Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
After all of the recent rains I think I had better go and check this one to make sure it hasn't become geodog's deluge instead....
It seems like there has been recent flood activity where the coordinates point to,
i suggest you check the cache just in case.

Interesting location. Dog enjoyed the walk. Found cache after a short search, there are a few more weeds around than when it was first placed I bet. TFTC
Spent plenty of time on this one, plenty of good hiding spots around but couldn't get the correct one
Tammytriangle and I were determined to find this one as it was our first one for a long time and we were excited to be on uni break and wanted to get one under our belt. But the only thing I found was a dead rat in the creek.... but that rat won't stop me.. I will be back! Thanks for the adventure
Found with Ian-and-Penny and Robmc after completing the cache at the other end. We got to watch lots of little tackers playing the greatest game of all and 2 little girls who had found the biggest mud puddle and were being encouraged by all their friends to get as dirty as possible. Cache took a bit of finding as their has been lots of growth in the area recently. No exchanges but TFTC
9th find of the day, and 2447th total find at 12:55.
We've spent an enjoyable day with the Morris and RobMc driving around Bendigo. We've cleared out a fair amount of caches today - and had a great time doing it.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks rissl for the cache

That's a perfectly good bridge just 15 meters away - what were you thinking?
This one took a little longer to find than it should have, as the troll's den was too great a temptation.
Lady Morris actually got her hands dirty with this one (about time she found one!), but not a dirty as the kids playing in the huge mud puddle near the footy ground! Someones parents are going to be a bit peeved!
Thanks for the short walk - not geodog this time though!
Thanks, Robmc.

14th find for the day on my caching trip with my caching buddy, Marty (Quasar3671) in Bendigo for two days of non stop caching fun. Well, at the time of night we found this on, it was into night caching mode and the torches were out. At or near GZ had some sketchyness with the GPS and this one took a little while. But after locating the hiding spot, we completed the find and replaced the cache.
Found with Blacklegend17 during our Bendigo cache run. Quite a few muggles having evening walks with there geodogs along the tracks in this nice parkland. A break in the traffic and we had the cache in hand. TFTC.
Had a few issues with gps with all the trees but we found in the end
Edited for date, since field logs dont know which side of the world i am on!

Found this one but after driving around a couple of streets we finally find the best entry to cache. On walking there we thought it would be on the bridge but it wasent.

One of eight finds today with Teams DEJH and Larzos. A nice walk and a nice easy find for the geokids.

Just as we were about to replace this one Sharna gave the Muggle alert so we strolled innocently along the path only to find out the muggle on the bike was a fellow member of Eaglehawk YMCA cross country I think he was just as surprised to see us there as we were to see him. TFTC
First to log on new log book smile... SL. Thanks rissl for organising the cache and hunt.
The good news is that after the recent flash flooding in the area the cache is still there.
The bad news is that I have drained the cache as it was full of water.
The log book is still wet unfortunately.
I dried the cache as best as I could but it still requires more work to it. Sorry.
I would estimate that the cache may have been under a foot of water on the weekend.

Thanks for letting me know about the water logging. I have replaced the log book on this one. I guess it just shows how high the water must have risen during last Friday's flash flooding.
All better now.
All better now.
Found it! Nice spot, but popular with walking and cycling muggles on the weekend!
I like these ones...Nice and easy...Plugger found this one, actually he found 3 of the 4 that we found tonight...TFTC.
This was cache # 40 of 43 for the day, in the company of Alansee on a very hot day touring Bendigo and surrounds. We were sure it was going to be in the perfect place to hide a cache but it was over there, thankfully Alan came up with the goods in a not so traditional style of hide. My thanks to rissl for the cache.
Found on a hot day caching with Acts2YouthGroup. We both really expected the cache to be hidden on the structure nearby (such a good place to hide a cache!) but the gps said otherwise. We wandered around for a while before I had a sudden thought and there it was. Thanks rissl for the cache.

On our way home from the Intervening Days Event and, needing to stop off at the local supermarket, decided to tick this cache off our Bendigo Still To Do list, having only been doing a minimum for the last couple of months! Reading the last three logs we thought we might need to spend some time at this location, but no, H-P had her geoeye well and truly attuned and she had the cache container in hand very smartly. A very neat first cache, and we are looking forward to some more.

I had bit of a Jurassic experience here. The cache wasn't where I expected it would be and as such spent quite some time searching all over the place. A phone call put me on the right track and sure enough it was right where the coords were putting me. One of those days!
Thanks,

This was my first cache of the trip to Bendigo over the weekend. I left featherdown in the car and said I would not be long. How wrong could I be. After a decent while and a good search I sought a little help with this one and once back on track I had a quick find. Just hadn't looked there it turns out. Happens to all of us.
Thanks rssl.
Thanks rssl.
Thought I would drop in on this one on the way home from touch footy. Such a nice spot on a beautiful warm spring evening. Plenty of muggles, frogs and bird life. Not too disappoint with not finding the cache. Will return when I am not so hungry.
Found by Bevfre 12.00noon Jake the dog and me took walk along the path to the hide,TN LN Thank You rissl
Hi Narissa,
Found your first hide this afternoon on a lovely walking track that we haven't really explored before, we did do the one up further a while ago but didn't realize it was a lovely trail like this.
It was a sunny afternoon and the birds where chirping, the path was cool and the kids where chasing each other, so nice to have them out in the great outdoors instead of on the couch!
Thanks look forward to more of your hides. Took coin left swaps. SL

Found with Hanseeka, Kaztrekka and Zarzeeky, my 192nd find.
Nice hide, enjoyed the walk along the creek. We would have gone for a FTF today but didn't get to see the notification till 1 hour after it was published, The master (Romax) had already found it by then.

Ah ha, Hanseeka's Clan's turn to clean out rissl's caches....
Enjoyed an afternoons walk to cache and back.
Ended up being a mini milestone for me at #200.

Congratulations on your first hide, this is another lovely walking track we may never have experienced without you bringing us here on a geo mission.
Our initial impression as we neared GZ was one of apprehension as this type of environment can be a searchers nemesis!
However your excellent co-ordinates and sensible placement was indeed appreciated.
We left our mark in the log and made no exchange.
Thank you rissl for placing this hide.
