Started this one about a year ago but forgot the required information to proceed. Back today for a quick find at the final. Great little park. TFTC

04-Oct-10
Solved the puzzle easily with a little help from my sister. Pleased I remembered to take my working out stuff to GZ though!
A lovely place with no mugggles around which made it easier. TFTC

A great song and seemed rather apt after a week of solving Whakatane puzzle caches, '" I think I'm turning Geekanese, I think I'm turning Geekanese, I really think so!"
Lovely setting for this one but very wet indeed, ducks were swimming quite happily in the 'puddles' forming on the lawns. No probs at WP1 but final threw me a little as I was expecting something different size wise and needed an additional hint, I should of paid attention to the listing details.

17-Jul-10
Better luck today, as the area was muggle free - yay! To be honest, it took us a while to find WP1 [8)], as we were searching too far off to the side. Found it when we had a more thorough look. Lovely cache!

13-Jul-10
The 14 yr old is learning Japanese at school so he just had to do this one. Thanks for drying out the cache so we could complete our find.

27-Jun-10
First visit, a very friendly beer-drinking muggle was in residence. Tried again a couple of hours later, and he was still there. Never mind, we'll try again another day!

17-Jun-10
All dried out and back safely in its hiding spot, just as well we took it home after the may flood, as the 1st of june flood would probably have been the end of it!!

30-May-10
found it down the way a bit, half full of water, tried to dry it out best we could but the log book was sodden wet needs to be replaced. put back in original hiding spot as shown by oOmotorheadOo.

30-May-10
Big GrinHave removed the cache container to dry the contents out in front of the fire at home, will be up and running again soon.

25-May-10
Disabling until able to check, as may have suffered in the lastest storm!

21-May-10
As usual needed help with these ? caches, but TFTC
took Jeep TB which had been there since start of month.

01-May-10
Luckily Mrs Motorhead speaks Japanese which made deciphering the puzzle pretty easy. A nice quick find by Mr Motorhead once at gz!
Left the Jeep TB, TN, TFTC!

Enjoyed doing the puzzle some time ago, and a great location for the waypoint. Had even remembered to have on hand the necessary information. An easy find at the final. Thanks.

Finally solved the puzzle with some help from friends based in Japan. Needed to negotiate our way around a sleeping man on the nearby park bench but K's stealth was impressive. No trouble with the final although our GPS showed both WP1 and the final to be a little out.
+ Sushi TB which is kind of appropriate Smile

03-Feb-10
Well that wasn't too hard. Thanks for an interesting final gz.

03-Feb-10
Oh yes, there is a pen but it doesn't go, bring your own for a while.

After a sodding wet WP in October this was on our half finished list! Knowing we were coming back over this way we came armed with clue solving ability and sorted quickly. Had a long wait at GZ while two ladies with four dogs caught up with their happenings! Easy find by return2nai, TFTC.

21-Jan-10
Solved a while back and completed the 'paperwork' today. Placed Travel Slug which I hoped to place in Stargate in Taranaki a couple of weeks ago but unfortunaletly wasn't able to. Thought I'd bring it nearer to it's owner.

08-Jan-10
Quick find of WP after muggles left then easily calculated and on to final. Thanks heaps Geckoh.

04-Jan-10
My daughter loved helping me with this one!!! It was raining when I found this one - so very happy to find this and enjoy the green of the plants. T4TC

02-Jan-10
Quickly solved the puzzle at home prior to our trip and a quick find of WP1 then more work to be done before heading for the final. Quick find T4TC.

02-Jan-10
Fairly straightforward with the right resource on hand ( literally, in the iPhone ). Biggest problem was persistent muggles at the waypoint.

Great spot for a cache... no issues extracting the final co-ords, we think we’re turning Japanese. Visited the owners afterwards... to thank them in person for their great caches.

[Another Geckoh bites the dust...waypoint container had water in it, clues ok in the ziploc]

17-Oct-09
Found WP1, but alas the puzzle was rain sodden and clues mostly washed away. Deciphered a couple of scratchings, but not enough left to move to next stage. Sad

17-Oct-09
Have new waypoint sheet ready to go, will fix up this morning, didnt think it would be able to get wet under there!! Will bag new waypoint info.

17-Oct-09
All good again

09-Oct-09
3TF. An enjoyable puzzle. We visited the waypoint last night and took the puzzle back to the motel, but in fact it was easily solved anyway. TFTC

06-Oct-09
Thought I had it right, however the geochecker proved me wrong which is why I had a bit of trouble working this out first time around. Better luck today, and solved without any more problems. TNLN TFTC

03-Oct-09
Geochecker added.

30-Sep-09
Ahhhh grasshopper,we have solved. Thanks very much for the lesson.
Another reason to raid your village of the rising sun.
But not today Sad

30-Sep-09
Ahh, but the lesson is....You have not solved until you find it.
And under the setting sun we solved the "whole" puzzle
and very quickly the honorable cache was in our hands.

Another spur of the moment adventure, a mad dash to the cache, and a very enjoyable FTF.
