Over 8 years since half a container was found and the inside of the tree looks to have been burnt out at least once since, this seems to be a goner. Who knows, not me
Found the base of the container a very improvised repair and it's a log.
Thanks for the cache Roaminfree

Must have just missed Karicka. Found his replacement lid and log along with a sleeping possum who's leg I almost tugged on. Tftc
Unfortunately I have had to archive this geocache as I no longer live in the area so can no longer maintain it.
I almost got inside there omg!!! What a cache. Sadly no trackables though but still a great cache!
[Blue]# 12398[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another very warm winter day to find a few more caches around townsville.
A strange tree, and I discarded a bong found in with the cache.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.
Thanks for the cache roaminfree,

12:09:00 PM. Out riding our bikes around again before heading back to Ayr. Was good to find this one after a DNF last year. It was is the open and took a bit to get out. Signed log and rehid. Thanks roaminfree for placing this cache.
WOOHOO! Finally found one that hasn't been stolen! Lucky we bought our skinny geokid!!
Had to wait a good 20 minutes for a gap in the muggles even though it was early morning
Stuck my hand in too many uncomfortable spots before making the grab
Really recommend gloves!

Great spot, a lot of muggles at the time though, kids were getting frustrated and more and more excited as the coast was clear!

After plenty of searching and poking around we walked away from this one as muggles started to walk around. Will keep an eye on it and return.
Wow what an awesome cache hiding spot! Fascinating Place I wouldn't have even noticed if not for geocaching! TFTC!
TFTC. Bit soggy. Geocoin is not there. Amazing what has been done to the tree.
Have checked the cache & it is in position, just requires a good look. A pair of gloves & torch may be useful but not necessary.
Was I spose to find something there? I got the coordinates correct, but I flat out refuse to go investigating further during snake season!
Found this one while out caching with GeoFamily. We were all amazed at this tree, and how it was held together with these large bolts and wires.
Dipped GeoKrety Key Coin.
2 of the 3 listed TBs not in the cache. Grabbed the 3rd.

Here to do a CITO event as we pass through Townsville. The listed TB's are not in the cache.SL TFTC
taking part in the local CITO event we stopped and made this one a quick find. tftc
Awesome clue, great spot! It was our first geocache in Australia!
(Bit late logging, we found it in march)

Just swung by to check out the trackables that were supposed to be in here - neither are present!
Almost went poking around in the leaf litter but spotted it before I got too dirty! Thanks muchly!
Found this one with friends. Had to make a bit of noise to move the possum that was asleep in the tree, but he simply refused to move. Luckily my friends are so brave that they just put their hands straight in and pulled out the cache. Although it clearly stated on the home page that there were two trackables in this cache, no objects (other than a few random things) were found inside. Maybe the trackables went missing?
At long last I have located this one (with a little nudge). I secured the cache back into it's hiding place.
No muggles on an early morning walk.

Cache locations was checked 23/10/13 & cache container is in correct position. Cache re-enabled.
I gave inside the hollow trunk a good search without luck again. The immediate surrounds did not support my search either. Have to watch this one again
Found the tree that is bolted together - Wow! Looked everywhere and even tried to climb inside the tree for a search without luck. It must be well hidden. I will have to call back on this one.
Found With My Sister at 0951. A nice quick find, my sister was suepeised that such a nice eiverside walking path was there. TFTC.
[u][blue]31 Days of Geocaching: [/blue][red]Day 6[/red] [/u](Part II)
Our 31 days of geocaching continues and this was our second for the day (just to make sure).
We were woried the cache was obscured by the "furry bottomed cache guardian" but geoD eventually found it tucked away.
What an amazing tree and the lengths that have been taken to keep it standing

North Qld 2013. Day 11, the Third full day in Townsville. Today was the second day of Ross River Power Trail caches. A fair bit hotter today. After setting my bike up, I set out and visited a large range of caches along the river. It was a good range of caches some easy, some hard. I did not do them all but enjoyed everything I managed. I like the way the tree is being looked after. I could only just reach this one. Thanks.

Another beautiful day in Townsville, after yesterday's rain.
GZ was something out of the ordinary.
Found cache quickly and found part of another cache container nearby, complete with log & a trackable.
Put old log in new container, took trackable and removed old container.
The 2 trackables listed are not in the cache.
Many thanks for the cache, roaminfree.

Quick grab today. Nice to be able to log a find after it being replaced. Found with the parent cachers, H and T.
While geoD was off doing his own thing (pushy training ride), geoP decided to combine her morning walk/run with geocaching.
I thought I'd actually stop to grab those few caches around the Rossiter Park - Nathan St Bridge loop this morning. This was the fifth and last for the morning, it was good to be able to run/jog between each of the caches. Plus my phone was getting very low on battery.
Wow great GZ but even for me there were too many muggles around to really get in and search. I had to pretend that I was just admiring the flora.
I'll be back again.

Good to see this cache up and running. The youngest Geo ferret leapt into action...only to leap out again yelping from a bull ant bite. I stepped in and had a look around. Heaps of places to look, even in the one area. A little bit of luck and I stumbled on the critter. Youngest geo ferret tended forget about his bite once found. TFTC
Re-enabled listing with new cache container. Please make sure you wedge the container back in the same position as you find it.
Cache has been muggled. New cache will be in place by Friday 12/4/13

Sure I was in the right area but unable to find due to muggles and insect bite from critter in tree.
Nice easy find! There were no track ables though

Out on a borrowed geo-cycle today. Thanks to Mr Fajoomit for letting me scratch this caching itch and use his bike.
This cache was a bit of a ride down memory lane as I lived in O'Reilly St for a few years in the early nineties and did a lot of bike riding at the time. After checking out the old residence, I rode across the bridge. In the early nineties, we made use of the weir itself to get across. In those days, what is now Annandale was just chonky apple scrub.
Was distracted by the bolts holding the tree together. However, cache was quickly found.
