Agree with previous comments that cache may have blown away or been taken as the hint is very specific but no cache to be found in the area. Great spot for a cache on a beautiful track. Thank you
Sorry i checked this when i jogged by recently and its gone. Will archive as had replaced it a couple of times.
Had a look around the entire area and couldn't find it. Possibly could've blown away with the winds happening or could've been taken. Still a dope walk though TFTC! ️
Found it more or less accidentally. Someone thought it would be wise to leave it under the bench without any camouflaging. Took it to the place where I would have looked first in accordance with the given coordinates so not far. Didn’t have time to camouflage it properly though. Thanks for the cache L&J

Out for a walk along the alley track, been meaning to do this for a long time, cache waterlogged but was able to dry out log enough to sign. OK. Quick find. TFTC
Found quickly after a reasonably strenuous walk. Great views and interesting changes in forest types along the way.
Cache is wet inside and despite the plastic, logbook is damp.

Quite a few places this could be hiding but after reading the clue it was a quick find.

Beautiful spot for a picnic! Travel bug collected to continue on its adventures:-). Thank-you for the cache!
Kept an eye on this one for a while. Like the new spot enormously. Just dropped off a trackable.
After a bit of a big day today we made this the last of our run, we have been all over the area and so parked as close as we could on a public road, the walk down hill was good but knowing we would have to go up again in a few minutes.
Goose spotted the well hidden cache, and considering the container were both surprised that it was a bit wet inside.
Added our names to the before replacing as found.
Thanks for the cache.

We'd walked a lot today and my feet were sore but this cache is another one that has been taunting me for far too long. Without the kids, today was a good opportunity to grab it. Stainless-steel-rat hadn't found it either so he wasn't too hard to convince.
We parked at the bottom of Wootten Drive and scrambled down to the Alum Cliffs Track from there. It was tough on the knees but it was only a short distance. We then enjoyed the walk along the track to GZ. After finding the well hidden cache we did indeed take a seat. We sat down to sign the log book and take in the view but only for a short time. It was getting late in the afternoon and there was still a few more caches to search for. The hike back up to the car was tough and slow going for these poor old men!
thanks Dippedidooda, I still have quite a few of yours to find but am slowly ticking them off.

The GeoGSP and I headed out for a walk along the Alum Cliffs track today after the GeoGSP had a bit of a play at kingston beach. Found this one on our return trip as the seat was occupied on our first walk past. Lovely spot to sit down and enjoyed the views whilst signing the log. Thanks for the cache Dippedidooda.
I finally got around to walking some of the Alum Cliffs track today. (Hmmm, call myself a well-walked Hobartian? Apparently not!) I hadn't set off with caching in mind — I just needed a bit of a walk with some new scenery to get my step-count up — but it was nice to check my phone to see what was in the vicinity, and then be able to pick up this nice hide in a well-timed gap between the many groups of walkers out for a stroll. Thanks, Dippedidooda for allowing me to add a smiley to the step-count.
Quick and easy find given the hint. A pleasant walk on a nice evening, what a gorgeous view at GZ. TFTC
Today we walked along the cliff track and we found the box just lying in front of the tree. We put it back under the tree and covered it a little bit.

A nice walk on a part of the track we have not been on before. A nice spot to take in the view. TFTC
Hello Dippedidooda,
Thanks for keeping this cache active. It's in a great spot. We walked in by the Brickfields, the brick making area for the nearby Browns River Probation Station of the 1840s. A quick find once we got to GZ, but then the muggles arrived, so we had to sit and wait before signing the log. The muggles must have flustered me, as I think I may have written Aug instead of Sept, and then forgot to leave some TBs! We walked out a shorter, but steeper track up to Wootten Drive. Thanks for bringing us here (again).

Last time I went looking for this. It was gone. So glad its back. Good little cache thanks heaps. I built part of this track back in 2008 so it is always nice to come back here and think about the blood sweat and tears put into this place.
Weather good (although a little smoke haze). Great for a pleasant walk in this area. Amazing cliff views and quiet and calm above the river. A longer walk but very enjoyable -great to be out and about today.

I went for a maintenance check and it had certainly gone from where I'd placed it. After some time, I found it a few metres towards the cliff edge and over the fence, but definitely "hidden". I have re-jigged things and tweaked the hide...no need to cross over the fence. Hint updated.
On aussie day , cool and cool breeze, nice walk and cache TFTC TNLN log dry , great day
Found again with great new log but let MDKL take the lead because this was new for them. Great cache on one of Hobart's best walks. TFTC and new log.
Down from Melbourne for Easter. Out for a long walk on a beautiful day. Thoroughly enjoying the great walking track. TFTC.
Well, we were a number of years too late for the FTF, but we did get FTF in the new logbook!! So, thanks for replacing it for us to find, Dippy. We walked the Alum Cliffs track for the Kingston end, and this was a convenient seat to stop and gather our strength for the walk to the next cache. TNLN, TFTC.
Went for a jog today to check on cache, but it's gone. Will replace soon. Sorry for the wasted trip, guys.
Looked all around the left of the seat, but could not find it. Suspecting this cache has been unfortunately muggled
Looked really really hard by every burried rock but came up short, spent 30mins minimum digging through the scrub and came up short
I didn't find this one. Went for a walk with the little ones. Didn't take the clue, will try again soon.
Took some friends caching today, Quick find for the cheetah, while I was teaching them how to use the GPSr to get to GZ she had the cache in hand. Great views from this spot. Thanks for the cache.
With rain threatening we decided to play it safe and choose a short coastal walk. The Alum Cliffs track was very suitable and we were indeed pleased to have a seat on the walk north and again on our return to sit for lunch. No rain and some sunshine. Cache found easily. TNLN. Thanks Dippy.
A very nice location for a cache. Loved the views and the the nice walk. TFTC TNLN
We have been wanting to do this cache since it was first published but things have always conspired to prevent us. Today we managed to walk the track and retrieve the cache. Thanks Dippy for bringing us to this spectcular location.
Found it! Muggles around but went quickly. Not sure if there was supposed to be a travel bug in it but it wasn't in there. TFTC!
Found it! Another wiht Meankemi. Muggles around but went quickly. Not sure if there was supposed to be a travel bug in it but it wasn't in there. TFTC!
An early morning walk with the kids before breakfast. A few doggles and muggles about already! Kids swapped a penguin and chicken for the panda candle and bug key. Thanks for a great morning treasure hunt!
Found easily with hint.... Unfortunately the TB was gone!!

Quick find, again with the help of the hint. The journey that the original cache/logbook went on is quite amazing, considering that it has made it's way back home again.
No muggles at this one. Great hiding spot. Great location.
Took some newbie geocachers with us. They had a great time and really enjoyed this hide.

When Sue read out the hint, Jenny who was walking with us spotted the location. Left TB Dash to start his journey. TFTC Dippedidooda
The Alum Cliffs track is marked as 2 hours return, but it took us much longer; but stopping for lunch at beach front café accounts for that. We started at the top end off Sedgebrook Rd and collected the caches along the way. On return we walked along the northern direction to the final lookout and cache.

Glad to see you've put the cache back out there! Also, thanks for logging my find, despite it being random. Will swing by and re-log at some point in the correct location!
This is such a great walk, being doing it a few times lately, thought I better grab this cache now it's back out. TFTC Dippedidooda.
Trotted down the Alum Cliffs track after work to a nice little place to sit. After a sit, batteries changed, walkers passed by, and a bit of a hunt, found a well laid cache. Signed log (back at the seat). Took nothing. Thanks!

What a journey this little cache has had. Over the cliff and down to Tinderbox, where it was found by dreapadoir and dried out before being rehidden for me to collect, next to the Secret Gardens...and now in its new form (with old logbook) back in its rightful spot next the Alum Cliffs seat. It seems that people will hurl anything that isn't tied down, over the cliff...judging by the muggle entries who found it when looking for said rocks! One thought it was a time capsule!
Many thanks to dreapadoir.
Let's see how this placement goes.

Hey the cache is all dried out and will relocate when I get a free minute in the next week or so as agreed, likely near Secret gardens...
Oh my goodness, there's a message on the other Alum Cliffs cache, mentioning that the cacher, Dreapadoir found Alum Cliffs Have a Seat washed up and in bad condition, down at Tinderbox. That cache has been on an adventure! Someone obviously did take a seat, and pelted the cache over! (Sorry, I will replace the cache soon!)
Had a look for this one today, no luck. Then read the previous logs. Still a good walk along the track. TFTC
This one seems to have gone walkies. Will replace as soon as I can (although I'm NW at the moment).
Look twice !!! Up and back.... Found a hole at a base of tree cluster that looked like it was a hide.
The 11 of us left sad, but glad for the walk.

I didn't need the seat on the way down but I will need it when I get back to the top of the hill.
Lovely views.

Enjoyed the stroll from the picnic cache for another quick find.As previously logged the cache lid is cracked and there was water in the cache, although the log book is dry. Stayed a while to dry out the container and contents, which included a TB, now in a poor state with the chain broken, logged out of the cache in 2010 having been placed there by the CO in 2009. Will repair this and send it on it's travels. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found this one with Hawkhunter42. We both looked in different spots as we both interpreted the hint differently. I made the find a logged it. Walk is good. I was surprised it had been so long since it had been found.
Loving the view. Wonder what the boat is doing down below dragging a long yellow rope behind. The kids appreciated the easy find and the swaps. Tftc
TNLN TFTC. Covered it up as best possible, worried some strong winds may blow the cover away.
Lovely spot for being rewarded with an easy to find cache and a superb view. Container lid cracked but contents ok. TNLT SL TFTC
A muggle was seated with her four legged muggle at GZ, so had a chat while waiting for a moment to grab the cache which was highly visible. TFTC
Found with MtnLioness on our week-long sightseeing, touring and caching tour of Tasmania.
Simple little (Steep) walk down from the road. Quite a surprise seeing the cliffs there, TFTC.

Found in the company of MtbikerOz (Dad) on our week of Touring and caching around Tazzie.
Have only been able to log these once we got back to Melbourne.
Took the steep stroll down the hill, nice views, but the trek back uphill proved to ruin me as Dad was at the top while I was still halfway up, struggeling, panting and groaning.

Found without too much trouble during a pleasant walk along the track. It's been at least 30 years since I walked it, hopefully not another 30 before I do again! TFTC
