Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
As the gz is inside the construction area of a major intersection upgrade I am waiting for the construction to be completed before I replace the cache.
I will Have to Disable this cache as it has been lost due to the intersection upgrade. When the works are finished I will place cache again in another suitable location nearby. Sorry for the inconvenience.
MAJOR Earthworks taking place at the crossroads . Little cache may be lost forever..........
Found on our Qld adventure trip, heading to Maryborough.
Busy intersection but found a place to stop and wander around.
Cheers from the Riverina, NSW. TFTC,

With the caravan parked at the Calliope Rest stop we took off in the car heading towards Gladstone to pick up some caches. A beautiful day and an interesting assortment of caches kept us entertained.

A quick find at a very busy place. Had a chat to a truckie who was hitching up his empty trailer and heading back to Brisbane after dropping off various loads of plastic pipe in the area. Life on the road...no thanks. TFTC
Found this one 3 months ago but log was too wet, stopped in to sign new log today.
This one was a good one. Geodaddy didn't want to get out because he was scared that muggles will see him TFTC!
Found with gribbo71 but we made the geokids get out & find it cause traffic was thick with muggles... TFTC
Found it No. 3823 .... book very wet ... we put in new log in plastic bag ... TNLN ... TFTC

Read the previous logs so tore off a strip of paper to go into the container. Found someone else had done the same thing fairly recently - that was getting damp too. Added our piece of paper to suck up some of the moisture. Suggest moving the cache to a drier spot. SL. TFTC
Soaked, unable to sign and date. Unfortunately car and paper to far away to fix problem.
Found it but unfortunately the log was soaking wet so couldn't sign it. If we had some paper we would have fixed it. Might keep some books and paper in the car just incase we get another one like this.
Another beautiful and sunny day...easy drive by and it was found by Ms Bushies2...nice and new logbook. Thanks sentinel_maximus.
Chose the wrong direction to park when I stopped here. I should have stayed on the highway instead of playing it safe and parking at the petrolstation. The traffic today tryin to join the highway went back as far as the eye could see. It was only further up the road that we noticed the showgrounds a hive of activity and the most obvious reason for the traffic. Looked for this one in my normal safety gear, thongs and shorts and located the cache on the ground. Replaced it a bit better where I believe it should be so hopefully any wet weather does not wash it away.
We walked around GZ but couldn't face plunging into the long grass so let it go.
Found with Fastpostie, log has been inundated with water unfortunately we didn't have one to replace it but it will need a new one. TFTC
A good hide except for the very long grass which was a bit daunting to walk through. Found cache.Hard to sign log as it was sopping wet. [xx(]
Found ok after a quick search in the rain (its got to stop soon) on our way to Townsville. Thanks sentinel maximus
Quick find at 1030 and plenty of safe parking. Well hidden from view at GZ. TFTC
GPS took me round in circles on the roads until I put it into off-road mode. Went straight to it after that. Another good hide.

Searched wrong side of road first. Almost drove off but then another look at the GPS lead me right to it. TNLN and TFTC
Fortunately nappy free today... spotted the cache GAFF1 after 1 false start up top. Heading south after missing this northbound when I went through Gladstone to pick up 3 FTF's last month , Cheers from Sydney
Rated: for Overall Experience
Fortunately for me the saga of the nappy appeared to be over. Cache was found easily in good nick. Thanks to sentinel_maximus.
This looked like snake territory so I did my snake-scaring stomping walk into GZ. Searched around for a while , found the nappy (now feels like a jellyfish) and then found the cache. SL. TFTC sentinel maximus
Log a bit wet but usable. Nappy still on guard! Hawk eye wife found it aqgain. TNLN Thanks
Found it at last, took a while to locate
as I think the last finder put it in it's
hiding place a bit to far,
and yes the nappy story continues

Not sure why you would put a cache here when there is so many other preferable hides at this location, but that's ok we found it & logged it & got out quick (the nappy is still guarding the cache) TNLN, TFTC.
Quick find while driving past with the cache owner. TFTC

Watch out for the pot holes in the car park across from this one, you may get lost in them and you may need your gps to get out of them, lol

The crossroads were busy today and we felt funny ducking into the bushes. It had just rained this afternoon, so it was quite boggy indeed. We are headed south enroute to Brisbane! TFTC...eatmorchikin & Stigglepot, Brisbane
Found:We had planned to attempt this while travelling northbound but took a different road into Gladstone.
Good hide, looked in all the fimular hiding spots, no luck, have to use the gps now, found.

Hooray! Another FTF. Saw this last night and just had to drive out to find it. It didn't take long to find the cache. Thankyou Sentinel Maximus.
It's probably not going to take long before the Log Book gets filled.. Cachers will come from all directions to this one.
