A DNF for baby&Mrs gopher this morning. Checked all the likely places but no.
Found a very likely hidey spot, but no cache!! Did search a bit further afield, but decided to leave it for another day.
Some great history here, thanks Garfield69au

We were out on a cache expedition today and this was our second stop. We pulled up just off the highway near the GZ. A short walk through the cemetery and was at the GZ. in a matter of no time we had the cache in our hands and signed the log book. TNLN TFTC Garfield69au
Out and about in sunny Toowoomba today with jimmyproject, membsec, BC, and IolantheK doing a spot of caching after attending the A "Toowoomba Catch Up." the previous night. After a sumptuous breaky at "The Pump @ 123" (highly recommend [^]) we made a start, did a few caches and fair-welled membsec and BC.
Down the range and up towards Murphys Creek and up the range again and into the Highfields cache area.
Arrived at GZ and pretty well knew where to look Found and signed the log.
Marveled at this location which is in remarkably good condition and the amazing tree with its blooming huge flowers [^]
The cache is dry and in good conditon
We then continued a-caching [^]

We love the history of a cemetery cache and were glad this was on the list of caches to share with IolanthK & T-tech after an event the night before.
T-tech jaunted over the fence, while I staidly headed around to the gate leaving the other two to chat outside. Log was soon signed and a quick walk back checking out some of the locals and we were on our way, a very pleasant day in Toowoomba. TFTC.

Out and about with T-Tech and jimmyproject on the day after Brother Colin's Event in Toowoomba
This was our last one together for the day. I do like visiting cemeteries and always wish I had more time to explore. T-Tech headed in to make the find and was followed by Ms jp, while Mr jp and I lounged on the outside of the fence. The flowers on the tree were in full bloom and quite magnificent An easy find before we headed our separate ways. TFTC, Garfield69au.

9416 kms travelled in 21 days, one awesome eclipse observed near Mt Carbine in Northern Queensland and 712 cache finds, including a small handle of FTF's.
This was a trip I'd been planning for over 12 months with the main reason being to observe the solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th of November. I had decided to drive to Palm Cove and back, where my penthouse accommodation was located, while the rest of the family flew up and back. I love the drive and the unknown adventures that lay ahead; and I even think the last time I did one this big may have been for the previous eclipse in Australia which occurred over SA.
Apart from the great experiences, awesome scenery, and the characters met, the other reason to drive was to also do some serious caching, with the plan to stop at some power trails along the way including the Fruit Run and A.S. series near Stanthorpe on the way up and the Mid North Coast Wander series, just out of Port Macquarie, on the way back.
I had five days to travel each way with ten days in between spent in Palm Cove holidaying with my family. My route up took me from Melbourne to Tocumwal and up to Glenn Innes, through Toowoomba, Rockhampton and the coast road to Cairns while my route back was a bit more erratic. Heading from Cairns to Townsville then via Charters Towers to Rockhampton. From here it was through the amazing mining region to Roma then across to Dalby down through Stanthorpe (again) to Armidale, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Tocumwal and then home - phew.
Today I finished off the fruit run cache series in Stanthorpe and picked up a few other caches along the way before continuing north at about 1:00 pm, heading for Rockhampton. I got as far as Goomeri where I stayed the night. If I had a dollar for every cemetery cache I have done, well I could at least buy a slab of beer. These places are always fascinating to visit, especially the older pioneer ones. A nice quick find before continuing on my way.

Nice quick park and grab which was good as the geokids were getting restless and wanted an icy pole break. Why must they interrupt mummy's geocaching lol

Went for a quick bike ride to find this one. Intriguing little spot, always wanted to visit, but never had a reason before. Left an army man, was going to take the TB but I'll be away for a few weeks and won't be able to visit any new caches. Will move him onward if he's still there when we get back.

Interisting history of some early dwellers in the area. Located cache took small toy left TB. TFTC.
Beautiful Sunday drive to Crows Nest took us to this cache hoping to get a TB. But alas none was to be found. Left a skull. TFTC.
This was next on my radar. I do enjoy a cemetery cache - particulary a respectful one such as this. No-one to be seen as I neared GZ. I found the cache after a bit of a hunt. It is in good condition. I dropped in a trackable. Certainly some history in here. TFTC Garfield69au and the Downey Clan

Our 5050th overall find.
We pulled in here nice and early this morning on our way to Bundaberg. Shell got a bit tangled up on the wrong side of the fence but once we had that sorted we found the cache without any issues.
Thanks to Garfield69au for the cache.

Did a quick drive-by past this one to let geomum & aunty find this one on their own . . . And it was dark too We picked up GC "Crikey" to take him on a little adventure.
gotta love the sign at the front of the graveyard. Left Crikey there to kick of his journey.
Nice easy find made on an early morning exploration of the area. Certainly some interesting old headstones! TNLN TFTC
An hour to kill whilst waiting for someone to widen a driveway so that I could deliver a container gave me the opportunity to grab this one. A nice easy cache in top condition. I took the plastic medallion and left one of my yellow flowers. SLTFTC.
