Fair enough, Ministro, fair enough! It's a great spot for a cache, and as I'm not so active at present, I'll archive to leave the area open for other cachers to make a hide. Just a word of warning - that creek floods pretty high!
How embarrassing, can't find my own cache ... found the spot and the cache guard, but no ammo tin (which shouldn't be too hard to miss...) Looks like I'm gonna have to replace this one.
Found at 14.22 hrs. Stopped at this park for lunch on the way home. Nice shelter out of the rain. No problems with this cache.

Never had cause to stop here before but always looks like a pleasant place. The creek had nice flow about it, lots of mozzies about. There has been quite a lot of rain since last found (raining again today) the cache was full to the brim with water. Amazingly the log book had been sealed well and although a little damp still quite good. Emptied the contents as best as we could but could do with a bit of TLC. Left dragonfly TB. TFTC.
We had lunch in this lovely little park before starting the hunt. Tracked it down after searching a few nearby possibilities first and noticed a campsite set-up very nearby in the creek. No one was there luckily, that would have made it very tricky. TNLN Thanks Wonder Wits

This area looked familiar - I've been caching here before. Pioneer Wood (GC13AZE) - now archived - hidden down near the Blue Gum stump. No worry. Had a wander along the pioneer trail and was amazed the first plaque is Charlie Moreland, cedar cutter, of state forest campground fame.
No swaps today, but liberated TB from Maui with attached Thong, and canada mini geocoin.

Arrrr the pirates are heading inland. Them pioneers won't know what hit them!!!!!! All ashore jim me lad.
Good hide, had us looking in a different spot initally. Took TB and tag. Left Priates GC.
Replaced with anti-flotation device. Restocked cache, which seems to have developed something of a purple theme. Dropped in TB, geocoin, and pathtag. Happy hunting.
Dropped in to check on this one and found a very neat ammo box shaped hole ... evidently ammo boxes do float and the site is not above flood level. However luck was with me as I found the cache some 30 metres downstream. Yay! Have brought it home to dry it out.
Found on our way home from Gympie today. GPS took us the back road and what a nice drive it is too. Unfortunately it was raining quite hard and maybe with cloud cover and also tree cover we had difficulty with the hand held. Explored several possible cache locations and looked all around larger tree near GZ before walking away and trying to come at the GZ again. Managed to get pretty wet, and ground was slippery also. When coming back to cache location it was found pretty quickly, but not until we'd scoured a large area first. Cache nice and dry inside. TFTC. Nice large size - cachers can bring their large TB's to this cache. There's some nice booty in there too. Took geocoin to move it along, and Left: folding brush.
Beautiful spot down by the creek. Wonder Wits must have a flair for the really good caching spots.
Left GeoCoin, took nothing. Great stuff Eve, thanks.

Stopped on the way back home but had to wait for some muggles with dogs to leave. It was a good excuse to walk around and check out the plaques. Found it at 1540hrs with holster and the hairbear. Managed to inflict a wound on the largest digit on my left foot when leaving. I had my double plugger safety boots on too!

I even read the warning about the fence, however, when you start to slide down the hill (beacuse you wore thongs instead of more appropriate footwear) the automatic response is to grab hold of whatever is within reach - even a barbed wire fence - OUCH!!! Found the cache tho! TFTC
Good to see a new cache a bit higher above flood level in this park. Remember pouring water out of the camera in the previous cache. Oh well it was a disposable camera !!TNLN TFTC
First one on way home luckily the roadworkers were will out of the way, nice hide in a lovely like rest stop.

1040hrs. A quick find on our way home from the Camping Amongst the Gums event. Nice little bit of parkland. TFTCSL
Nice to see the re-vegetation project underway. Quick grab. Caravaners must have been a bit puzzled with people turning up and diving straight into the bushes. TFTC
