I could not find it eather. Searched the rocky area.

31-Jul-11
Unfortunately this one has been muggled and neither Gowza or myself are in a position to look after it if we put it back, so we'll have to archive it. Thanks to everyone who gave it a go! BGowza

25-Jun-11
I'm not in Sydney at the moment so can't check the status of this one - I will leave it enabled for the time being and check it at the earliest opportunity. Gowza

Either I am getting blind or this one has gone missing. Searched for around 20 minutes high and low this afternoon but couldn't locate the goods. Even turned back and had another crack to no avail..

19-May-11
I absolutely have no idea how the hint relates to the cache, but I liked the camouflage.
6th of 8 caches that day.

The cache longer to find then it should have. However, that gave us more time to admire the stunning views. TFTC.

08-May-11
Fabulous location, gowza & bgowza. We admired the artistic camouflage too. Not quite sure what the hint was telling us but never mind. A great spot late on a crisp Sunday afternoon with a fisherman at the wharf below and Sunday boaters lazily on their way back home. First time we'd been to the lovely suburb of Longueville. Top views of the Bridge and the city skyline. TN L HROB rugby pin SL TFTC Cheers.........Gaztek

21-Apr-11
Found the cache - tricky little hide - but this suburb has got to be the best place to teach my kids to drive. Big wide roads and no traffic due to the monster mansions here. TFTC BGowza

10-Apr-11
Another impossibly clear calm morning, watching rowers break the mirror surface of the bay. Only a geocache would get me up so early on a Sunday morning. An amazing spot TFTC. Took pig. Left spirit level and pencil.

04-Apr-11
Got here around lunchtime, and it was really quiet?! I parked just up from the ferry wharf, and walked to GZ through Aquatic Park. I found the spot near GZ that would have been the 'picnic' spot that thwarted previous cachers, going by the fag butts left lying around. After doing a few circuits of the rocks and bush, I had a peek in a certain cranny, and spied the cache on the other side - a very snug hide this - I was quite impressed! All was in good order with the cache, so I signed the log whilst admiring another top view.

TNLN TFTC and for showing me this spot, BGowza!

What a top spot! Unfortunately for us, a couple had a picnic on the the rocks near where I thought the GZ is. We live on the opposite side of Sydney and will not visit this area again anytime soon. So this one has to go down as a DNF.

31-Jan-11
I nice quick find after securing parking at the nearby ferry wharf, great views from GZ. TFTC Smile

Never knew this park was here!! Lovely spot to watch the boats from! Well hidden! Took a stretchy lizard and left ??, SL. TFTC!

20-Dec-10
Awesome place for a walk and view of the water. Got here at lunch time and came to GZ with no issues or muggles in sight. Did a walk around while gps settled, and after about 4mins of searching saw a likely spot. Check and CIH! Awesome, didn't even read the description this time, thought I'd wing it and I did, GAFF1 Smile Put gps on top on rock near cache and within 1 min it was sitting at 1m, so nice and accurate. SL. TNLN. This is a great place. My dad has a boat right in the water that I could see from my perch on the rocks. TFTC. Also my 200th combined GC/GCA cache !!!

Long day of bike riding and caching with frodo, chunx and eggs (BH and TDD).

Gorgeous day, light breeze, limited muggle activity.

Found this beautiful cache nice and easily.

Found with Bunyip Hill & Peter during a day of bikes and caching. A really really cool place we never knew about, and we've even been fishing right below!!! Cache is in good condition. Definitely recommended, byo love interest.

My second try at this one (this time with Sesamkeks).

I really like this spot, not just because you can see my brother's place.

Another gorgeous spring day perfect for a spot of treasure hunting. Rayban and Monocle from The Squints got to enjoy yet another harbourside jewel.

Nice way to spend Fathers Day, caching with the family. Great views.

TFTC. Last one of the day. Been a good day's hunting.

21-Aug-10
Sixth and last find of the afternoon with geoson Darth Boy. Sun was just setting as we got there - just the perfect time. Even Darth Boy couldn't help but comment on the attractive sunset. Darth Boy also found it impossible not to take the Hoo-ray TB with us. TFTC.

19-Aug-10
Found by Tim with Ben hot on his heels. Great spot - I used to sail at the club below for years when I was growing up.

13-Aug-10
wonderful scenic view...thanks for sharing!!! ^_^ had a lovely view of the sunset while logging find =)

24-Jul-10
We had to wait while a couple finished their cuddling. After the find we sat and logged with a great view over the water, while kids readied their boat below for an afternoon's sailing. Took the TB and left a TB. Thanks for the hide in such a great location.

22-Jul-10
Very nice view up there. Searched below the cliffs before realising it was in the section above. I'm glad it was, there was a slight mist and looking down the water to the eventual river looked spectacular. To bad the school on the other side had an obnoxious blaring of some old lady instructing dancing. TFTC

04-Jul-10
No bats caught or eaten at this cache by us today...

04-Jul-10
After a few DNFs today, this was a pleasant respite, an easy find, and a wonderful view of the river.
Many moons ago, in the 1960s, I used to race twelve foot skiffs with my dad, just down river at the Hunters Hill SC, which is now a sea scout hall.
Thanks for not making this too difficult for we blind as a bat cachers...

19-Jun-10
Very impressive building over the water from here, and interesting to see a wharf that is served by a private company rather than Sydney Ferries. Be a bit of a drop from GZ if you went too close to the edge, but all was safe and well today and made an easy find. Left a geocoin, thanks Gowza and BGowza.

Gorgeous sunny day so took kids to nearby park for picnic and quick trek to find cache. Everyone happy. Dropped off 2coins

27-May-10
Hawkeye747 spotted this one as we continued on our 12+ mile geohike from the St Leonards station to Chatswood Station....9 for 9 today. Sweet! TFTC!!

27-May-10
It started to rain as we approached this one which made the rocks a little difficult to walk on. Once the GPS settled down we found the cache and the rain stopped which made signing the log much easier. Good hide and TFTC

20-May-10
found again (had to re-search as I had forgotten where it was) in order to grab the Frilled Neck Lizard TB for the Geocach series (moved it to Philma's Litter Bin later in the day)

19-May-10
TB Drop and cache check. All in good order!

16-May-10
Lovely little spot, tranquil bay, shame my camera decided to pack it in! Took the Steath Bomber TB on a quick flight around the harbour. TFTC

A easy walk to the Gz, and the cache was quickly found, even a couple of elderly muggles didn't bother us. TFTH...SL....TNLN

Found by Nanny and Bo on a pleasant holiday Monday afternoon.
A great view and wonderful place to come.
Could not read the writing on the rock, (the clue), but found the cach anyway after some time looking everywhere except at the co-ords.

It was a grey day but we had no difficulty finding the general area. Used the hint and found the cache. Lane Cove River very muddy after rain but a lovely spot nevertheless. TFTC. Left travel bug. Took water pistol.

16-Jan-10
One of the harder ones for the day. Found the clue fine but it took a bit of searching to spy the cache hide. A top spot and well worth stopping by! TFTC!

11-Jan-10
Cache is dried out and back in action. Enjoy!

08-Jan-10
The cache was a bit soggy, so it has been temporarily removed so it can dry out. It will be back in action soon.

I pulled up at GZ early in the morning and as the rain was absolutely belting down and oddly enough the place was deserted. I grabbed an umbrella and made my was around the back of the skiff club and up to GZ. Luckily I spotted the Cache straight away and then noticed clue. I used to sail 12 foot Skiffs from Balmain and in the interclub series one of the races is hosted by Lane Cove. Bugger of a place to sail out of if there is anything from the South, always a top bunch of blokes though. Also straight off the Cache is without doubt the best place in Sydney Harbour for flathead, although I wouldn't eat them any more from here. Quiet a few years ago I was getting up to 30 in a 3 hour session, many really big bream as well. Thanks for bringing back to a place I haven't been to for far too long. Might have to throw the boat in belt around here to harass the fish in the next few days, when the freshwater has washed it out a bit.

27-Dec-09
Took some while to find the cache, even though we thought we had searched every possible hidey hole.
Nice views bu you have to be careful near the edge.
Took a rubber duck, left a mini stamp.

22-Nov-09
Arrived by water - very convenient set of steps directly to the cache, but as the owner states, it's more about the location than the find. I plan to return with my headless chook companion, and perhaps his chicken siblings, to enjoy this fine spot in a more leisurely fashion.

27-Oct-09
Great location, wish I had more time to spend here, but had to get to a job nearby.
Took Surprise Bug TB and left a nodding bear toy.

23-Oct-09
It was a beautiful day and with no-one around I had the area to myself.
The co-ords were spot on and it wasn't long before I had the log in hand.
A lovely spot for a cache but I would be cautious about taking little cachers near the GZ.
Swapped T/B's and put a small moose in.

Not a sole about today and what a lovely day it was. Noticed what I now know is linked with the hint but dismissed it at first. Had a little search about but did not find any cache. That will teach me for rushing in. Went back to where the GPSr was happy and read the hint and put it all together. Cache was in hand within seconds.

Great view and thanks for bringing me here.

I finally had a chance to nab this one between jobs today and I was pleasantly surprised.
It's a real good spot and deserving of a geocache, though as I said in the log book quite windy today.
I've taken one of the tB's and the coin, but made no swaps.

Yay! FTF! Big Grin
It was wet, it was windy, it was dark and it was miserable. We made the drive and parked and waited for a break in the wind and rain. It finally came after about 10 mins. Brollies, raincoats and a torch with low batteries we splished, we sploshed and we splashed our way along flooded paths to GZ. Little Miss Fossgirl came up trumps to reveal the caches hidey hole. We looked at each other in anticipation of finding the medal. Our chances were good. What other desperado would go through all this mad weather for the reward. We first did some juggling with the bag, brollies and the torch before unclipping the container to reveal the shiny FTF medal. We signed the clean logbook the best we could in the circumstances and noticed a TB I had seen previously so we didn't take it, but we left a GC & TB that hadn't seen much for a while (Incy Wincy Spider). To make room for incy wincy we took the blue lamb.
Even in the dark this location is quite picturesque with the night lights and the reflections on the water. I can see why this location was chosen.
The little fossgirl wore the medal to bed last night and had breakfast with it around her neck this morning. She's very pleased and quite proud of herself even if she did require some persuasion to start with. I didn't blame her but she is much appreciative now.
Thanks very much Gowza for the adventure and a well placed cache. Smile
