This cache has been deactivated as cache and contents have been muggled.

Juding by the disable log, I believe the Owner actually intended to archive this one - but did not. The owner has not been online for over 5 months. Could this one be put to sleep please?

06-Apr-11
Are there plans to re-activate this cache? If not, can it please be archived? Thanks.

Due to muggling, this catch has been closed down. The entire cache has been taken from its secure location. The contents of the cache have not been found and the ammo box has been taken. Recent weather conditions have caused flooding in the area and the first stage has floated away, the final stage has been muggled. The owners of the Travel Bugs contained within this Geocache have been notified.

My GPS was wandering about and put me into an area where I ended up with wet shoes and socks.

I gradually zeroed in and luckily the WP was in plain sight.

It took a while to realise where I had to go for the cache but I found it in the end.

Opended the log book and found some inappropriate scribblings and drawings from muggles dated yesterday.

I removed the offending pages. Took the Tonka Truck TB and was packing it all up when I heard children voices coming from the creek less than 15 metres away.

Luckily I had time to replace the cache and exited a different way.

Found at 1512 with Marg. A nice walk in a suburban park Cache OK and dry. TFTC.

The first WP didn't want to be found for some time. I was doing the arrow dance when I happened to look around and saw it sitting there. I was trying to get to a point some metres away at the time. No matter, I had the co-ordinates for GZ, so set off to find the cache. Had to bide my time on the nearby bench seat while a father, 3 children and 2 dogs did the communing with nature thing. They eventually left and I was able to track down the cache. Saw a likely spot and was instantly rewarded with the hollow clonk sound of an ammo box being poked with a stick [^]. TN/LN/SL and killed a gazillion mozzies.

24-Apr-10
Found appropriate GZ but no luck finding cache. Stayed until mozzies had eaten their fill then gave up and returned home..... Sad

08-Mar-10
I'd suggest you stay away from this one after its been raining. The mosquitoes had a feast. Took the lady pirate for a cruise.

27-Feb-10
A nice little wander around here today. Bit of rain about so plenty of wildlife here and there.
Cache all ok, Took nothing but left a TB.

19-Feb-10
Both caches ok. What a lovely spot. Saw heaps of birds and butterflies. Would be a great place to bring kids. No swaps only wrote in the log.

With notofocation that this one was all good to go again, Svn07 and I headed in... We found a conventient car park and wanderred over the bridge to WP1 which was a nice easy find once we had found the track in... [^] Armed with the coords for the final, we strolled back over the bridge and tracked to GZ...

The final hidey hole is excellent... Not too many of those around and the container fits perfectly... Very nicely hidden for a container of that size... Big Grin

I took a TB and coin, and left a TB.

Cheers Cacheya Later.

My choice of parking spot ended up being quite conveniently located near the final GZ. Gunnie69 found the initial micro without trouble, and after a bit of an attempt to go "direct" to GZ, we tracked back and made our way back over the bridge. Have been here before and failed to find the now archived cache. Great to discover this terrific hidey hole which seemed to be made for this cache. No risk this one will be washed away Wink.

Thanks for the cache cacheya later. Cheers, svn07

Found the first part but haven't found the second part yet...... A lot of crawling through the bushes on this one....TFTC

As of today this cache has been simplified to a two-stage. The co-ordinates have all been updated to represent the new changes. Happy Caching

Very sorry to say we tried to find this one again today and headed straight for waypoint two having completed waypoint one on our earlier expedition. Owner had confirmed the location of waypoint two and we couldn't have searched it more thoroughly, I'm sure. I reached in and kept searching until I was covered with ants. Then my geocacher friend actually got the whole top half of her body in there with a torch and still couldn't find the cache. Very brave! All she did find was the nest of the thousands of ants that were attacking us. We were still finding ants crawling around in the car and on ourselves several hours after our visit here. I'd be very pleased to hear if waypoint 2 is still there but it beat us today. We must have spent a good 15 minutes searching that one small location. A very good effort considering.

Sad to say we were unsuccessful again. I got down on the ground and squeezed into the space indicated but even with a torch could find nothing. The little bitey ants found me alright. Made note not to carry bag to cache but put it down somewhere ants won't crawl all over it. You need spray repellant before tackling this one, the roll on was not enough. So sorry we couldn't find it because we had a bag full of TBs we wanted to drop off. Ah well, we just had to put it behind us and keep caching............

Before I forget, we found a very large snake skin that a (very large) snake had sloughed off recently. You know what they say: where there's a very large snake skin there's a ....................very cautious geocacher! You have been warned.

This was the second part of a geocaching day after our visit to Straddie. Another time consuming hunt that got us nowhere. I see now what looks like WP2 isn't (photo with previous log) but we couldn't find anything else that looked likely. The creek was in flood. It seemed a short walk to WP2 until I felt water seeping into my shoes. Hmmm, maybe not that way. So we drove around and walked across the creek. Adorable baby moorhens on an island in the creek. Great green water dragon on a log. I got sidetracked by the wildlife while Aussie Liahona plugged on. Felt sure they would find it but then I had to get busy and pull my weight. Disappointed so will wait until we see someone else has found it. Pity because we had TBs to lodge in the Hotel.

Well, Cacheya Later - where were you today???? Reading last couple of logs it sounds like you hang around that cache offering help. We couldn't find you today - or the cache. We found Waypoint 1 o.k. Went off for Waypoint 2. Had to go the long way around as the creek was flooded and prevented us continuing along the same side of creek to Waypoint 2 unless we wanted to wade. Got to Waypoint 2 and checked the co-ords on 3 separate GPS's and all agreed on the same location. But no joy in there for us. Not wanting to give up we searched all other likely spots in a 10 metre radius but came away empty handed. We were very disappointed as we'd come quite a distance. After finally giving up on Waypoint 2 we checked other locations travelling in the same direction for the cache, but didn't find anything. As it appears other experienced cachers have needed help we didn't feel too incompetent, but would have loved another clue.

At Primary Schools National Softball Championships at Redlands with SA state team, so took opportunity to do cachng -may have introduced others to this great pastime. This multi is in a lovely park near to softball grounds. Found wp1 easily, but needed a bit of help with wp2 -thanks cacheya later- successfully found 'hotel' and took 4 residents back to Adelaide to continue their journeys. Many thanks.

Hi - I'm up from Adelaide with softball - going back tomorrow - friday. Found first waypoint, but at second, despite the big "hollow" could find nothing. Please sms me the next coords (0408 895 328). If time will check out after last game and before flight. Will remove this once back home. Ta.

A day to catch up on some unfinished business, both here and down south Razz
I parked the geomobile near the mango van (Yes!! Mangoes by the boxful for ten bucks).
What a shame I don't like mangoes Big Grin

My mission here was clear though and I quickly headed off to search for the wayward waypoint again Razz
But before I could start my search, a couple of 'muggles' popped into view out of the bushes [:o]
"Are you caching ?" they asked.
That question somehow translated in my addled brain to "Are you catching ?"
I wondered why someone would assume I was fishing here Red Face
The lightbulb soon came on though Big Grin
Hello "cacheya later" Big Grin

That's the second time today I've been muggled by the cache owners [:o]

Half of team "cacheya later" graciously retrieved the next waypoint for me and saved me another case of ants in the hair Big Grin
Appreciated [^]

I wandered off to find the cache Razz

This was a great multi in a very nice area and I was happy to get to enjoy Hillards Creek twice [^]
All you "arrow followers" will be in for a treat on this cache.
I had a lot of fun just getting to waypoint 1 Big Grin

The cache is well stocked.
Please take extra care in rehiding the box though as this area is popular with the local kids.
I took "Lil'l Ling LIng" TB, the "Luling, USA" unite for diabetes TB and "Harry's Car" TB.
I left the "British Royal Marines: Brothers In Arms" TB and "Berry Boy" TB.

TFTC and fun and games [^]

Geocycling around the redlands this morning and I couldn't resist the detour on the way home to explore Hilllards Creek Smile
Trying to find the way in to the first waypoint took me in a complete circle and several detours into the scrub before I found the correct path Red Face
With waypoint one found I headed for waypoint two, which I had already been past once Smile
But the wheels fell off the search here.
I looked in a couple of likely hiding holes.
The evidence shows that many others have also looked in these likely hiding holes too [:o]
No waypoints found, so I checked a few other possibilities, but alas, still nothing to go on Sad
I wandered around and poked in a few other spots in the hope of stumbling upon the cache or another waypoint, but after half an hour it was obvious this was a DNF !!
Nice park which I'm sure I will be riding through again Razz
