After a great night camping back on the river, it was time to head back home, but we decided to grab the two caches here in the forest on our way out.The track along the river is in really good condition so it didnt take us long to get here, that part was nearly quicker than the time it took us to find the cache as it was quite buried in debris due to not being found for a couple of years. The container itself is in pretty bad shape but the log book was dry and able to be logged, but by the looks of it, it hasnt always been that way and will suffer with the rain event. We hid it back with a bit of wood on top of it to create a roof for it, but if the next finder can bring out a fresh container and log book to keep it going as we didnt have any spares on us to do the maintenance.Cheers

Hi Megatronic, I found Thompson's Swamp today. It was great to be able to find this after such a long period of not being found. The container is broken but there is a fresh Ziploc bag in there and everything is dry. However the logbook is mouldy. Still able to be signed though.
Many thanks Megatronic for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

This is one of the caches we found, with a good early start, on a great day's caching south east of Kerang in the company of fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** With eleven years on the gameboard, this cache is really due for a refresh of cache and contents for future seekers. please.
Our thanks to 'Megatronic' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Suscoe headed out today in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We had a big day out with lot of finds covering many kilometres.
The countryside around this area is interesting with irrigation, hills, water, crops and livestock that were looking great.
Thanks to megatronic for this hide, what a terrific journey out here.

Bit of a bonus this one, was using the GPS to navigate the trails and noti=ced a cache not too far away.
Thanks for bringing us to see this magnificent forest. The forest has generated itself after the bogging. TFTC
Found it on an afternoon ride and didn’t bring a pen! The box is cracked and the logs are wet, so it may need a bit of maintenance
We spent a few days at the Gunbower area and looking for some Caches. This was one of them we found. It was a nice area withe the river. Thank to all CO forv the Caches.
Thompson’s Track is closed at the moment so we parked at S35 45.073 E144 15.728 and walked the 800 metres to the cache. It was an enjoyable walk but the flies were annoying and the mozzies were hungry so don’t forget the repellent and fly veils.

Rex and I headed for Cohuna with the kayak on Harry [^] and the air con on full blast as it was a horridly hot day There was 1 event attended, 2 DNFs and 9 cache finds including a few kayak caches [^] I had lunch from a pub in town and both Rex and I enjoyed waiting in the cool as they cooked my sweetcorn fritters [^]
Rex swam out to the first kayak cache, 100m from the shore rather than staying backand waiting with micaparamedic who had just arrived at the launch point [|)] He then climbed onto a log as I found the cache [|)] and then sat on my legs where he thankfully sat still [:X] and did NOT tip me out! [^][:X] Once I paddled him back to shore, I had micaparamedic chain him up [^].... then I heard howling as I paddled off to the other 2 kayak caches left in this cool area
After the paddle, we headed down Rifle Butts Road and suddenly I realised that Rex was panting [?] and I was sweating[?] as the aircon had stopped working after only being regassed about 6 weeks ago Seems the corrugations in the area are tougher than Harry
Pretty sure I had a touch of heatstroke too after the paddle and the day's heat and by the afternoon I was a blubbering mess [xx(][|)] However there was still caches to be found and so we made our way slowly home with tea being from the Top Shop in Echuca [^] and eaten at the cemetery with the unexpected and lovely [:X] company of Mr and Mrs WazzaAndWenches [^][:X]
Nothing swampy here today : it's as hot and dry as I imagine Hell is!
Found the cache though so that made me smile despite the heat!
As I have been about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

Lovely part of the world. Saw a number of emus around the park while looking for caches. Thanks for the cache.
The last of three cache found in here today - wouldn't want to be here after much rain.
The swamp is fairly empty today, so didn't get wet feet. Lots of native animals, but no snakes luckily. A nice easy find & a nice place to visit. TFTC
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Great hide thanks, only very minimal water damage to old log books. No pen though and we forgot to pack one :/ thanks
We parked on the side of the road and walked into this one. We were very conscious of the possibility of finding some slithering things on our travels but we were very pleased we saw none in this area today. We arrived at GZ a bit disheartened at all of the possible hiding spots but were so relieved when Beckster22 located the well hidden cache quite quickly. The cache was nice and dry and in great condition. Thanks Megatronic for the hide.
Caching today with Tomsatche, Glanville Girls, Motndarg and Beckster22.

Did some high stepping here, fortunately there were no snakes sighted. This area would be interesting in the winter months. A brief search and Beckster22 had cache in hand.
Wow, the car convoy pulled up to GZ and we all bailed out. After our snake sighting earlier in the day we were all on edge in this area with many places for one to be hiding. After nervously putting our hands into lots of hidey holes Beckster 22 made the find. Thanks for the hide Megatronic.
Caching today with Beckster22, McLookers, Motndarg and Tomstache.

Thoroughly enjoyed the historic drive along the Murray while stopping off for a few days in Cohuna. Found quickly.
Camping nearby over Easter, this was our closest cache and an easy find. One of the 7 kids did a fantastic rendition of Michael Jackson when he walked through a Golden Orb Weaver's Web.

Making a round trip to clear a few caches nearby that haven't been able to get too for ages. GPS wanted to go back onto hwy from Ericas Easter explorer (GCA), but a little local knowledge and we drove along the river track from Koondrook to here, then into town.

This was our 8 of 12 for todays cache hunt, Find number 1615 at 1:44:00 PM
We are out and about grabbing a couple of caches whilst at the Cohuna matata event, what better way than with a weekend away.
Almost a driveby this one.
Loved the bush sounds as a background sound track.

Finally found it. Came here several months ago but all tracks leading from cohuna were blocked by water. Today we ventured in via the river road entering from koondrook and had success. But it seems all tracks are well and truly dry now so after stopping for a spot of fishing in the Murray we will leave via cohuna. TFTC

The older log books are very wet and mouldy and detract from the cache so I left them out of the plastic bag and placed them under tha cahce container in the hope that they will dry out a bit.I thank you for the cache megatronic trusting that I have done the wright thing.

Beautiful location .... iPhone lost coverage in the last 100m but a bit of guess work had the cache in hand quickly TFTC ..... Tnln original two log books saturated (put them in a separate sealed bag) but the new one is crisp and dry
Found by Roma and Max.
We have been thwarted a number of times from attempting this search as either the approach was flooded or time constraints interfered!
However today conditions were perfect and we are pleased to now remove this one from our to do list.
Thanks Megatronic for choosing such a nice spot for a geo visit.

Found this one in the company of 'The Comrades' who had the 4 WD! The forest abouts this location is extraordinary to my City dulled eyes. It was like being a floral wonderland. The cache is placed in a terrific, out of the way of sorts location' which I appreciated. After a short 'bush bash' the cache was to hand though it is quite waterlogged, so much so we could not fill in the log but left a calling card instead. Drained out the water and dried the cache and its contents as best we could. Thank you 'Megatronic' for the cache and especially its location.
sorry all- wrong location- similar name we have not attempted to do this one

An awesome location for a cache! Thanks! Junior cachers loved the loot. Took bouncy ball & toy dinosaur, left notepad & pen.
Thank you for this nice cache.
I am logging this find with my new and own account now, as the former team has been split up.
Thus, please excuse that by recapitulating all the GC codes, some of the dates may be confused.

Great cache. TNLN. Took me a while to find as the iPhone isn't that accurate and there is about a billion possible places within the 400 square metre accuracy I was getting. TFTC
