We wree heading back from successfully finding [GC1YFKD ...and another point](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC1YFKD_and-another-point) and couldn't pass up grabbing this one too. M managed to squeeze our rather large 4WD into the recommended parking spot and we headed up, and up, and up until we reached GZ. While he waited and puzzled over the hint, I headed in following my flaky phone GPS. All too soon I understood the hint (and no, we 're no good at crosswords either). I stamped the log book, returned everything to it's place and returned to M on the path. We're definitely coming back here to walk this track. Preferably at the start of the day, not the end like we did today. Thanks for find #6414TNLN

Tftc. A quick find after a decent walk from the pools. With no water, no top and only thongs on my feet (typical Aussie amarite?) I had to head back after this one. Cheers for an adventure.

Another stop while visiting caches along the Freestone Creek road. A short walk up and around, then off the track to approach GZ. Was a little bemused by the cache-placement but managed to find it without too much problem, deciphering the clue did help.

03-Nov-13
Found with Team Macca and new geo-friends MandE Broady. Made a few swaps and left extras to reduce Team Macca's trinkets box. Also a geocoin I've been hanging on to for way too long (sorry, Keepers of Time), so long that maybe they de-registered it? Tracking number not showing up in the trackables database Sad Perhaps next visitors will have better luck logging it?

22-Sep-13
Raining in sale, beautiful here. GPS has us going in circles which the geohounds loved as it gave them more time to explore. Thanks for bringing us here. Tnln tftc

Day off. So I decided to catch up on adding to my cache finds. But flying solo as rest of clan is at school/work. Very warm day, so luckily I went alone.

I parked near bridge and walked from there. Nice short walk, so peaceful and quiet.

Crikey !! One last hill to struggle over [xx(]
It wasn't too much of a hill as it turned out and I was soon on the trail of the cache Razz
This trail is a much better option than walking along the road [^]
TFTC.

Very pretty spot along here. The family decided it was a race up this rise, so took off at a great rate of knots from the car. Quite funny to watch, and sure enough GZ was soon found. Even found a nice soft seat to sit on briefly. Took TB. Thanks Elmer Stratty for directing us along this way.

31-Jan-10
Not the best of days to tackle this cache, it was very hot and quite a few muggles about at Blue Pools. But.... we did it. Parked the mobile home as close as we dare and walked (climbed) the short distance to cache. Climb or descend was our quandry when nearing GZ, we picked correctly. Many thanks for the cache we enjoyed the challenge. Took Michelin Man and left Autumn Leaves Geocoin to enjoy an East Gippland early Autumn

Number 3 on my little hike today. Weather was better than I expected. I have walked
just about all of Track 96 over the last couple of years. Even been up where the
General is now hiding. It's a track that should be used more often. Maybe a few
more caches along it will bring visitors to it. Anyhow the gps didn't want to make
this an easy find this afternoon. Had to stand and think Hmmm "Where's a sneaky
spot". Sure enough there it was in its hidey hole. Great cammo Elmer. T-$200
L- Keychain Thanks for this cache.

1230h. Some local gold fossickers had parked in the suggested parking spot but luckily there's an old quarry nearby with heaps of room. Walking back along the road I was questioned by some muggles that were using their car GPS. They were wondering if the road went to Canberra. I quickly put told them to turn around unless they wanted to spend along day getting lost. Just goes to show you still need a map or a general idea of the area, just don't follow the GPS blindly. Did this one along with a 'another point'. Don't know if the 'with envy' hint will last the summer. I rearranged the cover to make it look more natural. With some attention to detail its an easy spot.
