Quick find, but snuck past the yellow tape... Mayby relocation needed because of the tape?

During our roundtrip in beautiful New-Zealand we found multiple caches on both islands. This was one of the caches. To all caches owners: TFTC !!
Matariki weekend and a team of us from BOP have ventured south for a caching weekend. The team consists of TNXPro, NZFlossy, McJandals and DavidsonClan. Logs signed as Team BOP.
Weather cold wet and windy but that won’t stop us on our mission.
Ngā mihi for the cache hides.

Down here with part of team BOP and staying at Woodville. Day one was the Vikings and so today was to be a lot quieter and easier driving with looking for favourites and adlabs Thanks to all the CO s TFTC . Beautiful bush
Road trip for Team BOP over the long weekend.
After completing the Vikings Series yesterday, we decided we needed less quantity, more quality caches today and a more relaxing schedule.
Our accommodation is in Woodville, so made sense to clear this area of caches also.
Great cache in a great location.
Thanks for bringing us to this nice reserve.

Nice way to finish off the walk across to Woodville. Cache in good condition
Easter weekend, and with the paradox that only family can create, I both need to be in Wanganui and not in Wanganui at the same time. Today I spent the morning with family and then was able to free up the afternoon, so once again it was off a-geocaching I did go. Quite a few DNFs today, but still managed to sign 51 logs today.
Yup, that's a tree! Cache was found without any trouble.
Thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.
Such a magestical tree lucky for the geocache otherwise I would have missed the other bench.
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up in Woodville for the next couple of days … we decided to grab a nearby Earthcahe & then we wanted to walk the Manawatu Gorge River Walk to grab some other caches … we were a bit perturbed by the Geocaching map taking us off trail but it’s because there have been slips on part of the old track but everything ended up being fine … grabbed the TB Zeus der Entdecker from the cache … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,443 for us.
Went out for a drive today, and decided to find caches as well. The Totara track and the bridge (loop) are new since i was last here. It was a nice place to sit and appreciate the surroundings (apart from the sound of the windmills). Thank You for the Cache and for brining me to the Totara. Off to Woodville for Yummy Mummy Cheese cake.
Many thanks Yeoman Phil! Just passing through- all good here. What a beautiful spot!
Found while doing the loop walk today. Junior cacher was excited to make a swap. Great spot, thanks for placing a cache here!
First tome entering the gorge walk from this side and first find for the day. Tftc
Was missing last time I was here. Nice to come back and look at this magnificent tree again. Gets my fave vote.
Been working in Masterton for a week and now heading home. Picking up some caches on the way. Thanks for replacing this cache into a much safer position. Sure is the biggest micro I have found. LOL Cache all fine. Nice to return and show Mrs Rubbishparty this amazing tree plus change a sad face into a smiley. Thanks
One of eight caches located today on day 1 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. En route today from Wellington to Woodville. Staying this afternoon and overnight at nearby Woodville Ferry Reserve. Walked from there to the tree and the cache. Reading the various logs, we realise we weren’t the first to start looking in the wrong place! A reasonably quick find in the ‘correct’ location. And an impressive tree! #3621. TFTC.
I decided to use the opportunity of having a quiet few days off work to drive over to the Hawkes Bay in order to be a cacher in that region for the first time.
But which route to take? Over Saddle Road, or over the Paihiatua track? Well I decided on the latter in order to make a stop here so I could have a second crack at finding this cache which I had DNF'd just over a year ago.
It only took a couple of minutes of hunting around before I made the find, as initially I was in the wrong location. Cache was nicely hidden away in an obvious spot (for a cacher). On opening the container, there were no issues with the log hich was signed and the whole lot was replaced back where I found it.
Thanks for setting this cache up, and I wish you a happy and prosperous 2021

Find #25 for me and my partner, great little hide with a small walk through the forest, forgot to log on the day of finding it due to no reception and being a little behind schedule for the day, and little sleep

Cache now maintained, has been moved a few metres to a safer location and to protect the tree. New coordinates have been posted. Enjoy.
This cache has not been found for over a year with multiple DNFs. Would suggest it’s archived unless the CO can confirm it’s there. Thanks
Not found for over a year with multiple DNFs. It would be good if the CO could confirm that the cache is still there and accessible from the platform. Thanks.
Spent the night in Woodville on my way to Whanganui. Had the day to collect some local caches. Enjoyed a few short walks followed by a refreshing swim in the river. No joy finding the cache despite a good feel in the most obvious hidey-hole. Suspect it’s gone.
Stretched as far and deep as I could but no joy sadly. A magnificent tree, happy just to find it!
I was in Palmerston North today in order to attend the GIFF event there this afternoon, and thought I would spend a couple of hours this morning looking for a few caches in an area I don't often get to, the far end of the closed Manawatu Gorge road.
I was last here only 3 weeks ago with a group of people who were keen to do the nearby Stickman Series of caches. This meant that I didn't get a chance back then to stop and look for this one, so today I was able to rectify that.
Part of the joy of geocaching to me is getting to discover places you never knew existed, and would most likely never have visited otherwise. So I was happy to walk along this track today as it kept me out of the fierce winds I had experienced going over the Saddle Road earlier.
I soon found myself at GZ (very impressive!) and very quickly spotted the appropriate likely hiding spot. There was absolutely no-one else around so I lay on my stomach and reached in right to where my shoulder was jammed hard again the root. Still I could find nothing within.
Obviously without any way of being able to see down there, it is impossible for me to accurately say whether it was simply still out of reach or whether it has gone, but all I can do is keep an eye on this cache and hope to make another attempt sometime soon if there are any updates on the logging.

Between Napier and Castel point, a short walk in the gorges.
That's good, there are geocaches.
We can't find the cache, either it's missing or it's very well hidden.
Nice tree

Found under platform after extensive search. Cache totally full of rubbish and rotting leaves. No sign of log book. Rotting geo instructions. Cleaned container, removed rubbish, and replaced logbook, fulled with goodies. Replaced as per instructions.
Found at 10:47.
Our second trip to New Zealand. This time we explore the North Island for 3 weeks. This was one cache we found.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache Iarekt

Found on the way back from Napier. Waiting for the high winds to subside a bit. Found with kingsports
This little walk was just down the road from the Stickman series so I could not go past without signing it off. This is a whopper of a tree.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Very first find on the 10/6/18
Stumbled across this accidently and have now discovered the wonderful world of geocaching

We were out for our first family hike of 2018 (yes, we're running behind, but we hope to make up for it) on a stunningly warm and sunny Children's Day. This was our first cache of the day and it set the tone well as I had to lie on my stomach and use a walking pole to retrieve it! Thank you for the placement; this also fills in a piece of 2 grids for us!
Good find at a wonderful tree. Was muggled by a lovely foreign couple, but thankfully they had heard of geocaching!
Just out for a walk today in area not looking for geocaches and came across this sitting in full view and not hidden. Lovely peaceful area. Rehid cache so not visible to public eye.
Den kleinen Loop gelaufen und weil die Strasse gesperrt ist einen grösseren Loop gefahren.

After reading Project Huia by Des Hunt I became fascinated with the Manawatu Gorge (i am 11 years old). So, Mum & Dad loaded us up and brought us here for 2 nights. I was so excited to find a trading disc (havent seen one before) and put my hand out to reach for cache when I saw two paws and realised there was a dead cat in the hole maybe that is why the Huia is extinct? The smell was unbearable. Please check GZ and make sure cache is ok. Thanks anyway for bringing us to this magnificent tree.
Well found tree easily. Miss 11 went to reach down as instructed and unfortunately there was a very smellt decomposing animal in the hole. A quick squeal and we were out of there. Hope to visit agsin one day we ever in the area again.
Out exploring Manawatu Gorge for the first time with Maizoj and Jeffcrazy's. Say no more, their posts record how this unfolded! Thanks for bringing us here, we really enjoyed the walk and the magnificent tree.

A `"weekend between weeknds" with sveppi. We had a function in Pamly last night. We got up early to make the most of the day and give us plenty of time for a long walk before the long drive home. The hike of choice today was the gorge. Parked the car at the east end and hitchhiked back to the west end. Started some time before 9am, which was a good idea since it started to rain almost as soon as we got back to the car!
This is our last cache of the day on this trail. After seeing only about 4 people all day, a pair of muggles arrive just as I try to retrieve the cache! We had to wait for seemingly ages before they left and we could go ahead with making the find. Nice spot to have to wait though. Just sat on the far seat and enjoyed looking at the giant. It's not so windy down here (it was pretty bad at times along the walk) which made it a bit more pleasant. TFTC

Had to wait a little for a couple of muggles to leave. Odd we hardly seen anyone all day on the track but I guess these two are just doing the small loop at this end. Quick find once the coast was clear. TFTC
Awesome hide we all loved it. Had to make Teeps be brave and feel into the cave but he did it. tFTC.
Stopped here on a long driving day and did the loop track to stretch my legs a bit. Nice to find such an amazing tree giant here, even more with a cache.
Left a TB as well - happy travels to the Donkey!
Thank you for the cache!

Vistra and I had headed down to to Manwatu for the weekend, we both wanted a high number weekend and I was looking forward to meeting some of the locals as well.
Thank you to all the CO's for their placements some nicely placed, clever and tricky hides, so a great variety. This took so long to find, not because it was difficult but because a family was sat listening to the birds, had to wait them out, well it was nice for the break and to stop and listen to the birds as well. I traveled down to Palmerston North for a 3 day geocaching weekend to give my numbers a bit of a boost, as I head towards my next caching milestone. I decided to fly there and back and pick up a cheap rental car for the weekend. The weather was perfect and I had a great weekend down there.
I joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 again today for another day of caching, before our flight out this evening. We started the day picking up a few caches around the city, Bunnythorpe and Ashhurst, before spending the afternoon in the gorge. We had to wait for a family of muggles to move before we could search for the cache - it was a quick find once we could look. An impressive tree and a lot of bird activity around it. TFTC!

Found yesterday. Had a beautiful walk up along the gorge track today. Was even lucky enough to see a Morepork up in the trees not far from here.
Found with friends while walking the gorge. Had to wait for people to leave before attempting to do this one.
After a day heading toward Woodville we decided to pick up a hand full of caches on the way back. This group just over the Ballance bridge grabbed our eyes.
