It appears this cache may have been caught up in a fire... As we are unable to get to the location to check this and it has been missing for nearly 12 months I have no option but to archive it...
Thank you to everyone who has found this cache and anyone who has helped along the way in maintaining it with log books etc..
Happy caching...

I was on my way home now and travelling a different route to normal as I had come via Yorketown.

No cache to be found here. There has been a fire so most likely destroyed.

There has been a fire at this tree recently looks like a crispy cache on the floor not 100% certain though

This morning we started our day by attending a CITO - what a great way to give back to the local community and environment.

And after spending several nights in Edithburgh, Gary and I once again took our time to drive around the YP...we finally ended up in a lovely holiday home in Marion Bay (for 2 nights) so we could be super close to Innes National Park. A quick stop at an IGA on the way meant we could cook a good old Aussie bbq for dinner - YUM!!

Some of the cache hides today were easy, others were more challenging, but overall we enjoyed yet another wonderful day with fantastic weather.

Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets Smile

Woo hoo, the lovely Micaparamedic and I decided we would attend the June Long Weekend Event in South Australia (Edithburgh) and make the most of a road trip to the glorious Yorke Peninsula by spending a week away - NICE! [^] Cool

We particularly enjoyed exploring Innes National Park and focussing on the new earth caches on the YP and in Burra.

Sadly today I had to start my journey home after a massive June Long Weekend. Luckily I was only driving as far as Adelaide and then catching a flight back to Mount Gambier.

Visiting SA for a week before going to Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs. Out with joojoo57 and Snickersallan doing caches on Yorke Peninsula then back towards Adelaide. Thanks to all COs for your cache hides.

10-Apr-17
Before attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs we're spending 5 days in SA mainly around the Yorke Peninsular. Appreciated the variety of containers and places they were hidden - it certainly brought us to places we certainly wouldn't have stopped at. many thanks to all the COs for your time and effort in the placement of your caches.
After two days of geoart we are having a sightseeing and caching run around the middle section of Yorke Peninsular.

#11771. Day 12 of our SA holiday. As the forecast for the Yorke today was for rain, sun, showers, wind and all of the above several times over in whatever order you like to think up, we decided a caching day was in order as it wasn't going to be any good for kayaking or snorkelling or cycling. We started at Moonta and went as far as Edithburgh for Rob to do a maintenance check and then back up through Yorketown etc to home. Collected a nice little bounty of 36 smiles with a couple of DNF's thrown in for good measure.

Rob has already done this one years ago so out I hopped and over the road I went to search for some treasure. This one needs maintenance as one of the side clips is broken and the log has been damp. CO check up might be a good thing.

Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets

Left Yorketown, and travelled to Minlaton via Port Vincent, picking up caches with Konie.
We travelled some great country roads, and the scenery was stunning.
Even though it was quite hot, we managed to do a few trail and other caches in the area.

Many thanks for placing this cache, Rocky Glen Grommets, for us and others to find.

28-Feb-16
Catching up on a few late logs (something not that unusual for me). As always, I enjoyed the journey to find the cache, mostly I have been in the company of Team Crackers, maccamob, alansee and the Coffee's, but occasionally I have gone out solo to soak in the solitude of being out in the fresh air.

Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets for placing this cache.

28-Feb-16
Traveling with micaparamedic to meet up with The Drovers and Konie on the York Peninsula we were grabbing some random caches.
We are still not sure what king of stock we were looking for as all the paddocks were empty today. Sad
But on the up side we had a nice easy find and sign.

Many thanks Rocky Glen Grommets for the cache and to Dazzaton and Margieh for keeping it going.

Heading back to Adelaide after a weekend visit to Innes National Park. Decided to stop for a couple (or more) caches on the way back.

GPS had us a little bit off GZ, but the cache was in a fairly obvious location, so was a relatively easy find. No animals here for us today though.

After a very successful day yesterday on the Fish Trail, we decided that today we would drive a loop from Warooka to Minlaton, Port Vincent, Edithburgh, Yorketown and back to Warooka to see what the area has to offer, to look for some caches we didn't have on our initial lists and to plan a return to cache the area more extensively. This was one of the extra caches we tackled on our tour. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets.

14-Jul-14
A quick find for a cache in full view of the homestead across the road. The occupants were the last finders of the cache, but they left it there after logging it. (It might have been the kids we saw playing on the trampoline.)
