Owner needs to visit this , confirm it still there, or replace (or archive) Not found since April, and obvious there has been several searches.
back, armed with detailed description of where to look from previous finder. Still no joy. One has to wonder about this one, given there has obviously been some searches not logged as DNF
Oh grrr. Back for another go at this. The long grass is well trampled as if there have been many others here. But beatten again. Shame , as this is a nice walk.
Dropped down from Cross Roads on the Withers cache, no luck in finding, then headed back to the top again without claiming cache. Bit disappointed, but a great day to be up here in the hills.
Our daughter and family living in Blenheim wanted to show us their favourite walk on the Wither Hills, so we pack a picnic and make our way up to the Rotary Lookout. Surprisingly there is no cache at this great spot, but there is one 1.2 km up the valley. Head up the track, and made my way to Quail Crossroads. Managed to locate the cache after a bit of a search, then headed back to the family. Great walk, thanks.

Out and about in the Marlborough area picking up more caches today with BaldEd.
Met up with another cacher on our way back down the track.
Cheers for the cache.

Tufty and I enjoyed the 1.3km walk up/down the valley to/from the cache. I used it as a limbering up exercise for a longer walk that I have planned for tomorrow. The previous finder was a muggle who was there releasing pheasants. Brown is the new black (courtesy of the Butterfly Lady and Radionut). Thanks for the cache.
I finaly found it!
I was almost ready to give up and then I found it!
"Are you sure that you don't have the australian red back spider in the area? There were quite a few which looked like the one they warned me off in the Alexandra i-site in Central Otago!"

A lovely walk up the valley this morning. A little hunting to find the cache, which was wet inside. Cache location may be a run-off spot during rain.
Replaced the cache with a sistema, including new dry log. Have taken the past log with us, and hopefully it will dry out.
A perfect day for the walk here - high overcast meant for a mild walk.

I will temporarily disable this listing until I can get back to Blenheim and check up on it... Cheers.

but nice place nice walk in
found last year, remember the walk. Updating this weekends finds from GPS when realised hadn't updated a Blenheim weekend[:0]
lovely area to walk to, but , after being brought all the way here, disappointment at not being able to find what seems to be a tricky hide (maybe un-necesary ? )
Hey this walk in was great, real disappointed that we came up with a DNF after spending alot of time at GZ, looked high, low and around.
Nice quiet spot. Couldn't find cache even returning for a second visit couldn't find it.
1335hrs If you park at the Quail Stream carpark the terrain is definitely only one star. Easy quick find, Sad though the cache was again full of water, log book unuseable. Sorry to say that the cache container is of the type that has a plug lid so water is going to get in, oh dear. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Walked here after finding "Sport of Kings", the cache is very wet, I tipped out at least 1/2ltr of water, couldnt write on the log. thought of taking it out with me to dry off but we are only here for 2 weeks, and not sure if I can get back here. Lovely walk to this spot
Was a great walk- very busy track! Everything is very wet inside the cache so was unable to write in the book.
I was very pleased to finally get out for a walk after a pretty intensive four days. These Wither Hills have their own unique beauty. TFTC #1273
#1290 (4/22, day 3/4 of Easter trip to Blenheim). Another nice valley walk. A few navigation issues at the end, but got there eventually. TFTC.
Walked on to this after Wither Hills Wander. We took the wrong turn at the end and had to do a bit of a downhill scramble to get to GZ. Terrain rating 1 1/2 stars a bit of an under assessment.
TFTC.

Took a bit to find- cow poo, huge spiders & alot of other track users made it a nice little challenge! TFTC!
Quickish find after a nice walk. Emptied the water our and gave it some drying time.

Thought we'd pick up this one during our run but weren't successful. Brown hills in the sun with looming dark grey skies to the south made for some wonderful photography.
We found it! Its a really nice picnic spot and the cows weren't there but there were obvious signs that they had been there. We placed a Elephant rubber.
On yet another work visit to Blenheim so found yet another cache. Nice to have this walk before facing the drive back to Christchurch. -coin.
A nice quick find after a very good walk from the far end of Hospital Road, lovely spring morning for it, we thought we weren't going to see any quail but then just before gz there they were right on queue. I wonder if the cache owner realises that they walked within 12m of one of our caches when they came up to place this one. -TB +geocoin TFTC.
Nice walk up the valley. Unusually green at the moment. Found cache after a bit of poking around. Took TB's and left Desert Mouse TB. TFTC
Another FTF away from home. Easy find, after dodging the cow manure, which there was lots of. Nice walk and lots of friendly fellow walkers. Dropped in two tbs. TFTC
