Had a good look with no luck. 1 year without a find suggest it may need checking please.
Most probably missing. Archiving to open uo the space for something new and exciting
Had this one in the solved pile for a very long time. Unfortunately no joy at GZ today. Quite a bit of trash around the area - cache may be worth a welfare check. Thanks anyway.

This was going to be my backup local puzzle if I couldn't lay hands on the other puzzle cache. Guess what? Looks like I'll need another backup. I found a rock, some tinsel, a child's sock and a chewed golf ball at GZ. After expanding the search area and given the lack of problems any previous finder has had I think the cache may have disappeared.
I'll put it on my watch list and await the next couple of logs.

I looked at this one awhile back and couldn't figure it out, but then a light bulb went off in my head last night as I had already planned on signing Spirit of Tasmania I, so now I had this one to sign on as well. TFTC and the mystery
Finally a puzzle I could solve without any hints or help. They are few and far between. So I loved being able to claim the prize. I have to get a lot better at puzzles very soon.
Last time I was here all I found were the teeth having noticed it has been replaced I found the cache and signed it. Tftc
Urgh, I keep forgetting to note this.
Planning on replacing cache soon, the situation just needs to be in my favour, not quite confident to head out on my own just yet...

This cache is carrying a maintenance log which needs to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines advise that the CO should make regular visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. You need to disable the cache if you cannot attend to it promptly - I have disabled it this time.
**Please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 18th January, otherwise it will be necessary to withdraw the cache from the Active listing.** The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Unfortunately this 2/2 didn't want to show itself to us today!
Thanks for the hunt anyway PrincessDiala.

I've solved this before but stored it in old (classic) app so it was lost. I did a quick re-solve in the field and as I was close, I went to collect my prize I have to admit: I wasn't sure I should be where I was, but pressed on regardless (what does that say about me?!) and was relieved to find the cache, and removed myself swiftly from the vicinity. On reflection it was probably fine.
After a lightbulb moment with puzzle it was an easy solve. Finally got round to picking it up today. End up on the wrong side of the fence. TFTC and puzzle
Dropped in on my way home from Maryborough.
A nice quick find in a strange spot.
Guided by the light from my head torch, I meandered my way to GZ.
Accurate coordinates led made for a no fuss find.
Thanks for an interesting puzzle that I should have solved years ago.

I worked this one out at work the other day. Arkbell80 and I decided to head out for the last caching expedition for 2016. Nice easy find and puzzle was a fun one bringing back memories of my programing days and bulletin boards (pre internet).

I've had this puzzle solved for almost a year now, so it was fantastic to visit from over the border to locate the cache. Nice and quiet here today but it still took a bit of searching amongst the casuarina needles (coordinates spot on though). Thanks for the puzzle and cache PrincessDiala!
Solved ages ago.. till today is good time to stop here and walk toward the cache.

This has been in the solved 'pile' for a while. I seem to recall the coordinates revealed themselves without too much anguish. Today GPS led me right to the cache in a place I've certainly never visited before. Thanks PrincessDiala!

Teamed up with The Green Geckos to find as many solved puzzle caches as we could in the short timeframe we had in the Melbourne/Mornington area before heading down to Geelong/Anglesea for the Surf Coast Mega on the weekend. Both of us had worked on this puzzle independently, so it was great to finally get here and try to convert that puzzle icon into a smiley. Found this one early in the day without any dramas. Log signed, cache replaced, smiley earned - all is good in my world. Thanks for the puzzle and the smiley PrincessDiala.
Puzzle solved so great to find this cache on a tour of the area. An enjoyable cache find. Well done. Nice hide.
Thanks to PrincessDiala and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

This mystery cache has got to have the longest time between solved and found! Solved in 2009, found in 2016... Actually solved it twice as I lost the co-ords and forgot that it exists! A nice stroll to GZ and the cache was quickly found. Thanks for the cache, and the puzzle, PrincessDiala.

I had solved this puzzle a while ago and today was deliverance day. I decided to start off an afternoon of caching from the Port Melbourne area.
I parked the car up and jumped on the bike. At the GZ I quickly found what I was looking for. TNLN. TFTC.

We've travelled by many means to gather caches on this trip, the only mode not employed so far has been by boat. Found this with Baktrak, split up so I could catch bus and he could continue searches, and we each had interesting (read "crazy locals') journeys back to base.

We made a little seaside visit to take in the view, the air and, of course, find some caches. GPS wasn't quite spot-on today but there were only so many alternatives to check. Thanks PrincessDiala.
Great day to take the dog for a walk along the beachfront and noticed that this cache was in the area. Thought I recognised what the puzzle would be and confirmed that by reading the description. After entering the coordinates we headed off and made the find at 3:20pm after walking through the empty park. Now it's time for that walk along the beach!

I was out and about today finding a few mystery/puzzle caches as I was starting to get a bit behind in my attempt to qualify for the [ Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge (GC5MTHY)](http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5MTHY_mystery-cache-monthly-challenge?guid=d6d1b5a5-f77c-4e7f-9e08-3126adab0029) by finding 31 mystery/puzzle caches this month. This was #21 of the 31 mystery/puzzle caches that I needed for the month.
I had a slight idea about how to solve this puzzle. After a bit of research I soon found some info that enabled me to calculate some co-ords that got a tick from the geochecker. I parked in a nearby street and had a short stroll to my calculated GZ. I searched for a while without success as there were several alternative hiding spots. Eventually something suspicious caught my eye and sure enough it contained the cache. I signed the log at 6:35 pm, took a tiny fire extinguisher and left a large blue dice. I then headed home for dinner.
Thanks PrincessDiala for the clever puzzle and the well-hidden cache in a lovely bit of bushland in the burbs.

Didn't bring a writing stick but took a photo for proof. I loved the puzzle and finally worked it out after I unscrambled a few letters. TFTC and how do you post 2 pics at once?
I had this one solved quite some time ago and it was left to be collected when we were next in the area. Today was the day with Tomstache who is attempting a monthly mystery challenge. thanks PrincessDiala, no muggles today.
I had help in solving this cache. Found today in the rain and there were no muggles for miles. Thanks PrincessDiala. I am working on GC5MTHY - Mystery Cache Monthly Challenge.
It too a little bit to get the GPS to give us a good signal but once we had that the hide was where we expected. Interesting cache but an IT background helped!

A nice puzzle to solve on a spare afternoon in mind of picking up next time we are in Melbourne. Tonight with Na'wal we headed up to cache until the wee early morning hours. We found somewhere to park and headed towards GZ where we found the container without any problems.

I was out and about with theTritonz tonight and this was on the list. Thetritonz started working on this one before me, but with a bit of time available to me on a quiet afternoon at work, I sat down and started to work on this one and while reading, noticed something. Hmmm I can work with that. This puzzle was still very tricky and a little harder than the rating. Once we had numbers, we had to figure out the best place to park, and under the late cover of darkness we pulled up and made a short walk and found after a short search. Stamped and returned as found.

Log and container were in good condition.

I was pretty stoked to find an unloved cache in the middle of suburbia. I've been gradually increasing my willingness to give puzzle caches a crack and this one has been sitting under my nose for a while. I still had to defer to Hera for her superior problem solving and she quickly spotted something awry. As Hera called out the clues I made notes and suddenly had an 'A-ha!' moment. Some quick googling and that turned into a fully fledged light-bulb. Great puzzle PrincessDiala and nice little tucked away area for the final hide.
#6062 This puzzle was solved a few days before our trip - one that was nice and enjoyable to nut out and didn't require a degree in engineering . Today we made a concerted effort to go and collect it and enjoyed the drive out toward GZ. We parked and found a nice obscure access to GZ - not that it mattered as there wasn't anyone around during our visit. The cache was found well hidden and in very good condition on our visit. Our thanks to PrincessDiala for the puzzling fun and for the cache. Cheers [^]
Had a great time figuring out the puzzle. Loved the story of the pine tree. Easy find once GZ located. Thanks for the cache.
Last time I was here was just over a year ago, back in May 2013. I had a lengthy search back then, and as it turns out, the cache was missing in action, and was disabled soon after.
After an airport run early this morning, I made a snap decision to get out for a few hours and find me some smileys. This was my mornings target cache, as I was determined to finally finish it off.
Parking nearby, I didn't even bother with the GPS as I headed towards the familiar surroundings at GZ. With a minimum of scratching about, I'd uncovered the logbook, and happily made my mark.
Thank you PrincessDiala for this fun and entertaining puzzle, and for getting me back into caching mode today

I had plenty of time to fill in today so decided to try and do a couple of long multis and a few trads in between so since it was Sunday being near the city was good, a lot less muggles to contend with and easy to park.
I noticed this a while ago so printed out the puzzle at work and worked at it off and on. A friend at work asked what I was doing so I told her and she took a copy of the story and I told her - "A solution by tomorrow would be fine thanks."
In the meantime I noticed some anomalies with the story but had to get back to it later.
The next morning rolled around and my friend said her little kid enjoyed the story but she had no solution! Gee, you can't get good help these days.
A few days later I looked at it again for a few minutes - nothing!
A few weeks later I looked at it again and did some googling and came up with another idea and bingo. I had a solution.
That was a couple of months ago now and today I was very close by again so parked nearby and headed to GZ. With only 10m to GZ I found a nice black and silver pen so I knew I was close. (If anyone can describe the pattern details on the pen they are welcome to have it back - it works very well thanks.)
A quick search with the nice accurate coordinates and the cache was in hand, the log signed and I was on my way.
Thanks PrincessDiala for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Great puzzle. I thought I had no idea how to solve this one, however something about it caught my attention and nagged at me. Following up an idea led me to the information required to solve the puzzle and then a bit of research left me with a set of coords in hand that evince said were right.

Stupid stupid stupid. Yes I'm stupid..... but this was a good cache
I knew I would have some time to kill this afternoon so when I had a break during the early afternoon I scanned the caches around Port Melbourne and thought this one looked promising so I set about solving it. Once completed I went to save the working document on my laptop and found that I had already solved the puzzle a year ago... but that's not why I'm stupid.
I finished work around 4 o'clock and jumped in the car and that's when I realised I was stupid. Trying to drive from St Kilda Rd to the location of this cache was.... yes wait for it..... STUPID. Anyway, needless to say I enjoyed a long slow slow drive but eventually I found myself near GZ and after a bit of a look around I located the cache. I completed my logging and considered my choices, next time I won't be choosing Friday afternoon to travel here, but I did enjoy the puzzle and once here it was a nice walk and find.

Day 29 complete. After trying this a few months ago with pantherx we had no luck as the cache had been muggled. This time round we planned to hit the cache straight after work. How ever the lovely Melbourne weather put this on hold. I was going to attempt to get to my car park before the weather snapped but this was to no avail. Pantherx warned me of the imminent danger so I decide to hide in docklands for 20minutes for the rain to pass.
Once arriving at gz it was a very quick find as we already knew where gz was and made light work of signing the log.

Find 864 at 19:07. Today was day 29 of the 31 Days of Geocaching challenge... nearly there! I was out with Burge tonight to grab a cache after work and we didn't have many options remaining. I had solved this puzzle a long time ago but when we last visited this spot to find the container, it had been muggled and we were forced to abort. Now that it's back in action, it was an easy find amongst the wet trees. Good ol' Melbourne weather!
Thanks for the cache, PrincessDiala! Good puzzle too.

This cache was still disabled but the CO had assured me that the cache was back in place.
I could have driven straight past it, but I took the ‘alternative plus’ option and went for a short search in the bush and it didn’t take long before I found my torch shining on a very likely cache location.
Tftc PrincessDiala!

Cache was replaced weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to have a look to see if it is still there and not gone walkabout. Hopefully I can make some time this weekend......
I enjoyed the puzzle, but I guess there is no need to include this cache in my route around the Melbourne burbs in a few weeks?
It's not where it's supposed to be... I'll get a replacement out within the next two weeks.
I dropped past GZ this morning and spent about half an hour searching amongst the tangle. Its either really well hidden, missing or I'm blind. I emerged covered in leaves and none the wiser. Oh well... there's always next time.
Cracked the puzzle, that was a good feeling. Hopefully find an opportunity to pick up this cache soon.
Nice work Princess Diala!

Aaaaarrrrgggg..... I had all sorts of trouble solving this puzzle, primarily because I was reading waaaay too much into it and making life hard. After being corrected and advised it was not that difficult, I had a set of final coords and was ready for the hunt.
Sadly, the hunt was no better than my solving and with Lochb along side, we failed to come up with the goods after 20 minutes or so scratching around.
Not the first DNF tonight and not the first on a puzzle either... Maybe the caching gods were trying to tell me something...
Cheers PrincessDiala, hopefully I'll be back for another hunt sometime in the future...

I was out caching with Burge tonight and this was one of only a couple of DNFs for the evening. We spent about 10 minutes searching around the area but couldn't find the cache. We did find a LOT of spiders though!!! We'll be back to try this one again another time.

This was the next cache on our list, after having this one solved during the week, we parked nearby and made our way to GZ where the cache was quickly found.

Well is was a very hot night so what better then to grab some caches in a part of Melbourne not yet cache in before. Was out on the hunt with Ahomburg once more grabbing a few caches and scouting out some others for future day light assaults. A great night time run with a tally of 6 finds in total and 4 cache types.
Solved this one yesterday and really enjoyed it. A fun puzzle. Tonight being in the area it was great to be able to attempted it. Initially we thoughts we would have to return during certain hours due to sight of some large metal gates on both sides of the park but then realized that there was another open 24/7 spot which allowed for easy access to GZ. A joy to find and initially missed it and I was even standing right next to it, Thankfully the eagle eyes of Ahomburg spotted the hide. TFTC PrincessDiala and for the puzzle.

Finally Nice to finally solve and even better being able to make it to GZ and make the find.
Having crossed over the Westgate Bridge I hopped out the car to find a change had arrived and the breeze was just lovely after such a hot day.
Took a few minutes to locate the cache as the tree cover played havoc with the GPSr, but finally I was able to get a good direction and the cache was found in a good caching spot And thankfully GZ didn't prick me
Admired the path-tag in the cache, but with no swaps on me I had to leave it for the next finder.

Found @ 17:30 with Spladem. I was in the area to knock off the CTU series and solved this puzzle last night in case I got a chance to grab it. Which I did.
There were many trees about, but none of them looked particularly happy or sad about their foliage.
My GPSr was not playing nicely under the canope, but I found it in the most likely spot.
Took pathtag, left pathtag, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache PrincessDiala.

Found 10:59am , find # 1678
Free time on a Friday morning. Pam was going out for lunch with a girlfriend, and I had a date with a few caches in the Port Melbourne area.
This one was number 1 of 4 finds for this excursion..
I solved this one quite a while ago and it has been residing in my corrected coordinates waiting for a trip to this area.
I parked close by and after a couple of minutes found the well hidden cache.
It was in good condition and quite dry.
As I signed the log, the noise of heavy equipment was filling the air, however at the cache location, it was very private and well hidden from view.
I took nothing and left a pathtag. As I returned to my car, I watched the source of the noise for a while, and it was quite interesting.
There was no sign of the sand pit mentioned in the hint, and I wondered if I approached from the wrong direction, or whether that was a consequence of the three years which have elapsed since this cache was secreted away here.
Thanks PrincessDiala,

We were making a rare trip to Port Melbourne and saw this puzzle cache nearby. Really enjoyed working out the co-ords and love having Evince for that warm-fuzzy feeling. Found the right entrance and after being overwhelmed with possibilities, remembered the story and started our search in a fortunate spot. Soon had the cache in hand - all in good condition. TNLN TFTC

Find #449
Decided that puzzle panic was getting the better of me, and that this one had been solved for far too long for me to NOT come and get it.
I arrived at ground zero to be very soon joined by DrJim, although one of us found ourselves on the wrong side of the fence.
It was obviously me.....
I did my best at supervising the search, pointing all the obvious places it may have been hidden and soon enough DrJIm came up with the goods.
Thankfully he was gracious enough to pass the log through to me so I could put my moniker in it, rather than hike back all the way around to it!
Thanks for the cache and the fun!

Ran into Cambendy here today and as always it was a pleasure to see a fellow cacher in the wild.
The situation was interesting, he was on one side of a fence, and Essieg and I were on the other. I won't reveal who made the find but the logbook was passed to the other party for signing after the find.
I'm sure I enjoyed the puzzle but I solved it so long ago it's a dim memory!

02/09/2012 23:20 2 of 3 for the evening. After a wonderful win on 'Muggle This' I made this my 2nd cache of the evening. Despite suffering Puzzle panic (where a solved puzzle is archived prior to collection) I still had not picked this one up. Mainly due to never being anywhere near the area. Tonight I wanted to tick it off and got myself to GZ. An excellent location clearly not frequented by anyone at all due to the lack of rubbish and general "undisturbed" nature. A quick look in a likely location and I the regular container in hand. I bashed a bit to get access to GZ so took an easier way out. TFTC PrincessDiala TNLN SL
What a saga...
I enjoyed reading the story and solving the puzzle. Got the solution and thought, ' Cool, that means nuthin'!' So, a steep learning curve adding to my education to decode the symbols. Entered in my co-ordinates , received the go ahead and headed out in my lunchtime at work.
A frustrating search at the co-ordinates revealed nought after 15 minutes of searching amongst the trees and was abruptly ceased by an absolute deluge descending me as I charged back to the car. Ok , no find today.
I popped back over the weekend after a Beach Rd cycle down to Frankston . Sunny, deserted. I leaned my road bike against a tree as I commenced my search looking totally inconspicuous in my red and black lycra in the bushes. I quickly realised I had placed my bike on the only sharp stones hidden by pine needles and spent my next 20 minutes fixing the flat tyre. Nice. Out of time and had to head off.
So today feeling virtually defeated I slunk back determined only spend 10 minutes here and no more!
Found it in 2 minutes . YAY!
Thanks and cheers PrincessDiala!
( Now I'm going to learn more about cats...)

Found with Rebel Acts, We went around in a circle thanks to Tom Tom. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Crazy! Nat Girl while in the area doing a couple of the Challenge caches, we had no trouble on this one, Tom Tom had no idea though. Thanks for the cache.
I had a little trouble with this one, although I was on the right track after researching something that turned out to be something of a red herring... A nudge from lochb and a doh! moment as the obvious was suddenly clear and the puzzle was soon solved. Today I was in the area grabbing a few caches so I visited GZ and after a bit of a search uncovered the well camouflaged cache and signed the logbook. TFTC Di
Out in the area to complete some of the CCT caches. Found in the company of the owner - therefore a quick find. TFTC
I decided on a trip to the South Melbourne/Port Melbourne area to pick up a few outstanding caches. After visiting a virtual cache, the other half and I headed in to pick up this puzzle. I had solved it quite a while ago and made an attempt at picking it up at the time, however a transcriptions error from the sheet I solved it on, to my book for the field, meant I was in the completely wrong place! This time I was sure I had the right place, but we couldn’t seem to find a likely looking hiding place. While the other half went of to case the other side of the fence, I attempted a more systematic search pattern than I started off using. Persistence prevailed and I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle PrincessDiala
Find # 3527 and 2nd of the day @ 1:20 pm. I had the afternoon to myself so what better than get a few caches. I tried to work out this puzzle some time ago without success but recently had a chat to the owner who was kind enough to give me a hint and got the ball rolling again and was able to solved it, love it when I can solve a puzzle, they are far and few between, TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx PrincessDiala....
Found by Mary & David at 1715. Solved this one almost two years ago, and can't understand why we haven't found it earlier. Today we were determined to find it at last. A short walk in from the street, and our indicated GZ was spot-on. Our thanks to PrincessDiala. A great cache for your first.
10/12/11 4:33 PM Find #697 - I solved this puzzle the other night and planned a visit to find it today. While I was searching for it I noticed a bird flying about squawking so I figured it must be guarding it I found golf ball and then I scored the cache which was well hidden. SL TFTC.
Our first puzzle needed a trip home for some thinking searching and scribbling. A nice fair challenge.
After taking caching break due to exams, I am back on for my final few days of caching before I leave. Trailrunning and I had been discussing about attempting this for a long time and we are finally able to find a day off to get it over and done with. Very exhausting day but it was all good. We were very happy with our accomplishment.
Found after the Woodlands run. TFTC

Liked the puzzle - needed a bit of thought, but still do-able! Not sure about the sand pit but got the rest. T4TC
