when I found something that I didn't expect. So I went away with nothing to re check and then saw the other log. So back I went today to look again and there it was. TFTH

I solved this cache very quickly one evening. I was looking at a cache to find for my daily find, and stumbled across this.
Very surprised I had actually never seen it before! Pretty close to home! How?! But clicked straight away, and had it solved within like 2 minutes.
For some reason though, I didn't find it that day... bookmarked, but forgot about.
Today, after work, we went out to the pub, and then needed to still find a cache for the day. Remembered about this one as I was cycling home, and decided to keep on cycling to it - only about 2km extra each way
Had a laugh as I was reading previous logs at the red lights - ah, L4TB's log... haha!
Arrived at GZ, and actually took a while to spot cache! It was in the last place I looked from the last side I looked!!
Got home like 3 hours later that usual, but at least I had already made dinner yesterday
Consec caching day #498

Solved this one so long ago that I can't remember how I did it. Anyway, was in this part of town today so thought I'd call in and pick it up. Soooo busy with cars round here. At times like these I am glad I have my little Yaris which can squeeze into small parking spaces!! TFTC.
Found this one after placing a cache within a meter of this cache's container. I tried to submit my new cycleway cache only to of course, get the email from the reviewer than I was within 161 m of another cache. The reviewer was probably thinking more like, "you are within 1 m of another cache, you dumba%*. So, with a helpful nudge, I solved the puzzle and laughed when I realized my mistake. I am glad that no one else had been looking for thsi cache as they might have found another container with a blank log. Bummer, that was a good hiding place. I hadnt realized this area was so saturated with caches! Back to the drawing board. Since I was in the area to retrieve my container, I thought it would be rude not to find this one. Cheers GYARGH for the cache!
A nice little puzzle and a reasonably straightforward find too. I got to take my bike down a pathway I'd often intended to explore but never found the time. So, thanks for the excuse to explore and thanks for the nice puzzle.
Slightly surprised to see it's nearly a year since found, but cache is all secure and in good condition. Enjoyed the puzzle, simpler than I initially thought but they're always 'easy' after the fact of course.

Appropriately my 600th find is from the same CO as my first. Solved many moons ago and now in a new office nearby so was able to pick up a smiley on my lunchtime walk. Thanks for the effort in the puzzle and hide.
ARGH another GYARGH puzzle that had me scratching my folically challenged head. Got a tip off from a buddy and had the coords in hand. On a wonderful spring afternoon nice stroll to GZ to claim the prize. Woohoo, hmm? What's this? Huh? I found a letterboxing cache?!? Went back to GZ and found the geocache. Put both back after signing and and left TB (in geocache). Left my passport at home for the letterbox. Thanks for the head scratcher!!!

155 - I had this one solved for a while but finally got around to picking it up. Thanks for the quick puzzle.
Had a little help with this one sometime ago and found again today to sign the log
Solved this one at home in preparation for our Mainland cache raid anda quick find once at GZ TFTC.
Kept this one ticking over in the background, not having much of a clue haow to start. Had an aha moment last night and it led me to the cache staight away. thanks for the the challenge, which in hind sight was pretty straightforward. Cache collected from a quiet but busy gz!
Been ignoring this one for a long time. Thought it would be to difficult for us to work out. A wet day and we sat down and found we could solve it after all. TFTC
Parked in Annex, seems a reasonable direction to approach from, and happy to find quite quickly on this chilly afternoon. Solved in 2009, so about time I found it!
Enjoyed manipulating the numbers, an odd hobby for an accountant. An easy find before seeking out some dinner. TFTC.
TFTC. I had a over complicated approach to this problem, However I received a little nudge about how to look at the problem and the fog cleared. I was surprised to find twin caches at the twin vegatation.
Manipulated the numbers a while ago and came up with the goods. Finally managed to stop by today and go for a wander and collect the cache. Busy place and only goingto get even more so soon! TNLN Thanks
Overthinking the manipulation far too much - got it in the end with some help. Went to location and found TWO cache containers! The first one I found was a letterbox cache from something called atlasquest.com (never heard of it) then less than a meter away was the one I was looking for. I did briefly think I had worked out co-ordinates wrong and it was a massive coincidence that the other one was there! Anyway good puzzle - TFTC
A wet day, but still a few muggles and their dogs about. Found be Mr C. The manipulation is part of a game our family plays . TNLN, TFTC.
Picked this one up on a roadie ride with ecfam.
Nice & Easy - just where it should be.

Worked out the puzzle pretty quickly and then redid yesterday as I was finaly going to go get the cache today. No problems in retrieval but I do wonder if the motorists take any notice of people on the edge of the motorway as it was pretty busy today. TFTC
solved puzzle the other week. Lovely day for a mornings walk with the family...quick easy find.
Solved the problem a while ago - hardest part was getting to it and walking to it when Little G wanted to throw a cricket ball - had dog in one hand GPS and clues in the other ! Mind you he did score 67 yesterday in his second game of hard ball so I cant pour water on his enthusiam !
Did the Manipulations back in Auckland, out for an early morning walk to make the find. Nice easy find with the hint. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

Popped out this evening for some cache finding and cache finding it was, three for three.
My first ever cache! Yay! I had known about geocaching for years (found out from a Girl Scout/Boy Scout family I worked with at summer camp near Nashville, TN but never had the chance to go with them), then found BK&J to show me how it is done. BK&J gave me the puzzle to solve, which apparently I did correctly as we managed to find the cache in an area I drive past most days. Thanks.
Out with a friend (LittleTuiBird - we think that's her account!) that had long known about Geocaching but never had the opportunity to go. Decided to throw her in at the deep end and give her a puzzle to solve. Came up with a likely answer and as it turned out she did everything right. TFTC.

After some quick manipulation, the puzzle was easily solved. A quick find with Yeetrees and maklacycle. Many thanks Gyargh, now for those pesky maths ones.

Solved by and found with YuGeo4 and also found with maklacycle, a nice little spot for the final cache site, THANKS, TFTC TNLNSL (1180)
Lovely spot. TNLN. The solving of this puzzle took me back to the old maths text for F2's, known as Adamson and Turner. This method was offered as away of " proving" an addition equation. The cache was infinitely more interesting!!! Thank you.
Solved the puzzle a while ago, just been waiting to come this way to mark off this find.TFTC
Another straightforward puzzle, and an easy find at accurate coordinates, with a good hint if needed. TFTC

A nice quick stroll after the puzzle was solved scored me this cache. I retrieved the compass GC and dropped in the rose GC. There are not many roses here but I am sure it will make friends with the native flora. TFTC
Solved the puzzle a little while and have been awaiting the opportunity to visit. #6 find on today's cyclocache ride of the city's SW 'burbs. - Path Tag Sherpa geocoin. Thanks for the cache.
Nice simple puzzle - nice quick find with not many people about. Cheers Gav [4395]
2856. Set out for some caching this morning with Stella (3yrs). She had her "motorbike" with her so we tried to be creative in the way we approached so that she could have a good ride. She loved this one - downhill, uphill, tunnel, path, grass - everything a 3 year old and a motorbike could long for. And she was able to take the GPS at the end, count down the numbers and reach for the cache. Thanks for the fun.
We left 2 coins and took the car coin and the Maddison TB with us.
Thanks

The whole haldane clan headed out for a spot of night caching tonight (nothing on telly). Happy to have manipulated this one to a successful conclusion. Swapped travellers and set off. TFTC.
Came back today to drop in some coins I didn't have yesterday (especially "First to Find Version 2 Geocoin").
#886 (FTF 22). Quickly solved the puzzle last night (have unsuccessfully tried this technique on a number of puzzle caches; pleased that it eventually did solve a puzzle). Not motivated enough to go out last night, so pedalled of at lunch to see if I could still be FTF. Quite a few muggles wandering around but was a quick find, that revealed an empty log book. TFTC.

We arrived home from dining out last night to find 3 new ChCh caches had been published 2 hours previously, and none had yet to be logged as found. Where is everyone?
StreetWalker seems to have gone off the idea of night caching after an abysmal attempt last Friday, so we decided to do solo efforts in daylight today. After sussing out the final on google maps, I arrived at GZ after work (it's "sort of" on the way home), only to find that the Etrex was insistent that the cache was 1.8km away. Doh! Used the hint and did spot a likely candidate but only found what looked like eggs stuck in a hole. Most bizarre.
Luckily I had the co-ords of some nearby caches loaded to compare with my dud ones, so decided which number was most likely the wrong one and changed that. Voila! Cache 40m away. Easy find after that.
Thanks for another challenging cache, Gyargh.
