Found with the mighty SCG! Made up of the legendary crew of ToyHunters, albida33, Aykayem, baristayan, KittyKatch, Joolay, Contesta, Sebass19 and Flintstones.
Made our way over here after finding MM #38 and a lunch stop. KittyKatch and Baristayan reeled it in at ground zero…what a magnificent spot. Thanks!

Today a planed hike under the group name SCG (Sunday caching group). I had not walked this area but was keen finally come here. It ended up a very nice not too long walk of just under 6km and 240m alleviation gain, which took us about 2.5h with breaks. A nice coffee afterwards and a shout out to the organizers.
Quick find with many eyes, in beautiful nature with steep sides alle around here. Worthy cache spot.
Thank you rhino3004 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases

Out caching with my walking buddies today down in South Canberra. Found with albida33, Toy Hunters, Joolay, sebas, Flinstones, akayem, contesta, baristayan, and buckoraider. Signed as SCG (Sunday Caching Group). No log book - cachers have been signing the gc info sheet. We put a notebook in a baggy and popped it in the container. Thanks for the hide rhino3004
A public holiday means some caching. Trekking around Conder - Banks hills.

Found this one coming down the hill - hard on the knees, but less tiring. Thank you!
My goodness this was a tough 200m-odd climb from the GZ of Yacuruna. One of those hills that just deceptively keep going up and up! Really enjoyed the climb though - once I got my breath back at the top. TFTC rhino3004.
Out for a walk to regain fitness after Nose surgery. I hate heaps rocks everyhwere make me Puff Puff.. Not eough fits.... Nice walk and great views with FFLL.. thanks
Out and about with ALL7 this morning collecting some mountain goat caches. I don't think I have seen so many rocks on a hill. Made for some searching at some of them.
Weather was misty rain so there was no chance of us getting warm this morning. But retired to doing lab caches in the afternoon which were a little more easier going. Need to work on that hill climbing fitness!
Hard walk is right but nice views.
Thanks for the hide rhino3004 and thanks for the fun ALL7.

Not the best day for a walk, but I came out here to stretch my legs within a legally acceptable nearness to my home.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Damn hard climb up these Rob Roy hills. Fences are a pain too. A few decoy hides threw me off the scent for a bit.
Sometimes the difference between finding a cache and not finding a cache is perspective. After a previous unsuccessful search for this one, we looked down at things from another angle and found it in under a minute. Thanks for the cache and giving us a good work out getting here. Certainly lives up to its name!
Big day bushwalking
A pretty enjoyable day out with Pete
Quite a hot day but we are glad we have plenty of water
Merry christmas everyone!

Found with Teeven on a very hilly kinda day. Went to big monks first, then here, severely underestimating the climbs on both.
A GCA cache here, and two GC caches.. then a very interesting descent. Seems like the southern side doesn't get too much sun!

Saturday 8 October 2016 - an overcast cool Spring afternoon at 20 degrees. Rode bike and walked for 1h 46m over 3hrs for 6km to find 10 from 10 caches AND just surpassed 2,000 cache finds - yeah! Enjoyed watching the kangaroos and seeing a large echidna that wondered across the path. Thx p2p. TFTC Bronnie_1990.
Came down from the top to this nice rocky knoll. Cache found OK once the GPS settled..
Thanks

Descended from Eagle Mountain to grab Rocky Mountain. Two mountains in one morning! There seemed to be a lot of potential hiding spots so I put my gear down and prepared for a long search. 30 seconds later I had CIH!

A bit of caching on a lovely early winter’s day. Trip report at http://www.johnevans.id.au/wp/13-june-2016-off-track-in-the-deep-south-suburbs-of-the-act/ . Thanks for the opportunity and location to appreciate the lovely views. TFTC.
After starting the day with three DNFs (2 missing; 1 tricky) this was a satisfyingly easy find in a great spot. Well worth a visit. TFTC
The first straightforward find of the day! A beautiful place on a perfect morning. TFTC
A morning hike up and around Tuggeranong Hills to grab the remaining caches we couldn't get last time. Nice cool weather made for a relatively easy walk, and despite not finding a few (muggled...) we had a great time. Even the woofer enjoyed herself.
An easy climb up, a quick find, and some bush bashing to get back down. Nice and peaceful up here. TFTC!

Bush Bashed up the side of the hill to the summit. Great views towards Rob Roy. Decided to log this one on the way down. Sitting on the huge rock near GZ, I was lucky enough to catch a good look at Mr Wallaby and his mates jumping by. Cheers

Now that we've moved house into Conder, I get to climb these hills every day (our house backs on to the bush)!! This is the second mountain I've climbed in this area.
We left our house and started trekking along the small trails at the base of the mountain. Once the path didn't help us anymore, we started hiking straight up the hill. There were a lot of spiderwebs strewn across the trees that we nearly walked into. They all housed orb weavers of some sort.
Once we hit thicker vegetation, travel became a bit slower. Up rocks, logs and wet undergrowth we scaled. We finally arrived at GZ and found the cache quite quickly. What a beautiful spot! We signed the logbook and I dropped off a TB.
Our thanks to rhino3004!!

Spent the day geocaching around Theodore and Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve. Visited 21 caches plus several waypoints on multis, collected 4 trackables, walked 15.2 kilometres and ascended 581 metres. Some really good caches amongst these. TFTC.
We trudged across from nearby Eagle Mountain? and saw a great rainbow on the way.
An easy find and the view was good in amongst the trees!
Thanks for bringing us to this great spot.

I wish we'd come from the other side and made things a little easier on ourselves - at least there's very little possibility of this cache being muggled! Found this one then moved on to Eagle Mountain. TFTC
Tftc.. beautiful view! Hard work walking all the way up to the rocky mountain! Took TB and drop other TB off. With dragon1982

No-one had signed the log since Boot65 in October last year. I guess the steepness of the hill keeps people away. I wanted some exercise and certainly got it on the way up here.
On the return from the next neighbouring cache we ran into AmethystPig here. It was fun meeting another Geocacher. TFTC.

Found @ 1500 - between winter & work my caching has suffered somewhat recently, so when SirJ-Oz sent me a list of all the D/T combos I haven't found yet I decided to get back into the swing of things, especially as I couldn't use the weather as an excuse today. It was also a good chance to test the new phone - so far so good, which is a relief as I didn't have any sort of backup plan in place.
A nice quick find with everything in good order - signed the log, took a figurine & dropped off a pathtag and one of RapidlyWild's kisses that has been waiting to move for far too long! Thanks for the cache rhino3004

given the name I thought the terrain would be terrible but nope, quite easy and beautiful country side to enjoy on the way. tftc
1321. The geopup and I headed to this one from the Theodore direction and enjoyed the stroll with all the kangaroos. A quick find once at GZ. TFTC.
I headed down from the cache on the top of the hill. On the way there was a herd of kangaroos who hopped away when I came closer (very Jurassic Park), except for one who watched me very closely but stayed his ground, so I carefully walked around him.
I approached GZ, seeing many areas with potential. With the iPhone showing 10m I spotted the cache in a likely spot (if not fully matching the hint), so I TNLNSL. I then headed down the hill, eventually finding a path that didn't have thorns and provided a way through the fence and back to civilisation. TFTC!

Found on a nice windy day. After a long hard walk up the hill, the cache was soon in hand. A very nice view from up here. TNLN. Thanks rhino3004![:o)]
My second cache for the day, I walked directly up the side of the hill. Once a got to the top my GPSr was messing up and couldn't locate me properly, but I finally found the cache after about 20 minutes of searching. TFTC!!
Nice day for a slog up this hill. Took the direct route up which was fun... Found the cache exposed so covered up after signing the log. TFTC
Lovely early morning walk to watch the sun rise over the Lanyon Valley, Great spot. Thanks R.
4612. [font=Century Gothic][green]I wasn't able to get up here on the day RexTrex and Mr Winglen found this one - nearly 2 years ago, so today was the day to head up and grab it. Wandered over from Two Two and went over the top. As it turns out it would have been easier going through the saddle. Got to GZish and started cursing the line [navy]"but this time I made it a bit harder to find"[/navy]. Luckily after a couple of minutes there it was - mostly uncovered. Re-hid it after the logging duties and now back to the car.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Logged a did not find on this one, the previous log entry, Dec 10, stated the cache had been muggled. No indication that it has yet been replaced.
This was supposed to be the first for the day. After looking around for a bit I read the last log entry...muggled at the end of 2010 and yet to be replaced. This one might need to be archived.
Well we found the container, but in two parts with no contents: obviously muggled. As the container was also broken, we retrieved it from the GZ - happy to return to owner if required, but it can't really be re-used.
Last find for the day after tramping over hill and dale. Great location and recommend coming over the hill rather than slogging it directly up the side. Oddly enough the serenity of this spot was boken by the sounds of people mowing their lawns. Bugger me look at the time, that reminds me geo-wife is not with us today - she's back home and do you think she'll mow the lawn.... Thanks rhino3004 for a great cache. TFTC
Was a long steep walk up the hill. I found the cache, but we forgot to bring swaps with us this time. We didn't get to walk up to the other cache this time, but we'll be back another time. Stopped to pick some paper daisies on the way down, and saw a lot of kangaroos! Thanks
This hill is a bit steeper than I remember it being. Have been up this way a couple of times in the past, and I don't think it's getting any easier. Didn't help that I had to give a 18kg geokid a piggyback for bits of it. Used to be so much easier carting him up mountains when he was smaller! But thankfully it was only a brief period of piggybacking today... Great walk up the hill for our only cache today, got the old blood pumping. Thanks for the good walk!
Although I wasn't keen to go caching today, it was little t-rex 05 enthusiasm that convinced me to go. Was a steep/long walk with the two geokids. Myself and t-rex 05 went for a little tumble on the way up but we just dusted ourselves off and kept going. The walk was worth it as when we finally arrived to GZ i found the view at the top was fantastic! Just the one cache today, which was probably a good as the littlest geokid was well and truly ready to go home. TFTC!
Reperio at 1345. Picked up this one one the way down from 'Eagle Mountain', and at looking at the terrain leading up here, I was grateful that I'd chosen a different route heading up. Rocks seemed to be the theme for the day, as every find barring one has been hidden in rocks.
Gratias.
Gratias.
Did this first and then on to Eagle Mountain. GPS led me astray a bit, searched nearby until working out where it was...thanks.
Ok so I didn't read the logs on this one and well, was a little tired when I got to the GZ but wow, nice view on the way to another cache with a higher view. TFTC and love the log book, very cute
Picked thisa one up on the way down form Eagle mountain. Great views over Tuggers.
3rd with Jusojara. Thought we get the nearby cache first and get this one on the way down. Think we did this in the right way, as this one was a easy pickup on the way down to the car. Got to gz and found the cache quickly acouple of roos jumped out of the way when we got to gz. Nice views TFTC
Mr_roo and I grabbed this one after Eagle Mountain a little further up. I think we planned these two in the right order, ascending from the north and then descending to this one and back to the Geomobile. Once we arrived at GZ we made a nice quick find, even it we did disturb mr_roo's cousins.
