Owner no longer lives in Albany. Still a magic spot for a cache and fantastic views. Leaving it to a current local cacher to put in a replacement if they want to.
Enjoyed the fabulous views, but no sign of the cache, or the seat, but lots of hidey holes.
Is it still there?

I definitely found where I would have hidden it! But no cache was hiding there today.
While over visiting the kids and grandkids with & 0thers we were doing the tourist trek up to the spark plug. This is a great view of the town and surrounding area. MrX myself and the grandkids ventured on this one. Took the long way round on the trail but got there safely. It was a quick find and then enjoyed the view. Took the short cut back but slowly. Did the climb to the top of plug. Great place to play hide and seek. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from Melbourne
pug002 didn't find it 14/4/2016. searched and searched after our long walk all around today.
Didn't have my phone out but found this as we were talking about places caches could be!
I missed finding this cache a few days ago on a bike ride around Melville, due to some unsavoury characters hanging around on the trail [:o]
Today a new cache had appeared down the hill a bit called "Jack and Jill".
Well there is a spot to head up the hill from
So from the parking spot for that cache chase, I followed a trail through the bush that led slowly uphill through the trees.
At S35 01.381 E117 52.262 I found meself a mere 160 metres from GZ for this cache
And there was the most delightful slab of granite, just begging me to scramble up it
Yep !! It was steep
And boy oh boy it was fun
Arriving at the top of the hill I took a moment to catch me breath and admire the views
The cache was a quick find after that
More fun followed ... the walk back down !!
I think I have found the best way to find this cache
Don't try this approach in the rain though !!

This has got to be one of the best views in Albany. The GPS was spot on, another quick find for Geohubby
Another amazing location we have been introduced to via caches! Thanks so much! Love this city!
Nice little walk for the afternoon great spot. Left a sticker for the next cacher. TFTC
Love this spot. There were hundreds of tiny frogs about 4mm long. Had to get a clue from past logs.
Freezing, blustery and wet conditions made for a treacherous and slow walk to GZ. Thanks for a quick find once I reached the cache.
Out road tripping with K.B. This was one of our many stops. Thanks for the time you've taken to hide this cache. Please excuse the generic log.
An early morning assault on Mt Melville before we checked out of the caravan park and headed back to the big smoke. Thanks Cruznoz, we're always a fan of a good series and this one didn't disappoint.
Thanks for this cache - didn't know this walk trail was here. Will be using it in future.
Spectacular views from this cache - thanks for the cache and for bringing us to such a beautiful spot
Great cool day for a walk so thought I would do some of the mount Melville caches. Great view and lovely walk. After logging cache decided to do a bee line for the mokare cache. Not sure if it's a good idea but here goes. TFTC
I had a great time down in Albany, caching most days, followed by scrumptious dinners accompanied by some fantastic local reds. Enjoyed the walk out to this one, but once there, the cache proved rather elusive. Have to admit to being a bit reluctant to searching too thoroughly after hearing movement in the undergrowth around gz - great spot for slithery critters up there. But perseverance paid off and the cache was found eventually. Thanks for bringing me up here Coastn Along
Cache has been checked and moved a short distance. New log to be included soon.

Today we decided to explore Albany as showers were on the way according to the weather forecast.
Parked at the water tank and followed the track to the cache. After signing the log we went out to the edge of the rock and enjoyed the amazing views. TFTH

Great spot. Found on a lovely evening walk while waiting for an appointment. Took TB Mouse. Container lost most of it's camo and is easy to spot in the light scrub. Also looks like there is just a temporary log in it, in case you want to replace it

Day two in Albany and we conquered Mt Melville with a couple of great walks on a beautiful day. After lunch we explored at bit of Middleton Beach and Emu Point grabbing a couple of solved puzzles along the way. Another great day exploring Albany with 19 caches as a bonus.
The first of our second circuit on Mt Melville and a fantastic location for some photos of the whole of Princess Harbour.
Found the cache relatively quickly but didn't see the separate log book. Piece of paper has plenty of space at present
Dropped off a geocoin I picked up in the US and picked up an Anzac TB which wasn't logged into the cache.
Thanks for the cache Coastn Along [^] - all was good and dry.

Thanks for placing this cache is a beautiful day for a walk with wonderful views over Albany someone has put a price of paper in the container but there is no log
TFTC! Found the notebook but no cache at GZ. Interesting to see someone else had a similar experience to me and the next finder found a container with no notebook. Thanks. Cheers
Yuck find but was nearly blown of the hill. No log in cache, left a age from my notebook.

Spent the day in Albany, sightseeing, and picked up a few caches on our travels.
We visited some nice parks, and lookouts with great views of the surrounding area.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to see this, as we would not have know that it was here.
Worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for the cache, Coast'n Along.

Originally approached this one from the wrong side of the granite outcrop but quickly learnt our mistake. Once on the correct side had soon located cache. Great views from up here and weather was perfect on the day. Thanks Coast'n Along, great place for a cache .
I found this one with my Mum & Dad (jasenjanine), while on our Christmas holidays ... but not before we found a couple of waterholes that we could play in (not sure if mum&dad could see the funny side, but we had fun)
TFTC Coast'n Along ... Awesome views from up here [^]

Day 3 of our holidays staying in Albany, we spent the morning exploring Mt Melville After finding a suitable parking spot, we headed in the direction of GZ and happened to meet some nice people who were on holidays from Qld... We got chatting to them for a while as it turns out they were from the same part of town as which we used to live [^] The muggles eventually left us to it, as they headed back to their car... DangerMouse09 made the find soon after!
TFTC Coast'n Along... The views today were spectacular. We took a moment to take a few photos & enjoy the serenity [^] It quickly ended though, when the kids found a great big waterhole in which they got soaked!

Long delayed logging, signed as robd. These caches added to enjoying hikes in Albany.TFTC.
Nice work. I agree, the tub was showing white a bit. But lovely spot, really nice walk thank you
Hey there. Great cache. Your tub has lost most of its camo green. Shows white. Hid it as best we could. Needs a fresh coat of green. Thanks.
Nice find after an early finish at work. Great way to finish up my visit, TFTC! =)
