A bit of a back road jaunt to get this one. Once at GZ, i heard a lot of bird chatter from the lake, and was not suprised to see a Wedge Tailed Eagle on the hunt. It took several circumnavigations to find this, as i kept disregarding the camo. TFTC.

It was extremely windy and very badly littered in the vicinity. I had as good a search following the hint, but no find here today unfortunately. I sent s Snap, Send, Solve report about the rubbish. I hope the area is cleaned up soon. How can people use such locations like this for a private dump?

First full day of The Great Cattle Dog Muster, and PirateLinda has finally arrived to join me…

After spending the day watching Championship Shows, cattle & sheep mustering, dog sports & hundreds of dogs there was still time for a couple of caches…

I like pre-2010 caches… it’s a testament to their quality that they survive… I was sent into the “very snakey” environment and spent awhile going round and round in circles did the cache more than once… it’s aged camouflage works really well…

After not been found for a while I was a bit nervous but cache in hand pretty quickly. The grass is long but the cache is in an obvious spot. TFTC

TFTC. A nice quick find before getting scared by a Noise in the grass. So I got out of there quick smart. Probably just my vivid imagination but I’m reptile scared. We are staying up the road on Lake Liddell. A nice spot to camp for the week.

Found with Shaneo58, Doing a circuit around Muswellbrook. Scone, Denman and Jerrys planes. Finally after being locked down, we are able to travel. Made the circiut around theother side of lake Liddel, making a straightforward find.

This one was tricky - we spotted it immediately but thought nothing of it, until we returned after exhausting the other hiding spots, and realised it was the cache. TFTC!

In the area for work and i decided to find couple on my way home. Found on my way back to the New England Highway after my detour. TFTC

The OZ Geomuster is over.
So much fun and games and catching up with friends and meeting new friends.
I have now officially left the showgrounds and am heading home.
But of course there has to be a detour to go find a cache a cache or two ... or three ... or ... Good thing I have 4 more days to travel home.

Muswellbrook
An over night stop here at the showgrounds. We met up with Liz and Bruce & went out together to find a few caches. There are some very clever, sneaky & well constructed caches in the area. Really enjoyed finding the many different types.

We arrived in Muswellbrook late in the day and pulled into the showgrounds and after unhitching the caravan we headed out to find the creative caches that we had been told about. We were not disappointed and had a fun few hours finding this and other novel caches. Fav point alloc. Thank Havago for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from our camp at Lake Liddle on a round trip along Hebden Road. Load of rubbish? Well almost. Found, signed and returned, thanks Havago

11:14:00 AM. The better half found this hide and the log was signed. Worth the trip off the highway to find great caches and a quiet area. Now to check out the lake. Thanks Havago for the cache.

Checked cache and found it on the ground in plane view about half a metre from it's hide. It was in good condition and I returned it to it's hide.
The cache is about 5m from the car park and is a very easy find. Also a great view of Liddell Power Station across the lake.

Bikerbuddy was closer to this one than me, as he was checking that side while I checked the other. From my angle I could see that it didn't look quite right, so went around to check it again. And found the cache.

There were some great views across the lake here to the power station, which reminded me of Wallerawang. I spotted the cache but dismissed it. Toriaz insisted we should check it, and sure enough, it was in fact the cache. It looked quite natural. Thanks

I kept looking at this one. Something about it just seemed out of place but it wasn't until I mentioned it to Gibberish that she picked it up and there it was. Clever hide. Loved it.
There were a few tradeables in this container. I picked up a little posable black and white superhero looking figure and left a minion poker chip.

Camped at Lake Liddell last night and headed off to find this one early this morning. Unfortunately there were road works happening at GZ and the parking area for this one is being used as their depot. Plus you are in the middle of lollipop workers for this one so even if you could pull over you can't at the moment.
Will have to have another go at this one next time we are up this way.

A nice easy find today while taking a detour home from muswellbrook after a work visit. Disregarded the cache at first and tried to make it harder than in needs to be, a great view accross the lake -sunset/sunrise would be great. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here.

Day one of our boys geocaching and camping weekend today, we drove out to Scone finding 21 caches and two DNFs. The heat (and the flies) got to the kids after a while, and we called stumps for the day. Tomorrow we drive up into the mountains!

Looked for about 10 mins found nothing. Most likely it is still here but the long grass makes it hard to get to and see also so many rocks that is could be under I would be here for days!. Thx for the cach thought! It brought me out lake liddel and its definitely a spot to come back to!

Thanks for the cache. Found in great condition while on our way north along the new England. Staying a night or two at Lake Liddell.

Checked cache, all good apart from being moved about half a metre from it's hide. Three 'Did Not Finds' actually had the cache in hand and threw it away.

No luck for us today, but a good location for trainspotting - we even managed two non-coal trains while we were there.

Back in MBK to round up a few strays and some newies. Picked this on up on the way home. A quick grab despite the camo. Thanks havago
