Went to have a look and was reading logs on the way there, good thing i didn't try too hard. Can we disable this one for now?
Wandered over with the sprog from Bethel Prim and spent a while hunting. Then I looked up the page and saw the notes. Bugger. 2nd time here with a Oh well, next time...
Just seeing note about cache being muggled. I tried my darndest to find that thing. Now I know why I couldn't.
Alas, this cache has been muggled. How do I know? Because I found the log book on the bank, then scrabbled in the leaves and found the lid, and then found what looks to be the original log book. Let me know where you'd like these dropped off to you if you'd like to repair the cache.
On our way to a toy shop.....starting to rain. Mr Gaters made a solo dash in to find the cache. Took a moment
to zero in but found it in the end....thanks.

On the way to pick up some tea, stopped with a friend to show her what caching is all about (a possible new member?). A reasonably quick find in a nice park. TFTC
Never knew this park was here, had a turn on the swing after we found the cache.
I don't know how I missed this! I am soooo happy to finally log this as a find...3rd time lucky! TFTC.

TFTC. It was so simple but somehow I have missed it twice before. Anyway third time lucky.
Tried it in winter and could not find the cache. But lucky this time and quick grab. TFTC
Was on an early morning visit to Mitre 10, it would have been rude not to grab this one.

No problems with slippery access today. A bit of thought and we had the cache. We thought the "Boys toys" were the collection of assorted boats and caravans on the edge of the park!

This cache was really cool. A bit slippery and falling flat on my bum set up the good mood for a lovely day of caching. Thanks
Nice hide. Better this time - the first time I came here the area near the GC was very slippery and I went for a burton. TFTC
Slippery bit able to find with badjelly on watch. Had to look out for muggles.
I was a bit faint hearted on this one, but fortunately had the roaming reliever for company, and they didnt mind the possibility of getting their feet wet!
Very muddy and slippery. Just as well intrepid Super Seeker had a spare clothes in the car! Not for a faint hearted at this time of year. Just as well the neighbours weren't working on their cars or in their kitchen.
One of many caches today doing the rounds with lyttletonwitch. I had been here twice before and DNF. Had a new strategy today and was rewarded with a quick find. Muggle free on a cold frosty Sunday morning. TFTC
Ick! Met a muggle at the scene who was running his dogs. Orienteering with GPS.
Great hilarity here. It began with RexTrex having a discussion with a lady over the fence in her backyard, who asked whether we were looking for something, but left us alone once she got an answer that her fence hadn't been tagged again. We were by then divided on either side of the stream and when the cache was found, McPhan threw it across the water to me to log the find. Being the only girl in the group I felt under pressure to make a good catch, and return the cache to McPhan with a good throw. Hmmm - pressure got to me and I managed to throw it against a branch, from where it bounced into the water. McPhan reckons he has never seen me move so fast, to get down to the water and recover the cache. Laughed so much I cried [:o)]. Thanks all for the fun Angus boys, and your cache is still safe and dry. TFTC.
Scored with McPhan, RexTrex, SolDeLune and "Warney" Winglen.
Does your cache float?
Yes it does..
Thanks all for the laugh. Thanks for the cache.
This was a real team find by McWindeLuneX7 with searchers on both stream banks and the cache whistling around between us as it was found, tossed across to the official signer with the lucky caching pen, tossed back (with a small diversion) and then returned to its hidey-hole. Good toys too, thanks angusboys.
Boys toys.........and the boys (and Mrs Winglen) made a quick find before heading back to our digs to get ready to meet the locals.
Thanks for this cache and the chance for a rest.

Found this a couple of weeks ago but had managed to take a pen that didn't work. managed to get back today with an operational pen and fill in the log.

Out for a spot of night caching in the city. The Boys Toys was 6th on our list. Got a some odd looks from the few folk out walking this late at night. Why would we be loitering there? Took us a litle while to find in the dark, and we did not totally trust the GPS. Eventually we saw where we needed to go, and after that the find was easy. Thanks.

Had to wait for a dysfunctional family to depart home. They left came back then various members went in and out of the house more times than I could count. Finally they departed for good and I could look at the feature I needed to.

This was a quick stop on the way home from cricket. It is a good spot even with a cricket game in progress [8] Found by the youngest. TNLN TFTC.
Found OK, had a feeling I was on private property but just the lie of the land I guess.

Nice spot. And even with the park in use its fairly unobtrusive to find. Thanks for this.
Thought this was a rather grotty hide, not a very pleasant spot sorry to say. TFTC
Visiting Christchurch this week, went for a walk in the area this morning to find a few of the local caches. A quick find for this one, TFTC!
Did not look very hard due to the where the cache co-ords led us (lots of rubbish). It seemed to point us to the tree across the ditch. Could the cache not be placed in a more attractive spot.
Didn't have a pen with me, so ended up carrying it to another nearby cache to sign the log! Is that a trampoline further along the edge of this public park??
Number 300 on the anniversary of John Lennon's death! found on a bike ride home. Never knew this lovely park was here - thanks for bringing me here.
I was here a couple of weeks ago and found the cache, but didnt have a pen.
Today I went back suitably armed and eventualy found the cache in a total different place.

Cheers and thanks,

Despite the cache description, we didn't actually expect to find a peanut butter jar! We can appreciate why people thought it was just rubbish. Maybe some camouflage? TFTC

Quick find with Yeetrees, the park was deserted with neither boys or their toys present.

Cricket was just about to start so was there at just the right time before everyone arrived. TFTC
Interesting hide. Surprised that the park wasn't getting more use on a beautiful Saturday morning. Cheers!
