Followed the trail to what appears to be the hiding spot but no cache. Might need attention.
I had a lovely stroll while doing this Wherigo, I walked past the cache about 4 times on the stroll, and three times when I had the final. I determined from the past logs that the item just there was the one that needed attention. On my homeward journey I revisited and brought a TOTT that did a superb job of extracting said item. But no cache. Now I am really confused.
Out with Sir Spectre, mogni and JJ52 to find some caches north of the city. A great day weather wise and good company. I really enjoyed this one, a few inappropriate tools were used. TFTC Freddo, fav from me.
Sir_spectre, allister w, and JJ52 joined me for anothr geocaching adventure. We were on a BFE hunt But as always we managed to find a few others as we were passing nearby. A beautiful day to get out and visit the northern suburbs with some great friends.
Thanks to Freddo from mogni

The hard part was getting the " cache " out. 3 tools and about 17 minutes later we unfreed it. We found the bottom half of the old bison and the replacement bison from the last finder.
A group of cachers banded together to go out and have some much needed laughs ( and find a few caches ) now that the covid 19 restrictions are slowly winding back. Those cachers where sir_spectre, Mogni, Allister W, and JJ52. All logs today where stamps with the new " JAMS " stamp. The target today was to get a wherigo for this calendar month for sir_spectre, a multi on this calendar day for mogni and as many " REEL " caches as could north and east of the city. Any other caches where a bonus as we passed. Some caches found today one or more of the party had found, some one or more of the party had solved but not found, even 2 puzzles were jet skied. Again thanking BFE for mentoring through some of his puzzles found today.

A caching day was organised with sir_spectre, mogni, allister w and JJ52 heading out to the badlands targeting some BFE caches with a few others that we happened to be passing where one of us had solved the puzzle or had previously found the cache. We stamped all the logs with the new stamp "JAMS". [^]
I had previously solved (and found) some of the puzzles, but there were quite a few that I must now solve when I can sit down for a period of time to devote to those puzzles. Quite a number of BFE puzzles I had already found so was able to help in some instances with the finding of the cache. It was interesting revisiting some of the caches that I found in 2014.
On a beautiful day for caching we had a fun time and found lots of caches as we zig zagged around the north eastern suburbs.
Well that took a while...four of use looking and we decided what we thought was the cache but we couldn't budge it. After using some not very useful TOTT we managed to retrieve the cache after confirming with some previous finders that we did in fact have the right "thing"!
Thanks for the cache Slarty Bartfast.

Found with hevwalker after dinner on a still and hot evening, waiting for the cool change to hit.
Boy that took some work. Had to go and grab a tool that would work.

Well!!! that was fun...started in the daylight after dinner and finished in the dark by torchlight...
LiB & I both got our wherigos to work, which was a miracle in itself...
We wandered back & forth and around in circles at some waypoints...I will call them that, not sure if that is the correct terminology for a wherigo...
Any whoooo!!!!
Finally got "Freddo" dropped off and found GZ to the chorus of like minded critters...
We looked around and under...all by torchlight...then an "ah ha" moment...
Couldn't get the thing to budge so a TOTT was needed...
A trek back to where we parked the car...
It took some retrieving but it eventually budged...
A couple of minutes later we had the cache in hand...
Yay...A nice wherigo
Thanks for the Adventure, Freddo

Following a recent leap into the modern age of so called 'Smart Phones',
I am now able to indulge in an occasional bit of Where I Sorta Went madness
Me first attempt at a where I got to, a few weeks ago went pear shaped towards the end,
so fingers crossed I'd get it right this time [:o)]
This cache would make a fitting 'test cache' [^]
The first few waypoints were plain sailing on the pushie.
But it wasn't long before the inevitable 'intergalactic speed bump'
So a bit of to and froing was done,
with the confusion rapidly mounting [:o]
Where's me towel when I need it ?
It looked like the Frog had won this round
I'm not sure what happened next ...
... but as I sat there staring at the scenery,
I must have bumped something,
and progress toward the prize was magically made
After me enjoyable tour I arrived at GZ and soon spied the cache
Or had I ?? [:o)]
Gotta be the cache
Or is it ??
It won't budge !! [:o]
It's gotta be the cache
20 minutes later,
with skinned knuckles,
and sore fingers,
the logbook finally made an appearance
Just the loooong process of putting the cache back to go now
TFTC !!

Needing a few finds for the day I headed out after uni in search of a few finds. Have come through this area before but today was the day to clean up a few previous dnf’s. Parked near to the first cache I was after but with muggles right at ground zero I decided to walk to the next cache. Found that and walked to another one nearby, found that and walked to another before heading right back to the one I was originally after. With an empty gz the cache was quickly found and signed. An enjoyable afternoon were all caches were found in good condition.

I haven't been out this way lately, but after solving an unrelated Freddo puzzle earlier today (thanks for the nudge) I had to head out in the general direction of this whereigo. This was my first whereigo in the field and a great introduction to this type of cache. I think I'll be doing more in the future. TFTC.
So trying to keep my streak going. So wanted to collect a cache on the way to tonight’s event. Had originally planned to do a nearby multi but didn’t have time to walk to the starting coordinates so thought I would give this Wherigo a crack. Of course it had the usual Freddo twists which made it all the more fun.

Out and about on a road trip to Adelaide, I was particularly targeting Wherigo and letterbox caches but there are a lot of other interesting caches to be found, this being one of them.

Out on Wednesday Wanderings with the Puzzled Puzzlers. The lunch stop was at a convenient park with a cache and the illusion of time. The hoopy froods used various implements of mass destruction, including a towel, to extract the cache and make Owl's mark. She was looking forward to claiming significant unloved time, but now realises that a number of Vogons had virtually stolen it from her. With the Heart of Darkness unavailable to correct the situation, she'll just have to content herself with a good strong cup of tea and a smiley.
A quick Wherigo when you are on a bike. Unfortunately this one is not possible for myself to retrieve and like many others they have had a similar issue by the sounds of it. Hopefully this one can be fixed up. TFTC
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.
Cache appears stuck in its hidey hole, with last few geocachers unable to extract and log. It appears a previous geocacher had to use pliers to extract, so it may still be doable, but may need a CO checkup.

Did this Wherigo and thought it would be quite a quick one. Turned out it needed a bit of walking, and even more walking when I didn't properly read an instruction and take the item at one of the waypoints. Anyway it is a nice lake, and like many others before us, we found the cache but could not retrieve. Obtained photographic evidence and passed it to the CO, who granted us permission to log, thanks!
Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way back to Adelaide as well. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 6: A quiet day (ha!) in Adelaide, playing with Whereigos, Virtuals and a few other odds and sods. We held our event and was greatly impressed with the turn out. Flying home tomorrow just a few more on the hit list.

The SWAGJJ team has embarked on day 6 and are enjoying the caching pleasures of the Yorke Peninsula! So much on offer and such a wondrous part of our great land! So many caches makes for a busy and fun filled day! Lots of fun caches today with an amazing variety!! TFTC
This one was difficult to get out, we didnt in the end but given premission to log
Day 6 of the "SWAG-JJ" group tour of Yorke Peninsula and Adelaide. Got through this wherigo fairly quickly, which was good as we are on a tight schedule today! However, the hide would not budge today. Contacted the CO who gratuitously has let us log this one. Thanks!
Damn you freddo, i had onlookers watching me walk around in cirles up and down back and forth numerous time. The app crashed which meant i had to re do it all over again, this occured 4 times as it would not save, finally i was told where to go and after looking everywhere finally it was spotted. Retrieval of the cache was not possible so the call was made to the amphibian and was granted permission to log. Nice little location even though i know it like the back of my hand now haha
Muff1 were in town for a few days and we had spent the last two days and nights caching together. The first day we braved the badlands and the second the City. Tonight there would be a puzzled puzzlers meeting so Muff1 and I arrived early and headed out for a few caches until the others arrived. As had been the case the previous two nights we were after quality and not quantity. A call to another cacher who would be finishing work and looking for things to do before the meeting resulted in Anymules joining us. [:o]
Won't be a nano, Freddo hates nanos. That's a bit strange. Wonder what happens when you pull it.?
Nothing. DON'T PANIC. Get pliers from car and give a good pull. Slowly, slowly a cache that was not indeed a nano emerged from its muddy tomb. Surprisingly the log was bone dry. I think this whole area may have been under water/mud in the last big downpour. Thanks SlartibartFreddo.

Had been told about this Wherigo by a couple of colleagues who cache and recommended that I do it. So when I was watering nearby Geodaughters garden and had a few minutes to spare while the watering system worked its magic I thought why not give this a go?
So wandered over to the listed coordinates and started. Initially I was moving too quickly and a couple of times the cartridge was confusing me. Once I got used to how it worked and took my time, tings went rather more smoothly. The Seats of Learning cause me a little grief but after a bit of faffing about, worked out what I was doing wrong. After that I was soon at GZ pondering the final question, where would Freddo Hide a Cache. Had a look in a couple of obvious spots, with an obvious no result. Then I started looking in spots where Freddo would definitely hide a cache and quickly located the cache. Extracted log, signed and replaced as found.
Enjoyed this and am now on the lookout for more.

Our very first wherigo, awesome, enjoyed every minute. We are staying at the caravan park and leaving Friday
At the moment, we are in this element of weight loss and fitness stage, with fitbits and Garmin vivofits, we need our daily steps. Wherigo caches are always good to assist in these.
Made my way to GZ, a few days prior and the hide had changed due to mother nature adding her camo. I had actually must have touched the container before, but didn't Pursue in my digging abilities.
Fast forward a few days and the CO kindly made a visit to check out the surroundings and maintenance work.
I returned at 7am, and a favourite point for the CO's effort. Thank you for the involved set up and allowing us to return to make the find.

Arrived at GZ and noticed one of the items is full of white ants. Unsure if buried under debris, thanks Freddo

As a new user of Project GC, the date of this hide sent me this way today before the rains predicted hit. Told hubby we were going for a walk by the river.... he knew what I meant. Didnt quite play this right, and had to backtrack a bit. Got to GZ and my spidey sense told me where to look, muggle hubby looked elsewhere and then got upset he hadnt found it (there seems to be a new unwritten rule that if he comes along he makes the find) Thanks Freddo for the smiley, yet another wherigo and for the coloured square on our Hidden by Date grid.
I've completed a few WhereIGo caches previously but this was my first in Australia. It only took 15 minutes to complete the clearly defined tasks before the GZ was revealed.
At GZ I searched high and low for a good 15 mins but couldn't locate the cache. Then I spotted something out of the ordinary that I suspected was remnants of cache camo. I took a photo and emailed CO. I received a very prompt reply from Freddo confirming the cache has been muggled and was granted permission to log a find.
+1 blue ribbon for a fun cache.
Thanks for the cache Freddo.

My first WHEREIGO! And it was so much fun, a bit hooked on them now! I had asked Ismartis to help me do a Whereigo as I needed one to complete a Challenge cache. Well today was the day, and it was a great experience in a lovely community, interspersed with a tour of the local community garden by a friendly member. Thanks for the cache, really enjoyed the experience, have a fav point.
Gral4 had asked me to do a wherigo with her and I picked this one so off we set on our adventure in the unfashionable end of the galaxy. We started off well and were having fun & then we hit a roadblock which resulted in us making laps around the lovely water feature. In between we were invited to tour the local community garden where I was gifted some kaffir lime and lemongrass .
This was a good break from the frustration we were feeling . At this point if I had had a Freddo Frog with me I probably would have chosen to bite its head off!
A bit more sniffing of the herbs and a few more laps and we finally had the eureka moment .
As the saying goes, the rest is history.............
A favourite for me, thanks Freddo [^]

Adelaide trip September 2015. I spend five days driving to Adelaide taking some more remote routes across the river land area and exploring new places along the way. Day 11. Today was supposed to be a suburban caching day, and it started out that way, then I was tempted back onto the tram wherigo wasting more time reaching a dead end I was not able to crack. Otherwise I was able to get a few more city caches as well as a few suburban ones.
Thanks.

Day 2 in Adelaide and I thought that I would go for a ride along the Linear Trail and also complete a few caches. I thought that I would start the day off with a whereigo cache. I completed all steps quickly and soon had the cache in hand. The log is compacted at the base of the cache so I had to add another sheet. TFTC.
Completed with a Nokia Lumia 930 (Windows 8.1) using the Geowigo app.

Went for a walk with Purrfect Di and the energetic geodog Chloe.
Walk just happened to go past some cache finals that needed a log or two
Having travelled around the galaxy in search of cartridges wherever we went,
landing improbably nearby today seemed a golden idea.
We made a Dent in the cachemap without any garge blasters at all.
A little screwing around had a cache in Di's hand at the end of the caching universe.
So long, and thanks for all the caches

Fortunately we had A wherigo guru with us who could show us how these work. After a few wrong decisions and backtracks we were presented with a GZ. I am sure we were here earlier rethinking the clues. Hmm that looks odd thinks the Snake and wahoo the find was made. TFTW
We did this one on public holiday. The first Wherigo that we finish. Very interesting game, and nice park area. We tried in vain to find a frog in a certain stage, but only found out what to do with it after some time. In the end, the nicely camoed cache was in hand. Thanks Freddo for this enjoyable wherigo.
After searching all over and under the place. Finding things that may resemble containers but weren't, KiwiOzzie spotted something that looked different to the others. Bingo cache found. Thanks for my first Whereigo. Needs a new log in the cache though. Existing one is pretty full and wet.
My first wherigo and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Clever camo too!
Log very full and damp so may need replaced

Worked out and found by The Boofs TFTC ☺. Our first Whereigo cache and enjoyed it. Well after I worked out that you could pick things up!! Thanks Freddo.
Our very first "Wherigo" cache!!
We decided to check this out after ronso finally figured out yesterday that we could get a Wheigo app on the iPhone. It seemed pretty straight forward, just follow the directions :c) But soon realised there was a little more to it... and after a bit of wondering back and forth, we were finally pointed in the direction of the cache!! A nice sneaky hide :c) TFTC and the introduction to the Wherigo type!!

I ran out of time on my first visit, searching for a frog that wasn't there.
I'm surprised this cache isn't called Frogstar World B, given the amount of amphinians at this location.

Gotcha!
After an hour or two of crawling and hunched over walking of tunnels down beyond ultraviolet, TM and I decided that a nice upright walk in the sunshine was called for.
You learn something new every day, don't you? Well, today I learned that you can actually "pick up" things in a "where-I-go" adventure. Took me a couple of trips around the lake to work that one out.
But, with GZ finally revealed to us, it still took a few minutes of searching before the cleverly hidden non-nano cache was located.
Where? In the last place we looked, of course!
Thanks Freddo

Thanks to the emulator I already had the final numbers but walked back and forth with 4Z anyway. Between the app and not reading the entire information, it took a little longer than it should. Given some of the info in the notes, I suspect the cache has crept around 2ft. TFTC Freddo.
Incredibly there was only a single person around the whole time while we visited the lake and she just happened to be right next to GZ! It took another five minutes of waiting before she moved on and we could make the find. TNLNSL TFTC
After failing to take the last steps we struggled to find the cache in the wrong location! It wasn't there. A recheck had us at the GZ and there it was. Found with Grumpi68. Our 4th cache type this evening. TFTC again Freddo

My first whereigo, seeing as this was walking distance from home and I had a lazy Sunday I thought I should give it a go, loved it! Will be doing more of these. Clever camo!!
this is our second WIG a really warm day !! Thanks God for satellite images otherwise we get wet ^^
Thank you for show us this places we enjoy the hunt

I don’t know which one is harder. Finding your way to this park or walking around it without getting wet?
When I finally sat down there was only one more thing to do. Extract the conveniently and cleverly placed cache to claim another Wherigo find.

Needing a less common cache type to grab one of the souveniers for this month, I decided to hone in on this one due to distance and availability. I've been to this part of the burbs for caches before, including a secret santa package last year so I knew it was going to be a delightful stroll, and once again I was not disappointed. Did have to make a quick double back though as I was more interested in enjoying the surroundings than paying attention. Another great hide, TFTC Freddo!
Our second Freddo wherigo, slowly getting the hang of these things, enjoyed the walk and L enjoyed splashing around in the puddles on a cold wet winters day.

A lot of time was put in solving puzzles before leaving the West for the Oz Mega Event in Murray Bridge. Some of them have been found and many are still waiting to be found, but, with one day to go before our caching buddies fly back home to WA it seems that we have just about run out of time. We had great fun solving some puzzles while others that tested the brain.
We found a variety of caches today, some puzzles, some multis and some traditional, thanks for your cache Freddo, we had fun.

We had a lot of trouble downloading this cartridge but eventually with some assistance we were able to complete this mission. Enjoyed the wander in this lovely park that was situated behind our accommodation for our last few days in SA. Still have a fist full of solved puzzles that we have been unable to get to but always an excuse to come back to complete. Thanks Freddo for this well disguised camo that was not immediately spotted.
Found with gadanga and ttrogg after the nearby event.
Sorry for the late log.

Anzac Day and after the pancacke breakfast had digested I was off aong the bike path to find a few animal caches. After getting help from Astro with loading the Wherigo cartridge we were off to do our first Wherigo. After a few hiccups along the way we eventually found the well concealed cache and signed the log.
Thanks to Freddo for this cache

Home for us is Perth's Northern Suburbs but we have recently embarked on a trip around Australia with our Cat and Caravan.
Now touring SA after attending Oz Mega we headed out today to join cachers to celebrate the
ANZAC spirit and catch up with people we had met at the Mega.
We love Whereigo caches but boy did we have major problems getting onto the whereigo website to download the cartridge. Think its the old story dont do anything in a hurry! We only decided to do this cache once at the event and tried to download it using our Samsung Slate well that wasnt happening so then onto the samsung phone which eventually worked but moving the file to where we wanted it further proved challenging.
Thankfully honeysucker came to our rescue and we were off and racing.
All was good until we struggled to get the phone to navigate to 'the landing' zone eventually we gave up and headed to the logical spot then the phone eventually began agreeing [:o)]
Cache was soon in hand once we got there.

Found a few with Don't Panic Arthur and gadanga after the nearby Anzac Day Breakfast.

Camped at Murray Bridge, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Drove to Adelaide to attend an event, and spent the afternoon caching with FelixII.
Followed in their footsteps, and after a few detours, the log was eventually located.
An excellent suburban hide.
Many thanks for the hunt, Freddo.

Ahh - the humble wherigo... a mongrel to get set up I hear. I am always appreciative of those that set them up.
Sweet_bee and I were in the area and decided to grab this one. I am happy to report I had absolutely zero problems with this cartridge on Mio P550. Each step of the way was clear. A wonderful little area to explore as well.
I arrived at GZ and searched around for a while before I had a thought and soon had a very well crafted cache in hand. What a top cache - well set up and a great container.

I love Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and attempted this when I was over last year but failed to get the last stage to work. It turns out I'd missed a subtle piece of information which this time I quickly realised when visiting with Cats&Dragons this time around. It was great to finally tick this one off!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Having just arrived in Adelaide for the OZ MEGA 2014 Slieschke met me at the airport and was showing me some of the sights around and this was the first Wherigo for the journey,
Being familiar with the great designer of the fiords of both Norway and New Zealand (also having had a cat called Zaphod) this cache was always on the cards. Nice work on it once we got the required information
Great Urban hide
Thanks for the placement

Another day out with Team Robins on a perfect day for caching.
Not many muggles around and a reasonably quick find on all the hides.
A top area for a cache and a very very good hide too.
Thanks for the cache Freddo,

1455, GAFF1, This one took me a few goes to get to the end, I missed a task and had to back track a couple of times.
No muggles about made the final easy enough to find, and I got my share of exercise today.
SL, cache in good condition.

Wow. 4 years have gone by since I alpha-tested this cache, and even wondered whether the cache was placed whilst still in testing phase
Thought I'd put corrected coordinates into GSAK all those years ago, but alas I hadn't, and so had to try to remember GZ from a google map view 4 years ago
I was out by one, and with a DNF in my log notes decided to phone a friend, rather than Panicking and running off screaming (which would've embarassed Bek who was with me). Damm, I thought I'd checked them all - but a nice little hide and an easy retrieval even with a few muggles doing chores on their balconies.
A lovely little area, and nice to finally do the oldest Wherigo I could

Cheers

Because this cartridge doesn't play on Oregon units I armchair located GZ. I've also done this cache the right way following a a group with the right tools around but I didn't record a find that day. Today I grabbed a towel and babel fish and headed towards the Restaurant at the end of the universe. While watching the show I grabbed a cache (not a nano, no never a nano) and signed a log.
Thanks for the cache Slarty Bartfast.

Three people spent 30 min here looking everywhere, at gz which made sense as a location, and in a radius around it. Think it needs to be checked to see if it is still there. Enjoyed the stroll, even though we had to head back because we failed task 4
Took a bit of coercing, but managed to get to gz.
Thanks Freddo, & excellent hide/cammo

The bestie dragged me along in pursuit of another frog hide - Only my second wherigo cache [^] Thanks frogman from the letterless one
We rode the O-Bahn up to Tea Tree Plaza (because we had to see what it was like!) and came back to do some caches from Paradise to Klemzig. Our third cache along the walk, and our third ever wherigo. The wherigo all worked according to plan and was fairly quickly completed. Then came the hard part..... We spent far too long trying to find this one and once we did we were kicking ourselves for not spotting it earlier. TFTC Freddo, this is a rather nice area with accompanying "green" housing estate.
Having completed and enjoyed two WhereIgo caches, we were looking for another to attempt. This one was great as it extended our knowledge and understanding of this cache type because it used more features than we had experienced in previous caches. We enjoyed the wander around a very pleasant area and meeting the requirements of the cache. When then got to GZ and started to look for the cache. It took many minutes before we located this excellent hide. The cache and its contents were in good condition. This was a great cache - we really enjoy the WhereIgo format and the hide was excellent. Thanks Freddo for another very enjoyable caching experience. It certainly earns a favourite from us.
We had a fun time with this one. I enjoyed lounging around on the grassy knoll in particular. Almost didn't find it, since Bek-theraccoon was supposed to check there.. Luckily she had her favourite fishy friend with her! Thanks for the cache, Freddo!
A quick and easy wherigo in an area I haven't been to previously. Made the search at GZ harder than it needed to be and Traut's fin eventually found it. A quick sign and replace and on our way back to the nest.

Our 3rd day of caching in Adelaide, today we teamed up with Earthlight & with her local knowledge of the area made this a very interesting & successful day of caching.
This was the 1st whereigo that we have completed, must try it on our own next time.
Thanks Freddo

One of my main objectives for today was to get to this Wherigo and give it a go . I'd downloaded the cartridge to my trusty Oregon 450 but for the first time ever it let me down on a Wherigo [B)]. Every time I pressed play it gave up and shut down [:(!]. Lucky for me I had some alternative technology so I headed back to my car to fire up my Android tablet... Never used it for a wherigo before but I had downloaded the Whereyougo app [^] Also fired up my pocket wifi so I could download the cartridge into the tablet [|)] With that accomplished I headed back to the start of the game and let the fun commence The wherigo ran smoothly although I think I had to walk a bit slower than I usually do when I'm using my Oregon for a wherigo as the GPS seemed to need to catch up a bit sometimes.. Only spot of bother I had was the first time I encountered Freddo I didn't seem to be able to complete the action. Second time I tried that it worked fine. So where would Freddo hide the cache? Exactly in the first place I looked. Very cool, mission accomplished, log signed, wherigo completed, no Vogons (or muggles encountered). Time to head off in search of a towel, salted peanuts and lots of beer... TFTC, Biggles.
That was fun! While atending the nearby Christmas event, an opportunity to join a group heading off for this whereigo came up - it was a really enjoyable team activity - thanks Freddo - we must see if we can get some more local Wherigos on our short stay in Adelaide.
