Walking by on 15 January 2011. Went to point out location to Mrs Smoothhound. The location is completely different to what it was. The"hiding" place is now in full view. Looked around for the cache but seems it's been relocated or muggled
With a bit of time on my hands after some christmas shopping, I chose this cache to find as it involved a walk in a reserve and looked straight forward.
Wandered in to the spot and ended up searching for over 20 minutes with no success, including all 14 other nearby "hints" as well. Just as well I had the reserve to myself.
I'm guessing this has been muggled?

could not find this cache, checked all around this sight. may need to be checked
No luck this time for us.
We were cooking in the sun and heat, and I was developing a bad case of hay fever so that's my excuse for not sticking around too long for a better look.
Nice area though, will be back again.
Cheers

Followed a bus in the gates so had a fast walk to cache site before they arrived. Met then slowly walking along path watching for the birds, TFTC
Discovered today. Could do with some maintenance. No space to write finds left
enjoyed this, especially after some less enjoyable "hunts" in last few days. Heaps of people also enjoying the walk.
11/13 found in Rangiora today, found while we were Wandering throught the Reserve. Haven't spent much time out this way, had no idea of the interesting history. TFTC.
Quick walk with my mum while doing another cache with her in the area. We spent a few minutes looking before a group of muggles arrived and we moved on to look for the other one. We came back a few minutes later and found it quick smart. TFTC TNLN
Nice walk, enjoyed reading about the history, and redevelopment of the area. TFTC
A good start for the Rangiora caching tour. Despite two muggles quick find. TFTC
Nice walk to GZ. Interesting remnants of the old sheep skin tanning facilities in this reserve. Easy find, TFTC. Signed log
Cheated by reading hint unbeknownst to Mr KE, but didn't help as we both struggled even after Mr KE read hint also. Finally put my hand on it. A little smaller than expected. TFTC.
Find #5 of my geocaching cycle tour of Rangiora.
Cool place! Lots of interesting history. Who would have thought that a sewage works could be so transformed! Beautiful spot now. TFTC

What well thought out planting and incorporation of past industrial relics in the landscape. This cache is a must for those who do not know this reserve. TFTC
A delightful walkway and a creek that must have been an absolute hellhole generations ago. Thank you.
Went with family and when we got there family needed to go to the toilet. So with everyone looking with a motive (to get to the toilet) we found it. Signed as Ahna.

#1642 Visited this reserve some years ago before the next door estate was ready. Went for a drive round the estate. Expensive houses by the look of it. It took me some time to find the cache as my GPS wanted me on the other side of the track. TFTC DS8300
Interesting read about the water use here. Almost drove into the private estate as the gates were open but the warnig signs prompted a hasty retreat. TFTC.
It's amazing what can be done with a little effort to restore and retain the history of an area. Nice spot to come and visit. Thanks for the lead to this spot.
#1036. Out in Rangiora en route to n-laws, we thought we'd stop off for a quick spot of caching. Rain was threatening and we weren't making much progress, so decoded hint. Even with hint it took us a bit of searching. Signed log as big drops of rain started to fall, then raced off back to the car. A great reserve. TFTC.

This is a great reserve, well worth a visit. Unfortunately, couldn't linger as the rain had started. Took a wee bit to find - it was a very small "small". (or maybe a large micro?)
TFTC.
TFTC.
The park was very quiet while we were there. A nice place I didn't know existed. Was about the 3rd cabbage tree we had to look in today. Must be the new Flax bush.

3025. This was a pleasant walk to a familiar spot. The water in the river was very clear - it was interesting to watch it bounce its way down the weir.
Thanks

What a beautiful place. I didnt even know it existed. Saw some swans nearby. Easy find.
This was a really nice area to take a morning stroll around in. We saw a couple of fish, ducks and a swan family with five little grey fluffy cygnets. Interesting design of the interpretation panels too – they fit in well with the history and environment. Fortunately we put on hand on the cache quickly as there were a number of the hint items nearby!! TNLN TFTC
Just as we pulled up so did a Muggle with young Muggle. We were almost walking together. So we held back and guess what they stopped at the cache site,so we had to linger, and admire the concret structure.Eventualy we found it and sat listening to the babbling brook while filling out the log book.,which was rather nice.TFTC.
Had a good hunt around with the kids, but were interrupted by 'Muggles'. May get back some other day.
Took a moment or two to find. Seachered the right spot and missed the cache too. Wasn't tempted to take a dip.
Nice walk today, and the cache was well secreted away. Haven't been to this reserve for a long time. Cheers Gav [4480]
I have been in this area before , A very interesting and lovely place to visit. The cache took me a wee while to find but got it, Yay. It was a bit smaller than what I was looking for but great all the same. Many thanks. Cheers Bo
Almost gave up but there it was, right where I first started looking (smallish cache). Lots of weekend muggles about, thanks
Met up with two muggle suspects at GZ who turned out to be meandpedro and who had very conveniently done all of the hard work in finding the cache. Nice to meet other kindred souls out and about. TFTC
Diverted whilst on a cycle ride to sign the logbook and also perform a check on my nearby mystery cache (Northbrook Wanderings). TNLN T4TC. Cheers.
FTF. All quiet here at 8am. An easy find close to another cache, 2 good reasons to visit a reserve which remains unknown to most Cantabs. TNLN TFTC
