We checked out the location and all of the planks of the bridge have been replaced and our cache lost. We thought then maybe we could relocate it a short distance away. But this park is a true flood plan and the week after it flooded again.
I had an idea to make it into an earth cache but an unable to change it from a traditional . I have archived this cache if anyone wants to place one here beaware of the flooding as in our photos.
THanks to all who enjoyed the cache.

This cache has disappeared due to the replacement of the decking on the bridge. We will survey the area and see if we can find a suitable site close by to update the co-ords to.
This one may need the owner to see if is still where it should be. Watch out for the wasp nest under the bridge. What is with the photos of the frogs ? Do they have anything to do with the hide ?
Not Found at 5:18 AM it appears a new deck may have been put on the bridge, I had a look but came up empty handed.
Went for a look today but had no luck. I thought we were pretty thorough. Will try again soon.
EDIT: Had another look today, still no luck.

Looked for ages but couldn't find. Sounds like a crafty cache so will try again another day.
I haven't been here since I was in High School.
Brought back memories of my walk to and from school
getting attacked by local Magpies.
No territorial feathered friends today...but did stumble across the cache.
A good hide and safe from any future flooding which this area is prone to.
Thanks Wells Inc for the walk back in time.

The cache was one of 107 finds during a three day visit to Brisbane from Melbourne where it was work during the day and caching during the night.
Pulled up near the bridge ans almost as soon as I got out of the car the nearby dogs started yapping their heads off. Geez I hate that. Any way made my way over to GZ and luckily there hadn't been any major rains recently so easy access and cache quickly found.
Nice hide and thanks for the cache.

Nice hide and thanks for the cache.
Quick find by Ms Bushies2, clever hide...could see an evidence of the flood, hope the nearby houses weren't affected by it. Thanks Wells Inc.
I didn't understand the name either but the cache sure is tricky. Once I was on the right level and on the right side it was easy. I loved the attachment.
Didn't get the Room with a view but anyway I got the cache.

TFTC. Good disguise actually found it and didn't realize, maybe looking too hard? Got question by council workers, of my presence. So a quick lesson in geoC and was on my way.
I was saddened and humbled by the devastation in this area. There was still a house with a big sheet that said "God bless the volunteers". None of these houses appeared to be occupied. I made my way to GZ on dusk and started the hunt. It was a gettin a bit too dark for hunting for micros... I found it after about 20 minutes of fossicking. The log is dry again - but it is starting to fill up. TFTC Wells Inc
Loved the walk to this cache. Started with a white Geohound. He was covered in mud by the time we recovered this one.Couldn't believe my luck in spotting this one. I had started looking in the exact spot. Really niffty hide. Cache was quite wet after being submerged in the flood water for so long, but dried it out enough to sign.

Not sure if this is cache blindness or the flood waters HAVE washed this one away !!! Will return TFTH Wells Inc
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
WOW this was 'interesting'. After some time walking around in circles looking high and low, we were just about to give up when I saw a glimmer of hope.
Excellent hide and a very nice contraption to avoid damage in the floods. The Log is quite damp and is full on one side so may need to give a week or so after rain to attempt this one. Evidence of flooding up very high and would love to see the area during a good lot of rain.

Found this with TassieGirl13.
We arrived and had it in hand after a short time.
I guess some days you get lucky.

Searched for this one at night. Couldn't find it in any little hidy holes. Go back again a bit more methodical this time. This time it found me hanging on the end of its tether just swinging there. Signed log and put back in a likely hole. TFTC
2nd time lucky. When I arrived at the GZ there were two men fishing of the bridge. I left them to it while I went to find other close by caches. Came back about a hour later and found it quite quickly just after dark. TFTC
Had fun with this one. Showing a mate his first geocache, and he saw it as we approached GZ. Nice find here. TFTC
Very nice hide and appropriate precautions for the area!! Creek was burbling away merrily. Thanks Wells Inc
Out with RhesusFactor for the day and swung by this one while in the area. Good to see they replaced the bridge. While Rh was tending to nature I put my GPS to work to find the spot for this nasty nano. Was spot on with Co-ords and was not hung up with finding this. Terrific cache and getting use to nanos now..... TFTC.
Surprisingly, there was only 1 muggle & 2 dogs in the park on this lovely sunday afternoon! After a bit of a search we came up trumps. TFTC
Lucky find , just as was about to give up I spotted what I was loking for-some thing that should not have been there-sneaky hide..

Evil micros, everyone loves them. Quite a step forward after you find your first one and you realise how resistant they are sometimes to revealing themselves. However, this wasn't our first micro so we were prepared to sit out the hunt. After the initial search of all the obvious spots, drawing on our awareness of whats possible with micro's, we sat down for a while at GZ and just looked around us. Then after stepping back and looking around us instead of looking around, the cache presented itself to be found. Nice hide, possibly one of the more concealed caches we have dealt with. Cache is definitely there ppl. TNLN, TFTC.
Two Tigers.

Found by Mary & David at 1545. Spent some time looking for something a little smaller, but finally spotted something that didn't belong. Plenty of water flowing by, but well down on the recent peak judging by the debris. Four helicopters flew over while we were there. Couldn't decide if they were looking at the water or the afternoon traffic. Our thanks again to Wells Inc.
Checked this one today and we were pleased to notice that it is nice and dry. So if this one is on your to do list. Go For it.
no joy yesterday finding the cache (which certainly must have gotten wet sometime recently ...) but a nice park to be taken to nevertheless.
Do total fluke finds still count? Felt more relief than triumph. I don't know where the cache is supposed to sit but as I was about to leave having scrambled and groped about painfully for a while I saw its (have you noticed how often folk wrongly write "it's" for 'belonging to it'?) little nose poking out of the tons of flood debris on the side rails. Been flushed from its proper hidey hole I'd say. Anyway put it somewhere out of plain view. Sorry I used two lines on the tiny log - hands were numb from all the groping.
Ant24 bought me here to grab this one before we meet up with Claire_geo for an afternoon of caching.
Great hide, took a bit of finding, but got it in the end.

Found while out caching with Ant24, this one had us searching for quite a while before we focused back in on the original geozone, almost ready to call it a day when we spotted it! Good hide TFTC!
Out today with Cliare_geo and geo bub grabing a few last minute caches for 2009!! this one had us searching for quite some time before Claire_geo located it right where I had looked before............not sure how I had missed it!!!

After returning a truck to Budget rentals across the way, I decided to check out this cache whilst waiting for my lift home. However, a good 10 minutes looking around, under, and in revealed no cachy goodness.

The weather this morning was much more pleasant than when my previous visit and I had the place to myself which was handy too... [^]
I wanderred up to GZ and commenced the search... Within 1 minute, I had the cache in hand... Grrr... I stared straight at it last time, albeit with a slightly abscured view in the rain... I had also focussed on this hiding place as a likely spot but, completely missed the tell tale sign... A little cache blindness obviously, such is the fickleness of this sport... End result was satisfactory though...
Cheers Wells Inc.

I had just secured another Wells Inc cache and swung by this one for a look. It was showering in the area but I don't tend to let that put me off... Until the heanens opened some more that is... I was at GZ for approx 10 minutes and even under the shelter of the structure, I was getting soaked. So I gave it away and will drop back another time.
Found after much searching, my knees will never be the same again. What a wast of half a box of bandaids.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
We parked just near the flood marker and noted tht last night's rain seem to have the creek flowing well.
We got lucky and found the cache straight away. Beautiful water views this morning from the room.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 10:05am. This cache took about 20 minutes to reveal itself and a good hide it is too. TFTC
Found it after read previous cacher's comments which helps.
clever one
thanks for this cache and hunting.

Nasty nano it is. Poor "IF", but I have to say, it took me only 10 minutes ... and it was dark [^]. Any more like this "Wells Inc" and we'll find where you live and come 'round to throw rocks at your house .
Looking around it is pretty obvious that this spot was underwater on May 20th this year
But as you say, the cache should be safe from the flood waters next time [^]
Unless of course GZ itself washes away [:o]
This is indeed a 'nasty' hide.
I had a 'Paris Hilton' moment while looking for the damn cache, I broke a nail [:o]
So I sulked for a while and grabbed me a can of fizzy to calm my nerves
After over half an hour in the midday sun and with a broken nail, did I mention that?
I returned to the scene of my upstaging and looked around again.
On a warm and dry day this room had another surprise in store for me !!
After wandering around on the plastic decking for a while I got comprehensively zapped when I touched one of the metal handrails [:o]
More sulking
But this wasn't an episode of "The Simple Life" and I pulled meself together and made a new and more determined effort to find the cache.
Actually using the GPS this time helped and it narrowed down the search area quite nicely [^]
Yeah!! Up till now this had definitely been one long "blonde moment"
With a broken nail and a zapped finger and mild sunburn by this stage I finally saw the telltale sign of a cache
A five star hide worthy of any major international hotel chain
Thanks for the room with a view [^]

I lived a stones throw from here for 20 odd years as a kid.
My parents were there until recently and their house went under in the 94 flood.
I have seen this creek in flood numerous times.
I used Geocaching Live for the first time to get me to the cache but I couldn't locate it.
My geo sense put it in a lot of places so I rang Dosphoenix for a clue and that narrowed it down to one of the spots where I had looked previously without seeing it.
Thanks for bringing back a lot of memories.

I think this is my second only first to find. Ran out this afternoon with geo-not so baby anymore and geo-husband.
Excellent container - very well placed. It's lovely to see such effort put into a cache.
And having lived in the area for 5 years now, I'd never had cause to come down here and always wondered about the creek that flooded. Thank you!
