too many muggles for this one

I found the original GZ, but it was definitely empty, I decided to skip this one but as I left I checked the logs just in case, Oh I see The cache was a quick find at the new location. The contents are dry, but a bit sparse now. I do really feel that this cache is in need of maintenance, the coordinates need to be updated or the cache moved back to the original location. The new location is OK, but could be easily found.

Really glad I read the logs for this one first! Cache was found fairly quickly at the coords mentioned by Fangsoki and ALL7. Not sure why it's not at the published coords though. It's still a little bit wet. This really is deluxe accomodation. TNLNSL TFTC!

After seeing the previous logs for this one - I didn't hold up much hope. However, I located the beast given previous co-ords in ALL7's log. Cleaned out this fine cache and shouted it a new notebook and plastic bag. TFTC! Smile

Cache needs a very good proper dryout. A very fine looking scientific calculator was drenched (shook it dry). Re-hid the beast under some foliage (at the previously mentioned co-ords S27 21.476 E152 59.258) - a few metres from the closest stump. It's not a bad temporary hide if I do say so myself :p

Cache logged using GeoScout http://www.navstation.co.uk/geoscout

Found the hollow tree easily as the camouflage material still remains in place. However could find no trace of the cache after a pretty thorough search within 15m of the hide.

By far me favourite cache hiding spot of the day... What a fantastic area... Baroki Scout, VWNuts and I wanderred down the path to hit water with the GPS still suggesting 16m... Twisted Hmm, that's a little too much to be assuming an error... So, off to find a way across. 10m or so up stream, I found a perfect way over the water and at that crossing, it was a completely different environment and feel... Just great... [^]

Over the other side the cache was found quickly. I waited for the others to make their way over to sign the log. After all, it was too nice to have them miss out... Wink

Thanks for bring us to a great spot Pride of Ogres.

Dropping in a couple of coins that I left but didn't add in my log... Red Face

I really loved this cache. We came in from the wrong side of the creek and had to find a suitable crossing point which wasnt too hard. Cache was found by Gunnie. This area reminded me of my childhood in the Northern Territory racing paddlepop boats in creeks just like this.

Found with Baroki Scout, & Gunnie69

I picked the wrong entry and had to jump over the swiftly flowing creek. That added a bit more excitement to the day. I really enjoyed my walk. It was raining lightly and the forest smelled great. TFTC

Saw a way in from the SW but it looked too easy. So I opted for the eastern approach so I could have a little explore around as well. Isn't it amazing what you find in places like this. The local kids must love all the tracks going here there and everywhere. Found the cache no worries right where the GPS pointed. TFTH.

Took the Platypus Dan GC and left a Zoid. TFTC Pride of Ogres. Quite a different setting in the bush! Brissy Guy Junior also found a small snake sleeping in a near by log.

Geocycled in for an early morning find. Nice spot to sit down, read a paper, watch TV or listen to the music. I'm not sure if this is part of the Motel or is it the neighbours establishment.

Great little spot now to see if i can get throught to the nearby cache.Razz

I rode the pushbike from the nearby Dawn of Monty cache, along the mown grass behind the fences to get to this cache.
In my wake I left a trail of barking dogs [:o]
But down by the creek everything was peace and quiet.
Amazing spot tucked away in suburbia [^]
In the beautiful surroundings I took me time finding the cache and taking in me surroundings Big Grin
That's a mighty fine cache container.
Probably a 4 and a half star motel Big Grin
I checked out "Todies Wild Ride: Wear your bicycle helmet" geocoin and booked in "Alfred" TB.

Very nice but slow walk into the cache, with a whole new world of smells and sounds in the bushland to keep geodog interested in proceedings.
Treaded lightly at GZ, and found the Ogres' INN safe and well.
Took Skippy TB.
Left a Mt Isa touristy-type coin/token.
SL. Thanks for the cache and a wander through a nice piece of bushland along the creek here. Big Grin
