Co-ords appeared to be in the road but we searched everywhere including rummaging through the bins! Definitely seems to be missing. Time to check it.
Hoping for a quick drive through on way back to Wellie but no luck - will watch logs & try again
This was the 3rd attempt, and have to confess friends put me out of my misery and told me where to look. However it just didn't seem to be there - muggled? or is this cache my nemesis?
Found on second try- looked on the wrong side! Took US cent left NZ 5cent TFTC. Geodatum.
Keen to do this one as we put a FE cache down 6years ago in New Plymouth. Looking in the cache I see times are tough! TFTC

Quick stop. Liked that the cache was well placed and easy to get discreetly.

A quick stop on my road trip north to Auckland. Good hide for cache. Dropped in a couple of Australian coins. TFTC, Biggles.
Muggles nearby but the cache placement nmade a quick grab possible without arousing any suspicion. TNLN TFTC
Arrived at GZ searched, searched some more, Seattle's Best came up with the goods on this one. Great area. Thanks for bringing us here! TFTC!

Getting dark and didn't have the clue. But didn't find it - despite honest effort.
Nice log book! Love the photos . Hope you've enjoyed your time in Levin. TFTC

What a beauty! Checked the bottom first, then took the clue literally and found it. Don't the council workers ever find it?
Much easier coming back from the North, and when then is no-one else around. Cache was loose, and nearly lost! Replaced it properly Cheers Gav [4940]
Found with Little Blue Hen.Couldn't do this last week early morning 6am as there was a truck resting next to the GZ. Nailed on way home with no one around.TFTC
A quick stop.
There was a guy towing a race car and taking a nap in the truck cab when a group of teens sped through in a car blowing police whistles. He got so startled when he woke up he fell out onto the road when opening the door. Hilarious and sad at the same time.

Were very stealth like and grabbed this from under the noses of muggles! Waited for our window and put it back the same way! Nice hide, did a coin swap.
I like the foreign currency theme to this one as I collect foreign coins. Swapped a couple.
2nd person to sign log book today.
Quick easy find, took nothing - left nothing.

Luckily managed to pull up right next to it. GPS though told us to look in the opposite direction.

Mad dash from the ferry to here, doing only two caches and leaving a couple which were on the wrong side of the road. Arriving at our lodgings Jr 6.5 noted a nearest cache at 130m. After negotations to get ourselves sorted and moved into our temporary home first, we walked to the cache. GPS not helpful, so used clue - then very quick find after Mrs B pointed out the obvious. TFTC!
found quickly enough with the clue, as no-one about. Good hide. Swapped a coin for a coin, & a second coin for a pet rock - a possum
Nice park. fairly newly mown, so no dog pooh or else careful doggie owners. Cute Doggie water fountain! Easy find. Picked up Bookcrossing tiny book to read to grand daughter will place in new cache. left a plastic insect.TFTC
A very clever hide and not what I was expecting at all.
A rather popular rest spot for drivers, always seems to be someone here when I drive by but not tonight luckily for me.

Approaching GZ and a van pulls up and a tribe of muggles pile out and light up their fags. The second time today I've been thwarted by tobacco smoking muggles.
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 285. Thanks.
Finally got around to this one . Quick find thanks. (Clever.....hope it lasts).

Easy Peszy TFTC. Interesting coins. +NZ coin (as it seemed there was not a local coin in it)
Parked next to GZ and spotted a likely spot for the cache. However, GPSr said that the cache was a few meters away so wandered there only to turn up empty. Came back to original spot. had a thought and a look and there it was! A cunning hide indeed. Thanks, SixHix.
I love the theme of this cache. I'm a bit of a coin collector. Had a look Friday but camper was having lunch right on the spot so to speak, so came back today and did some exchanging. TFTC.
After stopping by earlier in the day just as a carful of muggles were setting up for a picnic overlooking GZ, we returned to make this find before heading home for the day. Unfortunately we didn't have any appropriate coins this time, so just signed the log.
#258. Deja vu - did the original cache before it got archived. Good to see the cache back in action. Nice hide too, SL, TFTC. -skateboard, -butterfly clip, +1 cent, +game token.
Placeholder: After encountering muggles at The Gardener, all I found here just after 9pm was a flyer for The Full Monty!
Note to self, find the cache, then take photos! TWO Muggles arrived just before the hunt was due to start, just after I had taken the photo of thr Gardener. It was 8.50pm and they would not piss off so will return soon! Moved onto this one quickly, and emerged 0 from 2 from Levin tonight.

Find No. 2 on a trip to Wanganui. Nearly missed this one, then J had another thought and sure enough there it was. TFTC

Nice little hide. Out- Mexican dollar, in- Tokyo disneyland coin (pressed), butterfly. Sorry I didn't relise this was a coin only cache until now. I also placed Hampsterus Magnus (travel bug) in this cache as the poor little dude was stuck in my own cache for nearly a month. I thought this would be a great place to send him on his way.
Cool spot, my wee boy was quite taken with the bullet case and put his toy skateboard in in exchange - sorry, didn't realise was supposed to be coins only. TFTC.

Practiced some trash in, cache out. Nice collection of foreign coins here, no exchanges made.

Stopped off and had a look on the way south this afternoon, was short on time and with my GPSr giving me a GZ in the middle of the parking lane there was to many spots to look in the time available. did'nt turn out to be the quick drive by grab I was expecting. Will stop for another look on another occasion when I have more time.
stopped to add a writing utensil and a couple of greenbacks. Had to swap geocoins as well!
wahoo FTF moments before heading off to himatagi, spotted this log so had to make the detour first to levin.I loved the clue found nice and quick. placed cache wright in corner to avoied getting knocked off. loged 9.35 pm.

Only 250 m away from home!!! Noted the listing for this about twenty minutes ago -- about three hours late to beat Paul 303 for the FTF. Congratulations Paul! Great to see this re-instated and in a much better spot than previously with spot-on coordinates. A very cunning hide yet easy to find for anyone who knows to look for it. SL TNLN TFTC.
