After spending a night at the campground,I saw this one on the map and it took me about 8 seconds to find it.Really easy one! Thanks from Belgium
Found it Took me several attempts to find it but eventually there it was. Hiding in plain sight.TFTC
This one elluded me today. Tried a few different spots but it just wouldn't reveal it's hidey spot and I had 2 GPS's on the go (phone and my big Garmin) but still nothing. Co-Ords had me just under the 2 big trees but I don't think this is the right place. I did enjoy my visit to Marley Point today as the area was very quiet and only a cool, gentle breeze blowing off the water. Will try again in a few weeks time. Thanks for the fun and frustration Jimmy PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great caching adventures today.

Nope, no luck today unfortunately. The hint kind of helped (if we had found it) although two "things" fitted the hint but as the coordinates took us metres from one and even more metres from the other we weren't quite sure where to look so we looked around both and *still* came up empty handed. Maybe next time if we ever return we'll have another go.

A late night arrival and an early morning leave. Made a great campsite overnight and very goofy this morning so no views. Took a little longer to find.
We needed a cache for our streak and decided to come and check this one out despite the recent DNF's since we could always head to another close by. Turns out it is definitely still there!
GPS had us standing nowhere near anything that could conceal a hide so we went with the clue and the listed size. Very clever! We didn't spot it until I put my fingers on it!
Thanks for find #3696

Away on a quick winter get away for the weekend and out for a drive around Sale. This area was quiet with a small family fishing by the water's edge in the distance so stealth wasn't really required. Coordinates took us to a very likely location with plenty of little hiding places to explore, however, after a good search for 30 mins we weren't able to place our hand on the cache. The hint was no assistance as it appears it may not have been updated when the coordinates were recently changed.
A beautiful location worth a revisit to hopefully find this cache another day.

Beautiful location this is stopped by on my way to the event found quickly signed and replaced...TFTC
Driving to Bairnsdale, we took the back roads, and came to this extremely windy back-water. It had a wild beauty, and nearly blew us away. Easy find, well hidden. Thanks Jimmymaff
First cache for 2020. So sad that our beautiful state is under threat and what looks to be a beautiful location in drowning in smoke. TFTC
Out and about enjoying some sight seeing on our way home from Sydney in our new camper. This is another spot we have never visited even though we are both from Gippsland. I think we’ll be back. Thanks for the cache
Visited Marley point after hearing so much about it from friends who have participated in the o'night race annually. Beautiful spot.
Trip from Bright in Victoria to Brisbane, Queensland can be rather boring, so we cache as we go. Today, we started near Sarsfield and ended up at Pt Marlay.
Beautiful spot to cool off on a hot day. Bonus camp site, double bonus cache find. Thanks Jimmymaff

At GZ I found a couple of magnificent trees except ivy was all over one. What type of tree is it? On closer look I realised it’s a dead gum tree just smothered with English Ivy and possibly the cause of its death. I went round it once and wondered how on earth I was going to find the cache among that tangle. I emerged from the trees, scratches on my arms, read the hint, which led me straight to the cache ! Whew!
On the approach to GZ, the buzz of bees became louder. As an anaphylactic with these buggers, I SOS called for assistance with this. It was quickly recovered and in my ha drs for the logging. Thanks for the cache. First time camping or even visiting here and as just up the road is my mums childhood stomping ground (Cobains-Croft), we will definitely be back.

29 March 2018 Thanks for the cache! Nice spot and many goodies in there - didn't take any, left it for some geokids
Found the cache, lots of bees though and forgot a pen to write in the log. Some muggles about as well. Nice spot thanks.
Heading to Sale, so decided to go look at Marley Point as neither of us has been there before. Quite a tidy little area to visit and a great spot for overnight camping.
Lots of bees at GZ today, but Petal braved it and got the cache. Thanks Jimmymaff for the placement here.

This was our first target to drop our trackable in Australia. Thanks for the cache
Oh, i love it!. A very friendly possum lives here too. We camped so nicely behind this big wind shelter. Tftc
Out for a bit of a drive around, haven't been down here in about 25yrs so thought we'd come see if anything had changed! The wind was cold and blowing like all get out, but that just meant no-one was around, so luckily for us it made for a quick and easy find. SL TFTC
A quick find. Only a family picnicing but the search had me out of line of sight.
Thanks Jimmymaff
Thanks Jimmymaff
On our way to Paynesville and thought we'd call on to check out the home of the famous race. Tftc
Came here to spend 5 nights camping and we love the spot. Very peaceful this time of year. Haven't cached for awhile and thought there must be something here so logged in and yup! Thanks for the cache. Kids loved exploring for it
Out for a spin on my old MG from sale. Lots of free campers around. Today a bit cold and windy out here and the lake is choppy with an easterly wind. Tftc.
Nice day for a drive so took hubby for a jaunt around the swamp. Lots of grey nomad muggles about but none near GZ. TNLN. TFTC. Scrappy_1
Exploring the Gippsland now. Had a short look only in Lakes Entrance as we have been there couple of years ago. Now at Marleys Point for a quiet rest. Tftc

A fair amount of muggles around, but Geokid managed to grab it without being obvious. It was a little gross inside, due to a tube of body wash having leaked. I gave it a wipe out, sharpened the pencils and left a few treasures so that there is something in there that isn't soggy. TFTC.
Found while on great camping trip alone the lake. Great spot to leave a cache. tftc
I'd hoped to collect this one last year while in the area swimming but there were a lot of muggles camping and hanging around. Today seemed too good to be true though... glassy smooth water and 26 degrees at 10am but more importantly, barely any muggles. So in between swimming, chasing a toddler, feeding a baby and calling an adventurous dog back into land, Sal-Wal and I managed to snag this one (snag being the operative word given the growth in this particular area!). Thanks for the cache jimmymaff, this is an awesome spot!
Enjoyed learning about the yacht race. Beautiful if a wee bit windy spot. Thanks. Silkyie
