Thoroughly agree with the previous comment except that the council has now done a thorough clean up of the area.
It is gone.
Don't waste your time looking.
Sounded like a good one though

I feel that there is the very distinct possibility that this cache no longer exists. I have been back to this spot a few times now and have been unsuccessful in finding the cache. Recent council activity here has resulted in the removal of a shrub at the given co-ordinates and there is also a couch placed here by those wishing to socialise outdoors. The rubbish that now exists consists of a lot of alcohol bottles and junk food wrappers that the council remove every now and again. Cache definitely needs checking in on. Sorry mightypeanut, this would have been a good one.
Hmm, searching amongst rubbish and in the rain, not my idea of fun. Searching where there is also drug paraphernalia was even less so and this wasn't the only cache in Sunbury where we found such treasures today. TFTC, I was glad when one of our group made the find and we were on our way home again.

Found with the Sisterhood of The Cargo Pants on our assault on not so sunny Sunbury today. Was not a pleasant search amongst the rubbish in the rain, so glad I finally spotted the cache.
Well there was certianly 1 ton of rubbish here! Maybe organise a CITO even for GZ here!
In the end the cache itself was fine. Thanks MP!
Came down from Canberra to do this Woodlands trail with Mr_Roo and Captain Tomato! Had that done and dusted in 5 hours, so we had a little time to spare to do some more cacheing!

Found with Captain Tomato and Tankengine. Lots of rubbish around at this gz. Took alittle bit to find the cache within it TFTC

Didnt look too long with all the rubbish, but worried we'd et a needle stuck injury if we stuck out hands anywhere...
This has been the nearest cache to our oldest sons place for some time. I snuck out and grabbed it while everyone else was busy elsewhere.
Took me a little while to locate it, partly because my search was a little hampered by fear of drug paraphanalia, some of which was very evident.

We looked and looked but couldn't find it. Perhaps we were too wary of the rubbish in the area including the earlier mentioned bong and some empty paint spray cans. A sad state of affairs really. Will try again another day when I have bigger kids in tow and not the two little ones of today - when I am not worrying so much about where they might stick their fingers! It sounds intriguing so we will try again.
We had started our caching on this visit at Sunbury about 10 days ago but had left the area leaving a couple of caches unfound. As we were nearby as we travelled from Bendigo to Tullamarine to catch our plane, we decided to make a short diversion. We wondered what we had come into - the rubbish in the area was considerable with a bong being quite prominent in the "collection". We were very careful as we searched because of possible nasties and after a couple of minutes something familiar to geocachers was seen. Closer investigation revealed the cache, cammoed to blend very well with it's environment. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. TFTC mightpeanut.

I'd decided ages ago that the oldest cache in the state would be my 2000th find, and as the number approached, the seeds of a challenge germinated: find a sequence of hides placed in the years 2000 to 2013.
Most of the hides in my challenge were out to the east, but it was time to give some love to those in the west. The first cache from this year that I attempted this morning was a suburban multi that had to be abandoned when a mother and small child appeared and were set to stay for the duration. So, off to my next possibility, in Sunbury.
I'd attempted this in twilight once before, with no joy, but the cleverly camouflaged cache was an easy find this morning. The area around the hide is definitely the worse for wear, with some signs of a fire, and the leftovers from some substance abuse. I wouldn't be surprised if the cache disappeared soon by being caught up in a cleanup.
In the meantime, though, the brand new log kindly placed by the previous finder was much appreciated. Many thanks to them, and to mightypeanut for the cache.

Was a bit worried this had been muggled, considering the other rubbish in the area, including a home made bong! After a bit of searching I did find it. Looks in good condition after its maintenance, well done. Not what I originally expected, but a GREAT camo.

This was our first find! Kids loved the hunt. Did the much needed maintenance and left a new swap
Couldn't find with made the kids go back to the car was it wasn't really family friendly
Cache contents are wet and going mouldy. Added paper so people can log but don't know how long it will last.
Found this one today. As others have mentioned the camouflage on this cache has not been watertight and water has got into this cache. It has compromised the contents of this cache. I added some paper and signed the log.
Thanks for the cache mightypeanut but it desperately needs maintenance.

I found what I think is the remnants of the cache. I had a good look and saw nothing else. CO needs to check it please!
I was thinking this might be a short day or even a non-starter but the weather remained conducive to finding caches. Today I’m with Square_Pegs, Two_Drews and GazaC and our mission is Sunbury and the surrounding area.
Very clever camo! Well done mightypeanut...we almost missed it

With four people searching the find here came without too much fuss. I loved the camo work on this one, although unfortunately, the cache is thoroughly waterlogged and will require maintenance by the CO to return it to it's former glory.
Thanks mightypeanut.
Thanks mightypeanut.
Today was a sweep thru Sunbury with a few caching mates GazaC, abl973 and square_pegs. I approached at the right angle and came up with one of the few finds for me today, my caching karma went a bit off after this one. Thanks for the creative hide, well done, but needs maintenance.
The camo on the container was excellent! So much so that we could easily have missed it had we not been looking carefully enough. Unfortunately it is full of water so we took a photo. I see that there is already a needs maintenance note on it.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Looked everywhere but couldn't find it. We noticed others havent found it since March so perhaps its been muggled?
Found this cache easily enough with Sorceysal after quite a lengthy chat with a local muggle who thought we were from the council. She was quite concerned about all the rubbish in the area and was happy to tell us about it. We noticed someone had started a fire near where the cache was hidden. Could not sign the log book as it was quite damp and mouldy but returned the cache to it's hiding spot.
The log book is extemely mouldy and needs replacing. We were not able to log it.
Out and about with Dutch Frangipani for a days caching in Sunbury and surrounds for her to try out her new GPS. It was an extremely hot and tiring day.
This was our second find of the day. The area had been strewn with rubbish and someone had set a fire very near to the cache. Whilst searching, a muggle walking her dogs decided to come and have a chat. We got all the goss in the local neighbourhood. Must have been the area Mrs. Mangles!!!!!
The log book needs replacing as it was extemely mouldy and we were not able to write on it.
Thanks for the cache mightypeanut

Didn't spend too long looking for this one, as there was no rubbish in sight! Had a quick look but expected it to be gone. Would like to know if its worth going back to have a look. Thanks anyway
Find # 3854 @ 4:09 PM. We were in the area doing some maintainance on a cache we own so decided to do some caching while we are here. Easy find, Lotts of earwigs, log book was soaked so added a piece of paper with my log. PS... its not recommended to use glass as a cache container due to it being dangerous if broken !!, TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx Mighty Peanut....[:d]
If it's actually here, I'm not about to rummage through a pile of rubbish to find it!
A different location would be better
A different location would be better
Not sure if I found it, Found something that could be it, But no log, the twist cap was off, and no swaps, oily mess, Might need maintenence.
Today I dropped my daughter off at the airport at 5.15am, I decided to make the most of it, and gather some finds on the Bendigo side of the airport. I found 33 for the day, between the hours of 5.30am and 5.20pm.
Found at 9.15am. 11th cache. Good camo really, cos there was that much other trash near it. I hope it all that rubbish hasn't been there since you hid the cache mightypeanut!!! The container had heaps of earwigs in it and the log was soaked. Needs a new log book and a clip lock bag to protect it. This was my most unpleasant cache of the day. Thanks anyway. TNLN.

The cache notes put us on the right track for this one and after some searching at GZ we spotted the cache at 6:55pm. The log book is absolutely saturated and has degenerated into a stinking greasy unusable mess. Needs replacing ASAP. Given that the cache theme is recycling, we recycled a shopping docket from the wallet and signed that and left it in the cache.
TNLN
thanks mightypeanut - but please replace the logbook

Looked briefly today but there were local muggles playing outside in their front yard near the cache and I couldn't see anything that looked cache like even with the clue.
Almost gave up on this one, great hide. Unfortunately everything inside the cache is dripping wet. So we weren't able to sign book.
Needs maintenance

Maybe it's just me but I looked and looked today to no avail. Will return another day with a spare pair of eyes to help out. Fair amount of rubbish dumped in area but nothing stood out to me as being a possible cache.
Quick easy find, helped that I looked at the hint though
NEEDS MAINTENANCE. Lid was off, so log is soggy.

Neat little hide found under the cover of darkness - one I've seen a few times. This one is well executed. However LOG book is full.
Thx for the hide

The Chief threw the anchor out and had zipped across the road to seek out this cache before we realised what was going on! He was back quickly describing the sneaky hide to all in the car. TFTC

Found @1510 #1564
Today found myself required to perform the task of "dropping someone off at the airport" at a rather early time I must say. However I saw the positive aspect to this as it would give me an excuse to do some caching in the surrounding areas. Been meaning to get out this way for awhile as its not a part of Melbourne I need to visit often. Overall today's run resulted in 34 finds an epic result.
Headed to Sunbury to check out the region which I haven't been to before and was amazed by the cache quality seen in the area.
28th Find. The name of this cache got my attention and after parking in the street opposite crossed the road and soon had cache in hand. Today the coordinates were out a little but given the terrain there was only 2 likely spots. Found in the first place I looked. Nice hide. TFTC Mighty Peanut

Found @ 16:05hrs.A great container for the cache, I liked it a lot. Thanks Mighty Peanut.
A quick find and an interesting container. Assuming from some of the other rubbish in the park that this might be a night time haunt for young people. Thanks.
After getting grumpy due to lack of food, we found this cache. 8:06pm and no one to see us! TNLNSL TFTC
Haha that was good! Made me pause.... fave point for you!

Cache number 4 for Team Moo with Team Dickie!!
I just loved this one. So clever - and love that it's been there so long given it's appearance.
Very tricky!!

Our 5th for the afternoon along with Kinkell1 and TilleyTB. A very good hide. Lots of birds took off as we approachd this one. Log was full but we managed to sign. No sign of a TB here. That is about our 3rd missed TB for the day. Clever hide.

Park in question was quiet as suggested, but for two cockatoos who were watching my every move. Found the cache and was surprised. Great camo job, would not think something like this would be a wanted object. Easy to open, SL. TFTC.
Cool cache hide, I tried to keep my voice down and not disturb the neighbours. Noone came out yelling and shaking their walking stick, so I think we did alright.
Found whilst out on a big day of caching with LouiseAnn and Danozz. I found this one, right in the place LouiseAnn said it wouldn't be!
Danozz and I had a big day of caching planned for the Sunbury area. We had solved a couple of puzzles in preparation and were ready to go. At the last minute we added Fekx to the caching party and headed out. This was the cache I had set as my centre point for our hunt in Sunbury, but I hadn’t thought we’d get here and find the cache! Fekx suggested where to hunt and I said “it won’t be there” but I was wrong, as the cache was soon in hand. A clever and slightly unusual hide. Thanks for the cache mightypeanut.
A very creative cache and amazing it is still there. Easy find but watched over by 3 cockatoos on the fence! Needs a new log book please as the one there is full++. We are going to mark this one as a favourite. [^] TFTC mightypeanut

Excellent cache! Very clever & creative. TFTC. Quiet place, no muggles on this beautiful sunny afternoon.
I had time for one more quick cache before my work meeting, so ducked in here for a thankfully quick cache. Funny little piece of dry parkland this, but I soon discovered Sunbury is full of these! Made the wander over to the very likely looking GZ and looked around to see nothing out of the ordinary. It was only when I examined something 'not out of the ordinary' that I discovered the very clever camo'd cache. Great job there- I've always wondered if someone would dare do a hide like this, and it looks like you've done a great job and in the right spot too...

spotted whitepaws team logging this one, we waited until they'ed left before we looked. surprised that a cache like this hasn't already been cleared off, but in one aspect i think it's very smart. took the TB left by whitepaws - we aren't local so this one will travel far.
