As this cache has been in need of CO attention for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. After checking on cache to ascertain if it was indeed wet, I find that someone has lost the cap of the nano, which would explain why it must've seemed wet… however, true to it's name,m the Rite in the Rain log sheet was still perfectly sign-able.
However, due to the loss of the cap, I can't expect that it will stay so for too long, I have therefore removed the container until I can get some replacement Nano's.
I wish people would be more careful when it comes to Nano caches, and LEARN HOW TO REPLACE THE LOG PROPERLY!
Gah…. sorry for the small rant, i'm sure there will be plenty of people who know the feeling though.
Cache is not currently in place.
CO has been out of the game for over 12 months so not sure how much longer this cache will remain as I don't really want to keep spending money on it to keep it in play.

The log sheet that I used for replacement is Rite in the Rain, so recent heavy rain should not have made a difference. I will however stop by and check on the cache.
Thanks for this. We had been at the Foxton Fair, then decided to take the kids to the beach. After watching them boogie board in the waves for about 3/4 hr it was a wee reward for the adults to find a cache while they warmed up in the car. We didn't need the gps using the description and the hint made a simple, satisfying find.
A stellar summer day was spent with Mum & the dog at the beach; this was a quick find after detouring from the estuary trail. Thanks for the hunt, LeftyNZ.
Found it but was worried about getting the log back into the container we didn't write on it sorry.
So glad I didn't drop it in cos there's no way I'd be diving in there haha. Nonchalantly swiped it while muggles picnicked right across from me. Super stealth me... TFTC
Out and about with Dolly73, noticed this cache site is being repaired by the council. Retrieved cache and will hold until repair work is complete.
Wow. First place I looked.

I just put a fresh log in this cache this morning. Happy hunting cachers!
Thought I'd do a site check seeing that there had been a recent DNF, cache is still in place, log book needs to be replaced, I'll keep an eye on it and if it hasn't been updated by the time my new labels etc arrive I'll replace the log.
Didn't find it last time we were here nearly a year ago - but our 8 year old is very proud to have found it today!
We picnicked within 30m and it was a race between adults whilst the kids played.
Easy find, had to hold it for a while when some muggles showed up.
Signed and hidden again.

Kids went straight for the play equipment, leaving Mrs 1Grunta and I to find the cache.
Didn't take long - I could see it as I walked up.

A challenge to retrieve this one whilst trying to appear casual in a gale! Nice location.
Height definitely helps but luckily metal-art had the reach that I lack. Fish were leaping out of the nearby pond, stopped to watch for a while.
Quick find while on Scout Jamboree, based in Feilding. Had been out to Foxton Beach for M'ega Beach off-site day activity with the scouts, and snuck away for a quick cache grab!

Had to come back to find this one - too many muggles around. Once we could access the site, we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
On a dog day at the beach expedition and thought we would get in a couple of caches - endmosteye44 found it (he is taller) TFTH
Looked in all of the initially obvious places and worried it had been dropped in the pond. Then decided to climb up the structure and I spotted it. The CO must be much taller than me, because there's no way I could have reached this without climbing. Signed the log as H3 to save space. TFTC.

A quick find thanks to the hint. Easily found despite the children playing at the skateboard park. TFTC
What a fantastic space for everyone to enjoy - well done Foxton A great place for a cache. Took me a moment or two to spot this cache but managed it in the end. I didn't let go of it.

A nice new logbook to fill in, but that meant we had to choose which end to start from. [?] Decided to start from the middle so that later logs don't have to unroll so far. Mr All7ofusNZ kept muggle-watch while Jr Cacher #2 grabbed and replaced the cache. TFTC.
Found it!Good cache!Micro!?More like a nano to me!Also, the log is full with entries and needs to be replaced with a new one.TFTC!!
This little magnetic could not hide itself very long. My kids enjoyed the playground. Thanks.
lol I was to short had to require setucurst help for this one - log needs replacing you may get one more name on it
After dinner and looking for activities to entertain the kids. We decided to drive out to Foxton Beach.
Another awesome park; plenty for the kids to do. Found the cache before heading to the park for a quick play. TFTC.

Great little cache this one! Junior loved the challenge of jumping over the puddle onto the platform of the lookout and back

Grabbed this while we were out for the Foxton Beach New Year Festival. We had a nice picnic lunch and let the kids play at the park.
definitely a memorable cache! was almost dismissed for "some other strange" thing by a few newbies with us! TFTC
