With many DNF's, no apparent response from the CO following several NM logs & not found since Jan 2105 I think it's time this one was archived.
4 of us went for a walk to GZ...we were in the area anyway...with 4 sets of eyes including 1 previous finder the cache was not located...
Unfortunately we had to add our names to the list of DNFs
Thanks for the hide Sydneykiwi
Thanks for the hide Sydneykiwi
Like others, found a very likely place that it would have been hidden, but could not find it! May need to be checked if it is still there
Was down at Pt Elliot yesterday, found some caches nearby but this one eluded me. No successful finds of this cache since 30th January 2015. Can the owner please confirm the cache is still valid, replace or archive this listing.
Searched with previous finder
No sign of the cache
Lots of things changed around GZ

After spendind some time here searching for this cache, and with the amount of dnf's before me. Its time the co had a look at this one.
Came down after work at goolwa for a quick cache, which i found at the entrance leading to this one.. seeing the multiple dnf's i decided to take a stroll down for the veiws and have a good look around gz also. No luck for me. Beautiful day though so that makes it a little easier to log a dnf on this. Time for the co to make a move here also!.
Found the bushes, found some rocks, found footprints but did not find the cache. Will try again another time
There's a tree that's recently come to pieces at the coordinates and between all the creeper entangled remains and weeds we couldn't spot it
Gps was about 20 metres out And cache was trashed. Took out the unmentionables and signed the log. TFTC!
Found while walking around during the nearby seaside event. Watched the nearby surfers who were catching waves very near to the shore. TFTC Sydneykiwi!
It's a busy place today being a long weekend and it's school holidays too. I am not crossing that grass & vegetation after seeing a snake in the past 24hrs. Found very easily after walking around to the other track. Stopped to take in the views, snap some photos & wait for the muggle holidaymakers to walk away from view. The fisherman were to busy looking out to sea. Great spot.

Took longer than expected due to the winter growth of weeds! We enjoyed our walk along the beach while looking for whales and then off for a lovely dinner in VH SL TFTC
We continued our walk from Port Elliot on a fine sunny morning...well it was for about an hour till the rain blew in. A beautiful quiet and scenic headland. TFTC Sydneykiwi.
During the Seaside Five event we had a special event cache to find, on my way there I did a few normal caches and this was one of them.
I have to admire the view from here, as I was heading back the the event I came across a few more cachers and took them here to get it as well.

Quick find in a lovely part of pt Elliot just a short walk from the caravan and camping park. TFTC
Pulled up at the entrance to the park and wondered why all the cars were parked along the road at 6:00am [?].
Strolled out to the cache, taking lots of photos on the way . A very nice spot [^].
Definitely the wrong time of year for whales [:o)]. TNLNSL.
Hardly saw anyone on our our walk - what gives [?].
Thanks Sydneykiwi & family.

Nice walk to this one, sad to see all the dead and dying birds on the beach. Found while on family comp to find the most in 2 hours, tftc
Found on a pleasant caching day out with friends. Split into 3 teams the object was to find as many of 16 caches as possible around Port Elliot in 2 hours before heading to the pub for lunch.
This was our last cache for the day, running out of time to do the last 2 on the list and we need to get back to the starting point to regroup with the other teams. Of concern was a lot of dead sea birds on the beach that we saw on the pleasant walk here. I will report it to the local park staff. SL TFTC Sydneykiwi and family!

What a great spot. Greysurfer1 and I decided to give up when GPS said 31 metres. Mmmm maybe thongs weren't the best footwear option lol.
We were staying at the nearby caravan park and enjoying a lazy afternoon on the beach at Crockery Bay. I decided to leave Mrs Windy Archer soaking up the sun and go and grab a couple of caches. This was a pretty easy find, though definitely brown snake territory, so I took a decidedly cautious approach!! Thanks Sydneykiwi
We were in the area and had a bit of time to kill before an appointment so what better way to spend it than a bit of caching.
Roadie1 had spent a bit of his youth in this area, but it was a first visit for me. Its a really nice area.
Thanks Sydneykiwi for bringing us here.

Pearler day, ocean was magnificent blue, dead 8ft shark on rocks was on the wrong side of fresh. A quick find after the easy walk.

Missed nautilus by a little to day. Now the rain has started its time to find the car
We headed down South to try and spot a Whale or two, the spotting was not very good today - however I did manage to convince the family that we might get a better view down the path .. where? .. A little bit closer to where the cache is.
I found it in the second place I looked, and then hinted to Little Miss HGL that she might want to search under there! .. Nice find and a lovely location on a cool winters day (when it was not raining). Little Miss and HGL Jnr both signed the log along with myself.
Thanks Sydneykiwi for a lovely stroll and hide.

When I got to near GZ, I was hoping that the 'r' stood for Rosemary, as very wet, knee high clover made searching anywhere but near the Rosemary bush difficult. Alas, it wasn't to be, so it took quite a bit of random feeling before locating the correct 'r'

Walked from Surfs Up! around to here - nice day for it. Had a sprinkling of rain but still quite pleasant. Had this one in hand pretty quickly, even after looking in the wrong spot initially! TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found while staying at nearby camp. Had cache in hand when people started coming to cache site. They asked me if i had found it then i knew they were cachers as well
300413 1800 met other catcher while finding this cache. Yelled from a distance have you found it? We had a chat and then moved on.

I thought I found this by accident, but reading the other peoples finds...I am not sure. Was it in a white Ice cream container quite close by the car park? Or was that a decoy Cache?
This was one of our favourite caching days. We started our trek on the other side of Port Elliot at around 10am and got home to Victor at around 5pm that afternoon sore, thirsty and tired, but it was all worth it! We've been to so many places through Geocaching that we would have never gone to before. Amazing weather, trails and quality time spent with the best caching partner! TFTC!
Geocaching with Braveheart17 over the past few months in the Fleurieu area. Only just logging them all now, sorry. Love the hides and the adventures, thanks to all for the hunts. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Nice little decoy close by but found it after a little further searching.

took a bit of time to find this one, a little wary of snakes. Beautiful spot and great views.

Found while walking from Middleton to Pt Elliot with The Easter Bunnys. Fabulous weather for beating around the bush. Lots of interesting information given around that area now. Great views. TFTC
We'd seen some whales off Basham's Beach earlier in our trip so that was a bonus. Found the cache quickly and easily. Thanks.
Nice walk along trail to beach. Overgrown area with soursobs but after making our way into the bush we eventually found it. TFTC
TFTC Sydneykiwi.... found this before going to Chickens first coords to get 2nd coords for it
Found with Ladybug & the Cockroaches and The Water Scorpions on a lovely day at the beach

The views are gorgeous from here. Was a little cautious of snakes due to being a warmish day but didnt see any tftc
On Australia Day at 8;10pm. Learnt to use the electronic compass on Android phone with this cache. Thanks for the sea cliff walk. Long grass in area could be snakes in the warmer months. Thanks.
