Quick find while hiding a cache nearby
Out with the JAMS crew for a weekend down the York's. The JAMS members along this weekend were JJ52, Allister w, Mogni and Sir_spectre. We came to finish off the last of the finish line for all of us and then goto a CITO event i was hosting near Kalpara. JJ52 and Allister W were target some certain cache types for the hard sounvier online bage. After Finishing the fishing line geoart we cached along the coast to Edithburgh and still only got to Edithburgh for dinner. Saturday was a cooler day for power trailing and only 1 snake was sighted, sunday started off cold but soon turned in to nice caching weather. We stopped for lunch in Stansbury on the way home.

Quick find here, thanks to the hint.

13-Aug-23
Here we are, the 3 Stooges (weredunn4, WayneAPN and myself) hit the beautiful Yorkes Peninsula again.

This time we are targeting the Sea Horse series of caches and is often the case with us, no doubt there will be a few other bonus caches along the way.

A typical day out for us now, going hard for caches but truckloads of trash-talk, banter and laughs

All caches located & stamped, and most importantly, maintenance performed where needed.

13-Aug-23
Out again with the Stooges gang. Hitting some more artwork and other targeted D/T caches.

A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.

We stamped the logs today with our "GoodLook & Feathertop" stamp.

A very cool cache and a fairly quick find with the hint....gotta love a "public room" Wink

A spontaneous trip to the YP with my great buddy Sally. We started early as we only had the day to cache - so we focussed on completing the last of the "Gone Fishn'" trail that we started at the end of 2017.

Sal and I also ventured off to do a handful of other caches in the area before leaving the YP.

Thanks so much for placing and maintaining the cache Dazzatron! [^]

Mrs Rat, Doctor Owl and sushilord went on a made dash over night caching trip.
We were headed for the jLWE at Wool Bay.

10-Jun-17
Off on an overnight adventure with Sushilord and SA Sewer Rats to visit the JLWE event, do cache maintenance and get Owl closer to a milestone. A relatively quick find in a semi-logical place. the hard part was trying to figure out what were real roads on Owl's car GPS!

09-Jun-17
Having stayed in Port Wakefield overnight to got a good head start on the traffic heading to Edithburgh for the JLWE, mogni and I set off early. The only thing standing in our way were several unfound caches. Surprised What would YOU do? We stopped and grabbed a few (well more than 40) smilies and about 4 DNF's Cool
Having diverted to see what Monica saw we continued on to here. Stopped an quickly had the cache in hand, stamped and replaced. Smile
Took the time to plan where to next and I had a few sips from my hot chocolate thermos. Mrs. Muggle farmer leaving home stopped to see if we were okay. Then kindly pointed out the patch of extra rocky paddock where the building once stood. Razz Country folk are always so nice.
Thanks Dazzatron for the cache. Big Grin

Out for a drive with brisal5 on our way to Edithburg for the June Long weekend. This one was a little off our original path but it was worth going to. A local stopped for chat, checking we were okay and of course we made a new friend.

The long weekend presented the perfect opportunity for my wige (Tounga) and I to plan a quick get away.
So, we booked some accommodation in Moonta and decided to cache the upper Yorke Peninsula.
We had a great time, finding 129 geocaches in all.
Thanks for hinding your cache Dazzatron, we enjoyed it.

I apologise for the generic log.

On the way back from the southern Yorke Peninsula to Adelaide, we stopped to look for this cache. Accurate coordinates and then hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Dazzatron.

17-Dec-14
Work had me travel to Port Victoria today Big Grin, & I stopped here on the way home. After we found a cache up the road my co-worker was keen to look for another. So she searched for the cache while I had a look at the plaque.

I gave her a couple of minutes and then gave her a hand. Turned out she was in the right spot but didn't quite get the hint. Ofcourse, it all fell into place for her when I made the find.

We both enjoyed this one so am giving a favourite point. TFTC Dazzatron Big Grin

Day three of my holidays, heading to the Yorke Peninsulas. I picked a few caches along the way and made it to Ardrossan, then headed out for a few nearby caches. Very quick find. Who'd have thought this was the place of a public building?

We are catching up with late logs

Day five with Alansee and Micaparamedic we were now based in Wallaroo and this is our second last day on this great peninsula
A muggle appeared from nowhere so after we waited for him to leave we started our search and the well hidden cache was found fairly quickly and our initials were adedd to the log.
>To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Many thanks to Dazzatron for placing this cache.

18-Aug-14
On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)

Many thanks Dazzatron for placing this cache Cool.

With the promise of fantastic spring weather and a long weekend allowing for an extended caching trip, locus cache, clare007 and I made our way to the central region of the Yorke Peninsula with the aim of cleaning out as many caches as we could.

A great cache, my companions were way off but I spotted the tell tale clue and the find was made. TFTC Dazzatron!

06-Oct-13
We had two days of some perfect caching weather while driving down central Yorke Peninsula with
Locus cache & RideTheGeoWalrus.
Seems I was paying too much attention to the GPS,
Peter soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache Dazzatron.

06-Oct-13
What a fantastic couple of days! [^]
Sunday and Monday I enjoyed the company of RideTheGeoWalrus and Clare007 as we cached in an area that I have not cached in before.....therefore I enjoyed what is now a rare concept for me......not having to dodge previously found caches in order to find a cache to locus cache on Cool
We found dust, mud, caches, views, trees and lots of laughs as we drove around and exhausted ourselves doing 115 smileys Smile with 9 DNFs Sad (although we went back later and got finds on several of these DNFs) and one event attended...with only us three there Wink It's always good to CITO!
With CO's permissions, we also did quite a bit of cache maintenance as many logs were full or wet or both and several containers were broken or missing.
If any CO whose cache we visited really wants their old log back, then email me and I will try and work out which old log it is and return it to you.

Give us a break, RideTheGeoWalrus, we trusted the GPSr which had us 8m off of where you were Razz
Besides which, we at least had the right idea just the wrong location.
We females aren't all dipsticks, you know! Wink
