The AFL Grand Final is on in Melbourne this weekend so it is a great time to get out of the place for a long weekend away and any excuse to go caching.I checked the weather conditions of North, South, East and West in my part of the country and West won out so Im heading over to Murray Bridge for 3 nights as I was able to get Thursday off and make it a 4 day break.The weather is looking good and I left Melbourne nice and early to make the most of my break.I crossed the border into SA so let the fun begin.The ice cream series and the new Straya challenge caches were the main reason for heading this way when I picked which direction I was heading.After completing the Ice cream and the Straya series of caches throw in a few of the Wandering Heros and GEOPETS caches its time to have a wander around town.Drove across the bridge this time and parked down near the river for a wander around the old port area.A great view from up here.Thanks Team Canyonero TFTC.

Mt first SA find, very well camouflaged, took me a bit more searching than I expected, but eventually I spotted it. Log signed and returned as found. Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the logbook nice and dry.Tftc

Found with O319 on our day caching around the area

Replaced the container. The foliage has been trimmed so the clue works again now

Tried searching for it on the 1st of June. Unfortunately after climbing up and down the hill and between bushes I was unable to find it.

GZ was within about 3 m but it took a bit of searching to find the hint object as that's now overgrown.

Very well hidden in amongst the bushes. Kanmantoo bluestone was tricky to spot, but after 10 minutes, we got it. Was our first ever one found. Good spot. Has been replaced. Chops 3 28/1/24

After settling into the motel I decided on a walk after being in the car all day
After a short search I soon located this cache. A great hide
Signed log and replaced where found TFTC

Making my way back to Adelaide. Got a target on some caches but not as many as other days. Perfect day today
