It is not safe to park there as Piggot Road has became busy traffic.. Took the container away.
Thanks for finding my cache in the past. Lava

Down this way with hevwalker and muggle friend, caching for the day.
As this road was quite busy, we were concerned with little room there was available for parking.
As it was, the cache was easy to find, so we didn't need to hang around too long.
Thanks for the cache Lava12

Enjoying catching up with clare007 for a caching day down around the Port Noarlunga area. My semi-muggle friend, Bron came along for the drive. It was a hot & humid morning. We started with the Adventure Lab caches then found regular caches.
We were heading home but stopped for a couple more along the way. The cache was found, signed & placed back as found. Yes parking was a bit dodgy so parked up the road a bit & walked down. I was surprised to see this one had been archived before I had a chance to log it but I fully understand why.

Another great lava cache. Log baggie was broken so we have replaced with a new one to keep the logbook dry. Otherwise cache was in good condition. Found with cachehunter tftc
Found with NiciDanielle. We parked a bit sketchily and got some strange looks from passers by but that is the life of a cacher sometimes. Nice easy find at least. TFTC
Quick stop here today, cache was easily found in the obvious place and is all good
Today with my own event on at the pancake kitchen in Renella, I decided to do a few caches before hand on my way there, after the event I went for a drive with Brad&Janet to Aldinga before leaving on my own for a walk in Onkaparinga. Total of 31 finds

First find of the day, filled another spot on the calendar thanks lava 12
A nice spot with a lovely view. Very cold today!
A nice spot with a lovely view. Very cold today!
I was a bit scared to put my hand in, i used a stick instead! kangaroos and horses were in the hood!
This evening, the plan was to meet weredunn4 at Onkaparinga River National Park, and walk down to the gorge/Punchbowl. I had been there previously with jesswrigley back in March, but today at the start of winter, it had quite a different feel, with water / the river rushing through the gap. There were also many mobs of kangaroos leisurely feeding at dusk.
Prior to our hike, I had a little time spare, and so decided to find a few geocaches in Morphett Vale and Woodcroft on route. A nice sunny afternoon to be outside.
I needed to play a bit of tetris with this cache container in order to remove/extract it from its hiding position. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Lava12 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Some nice views from this position.

It is time for Wednesday wandering, for a small group of geo animals.
The plan was for the Blackadders and SA Sewer Rats to meet Doctor Owl down south.
A nice view, the Rat quickly scurried up to the cache. Tftc

We soon found this cache once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Today was a day I set aside for collecting multi caches. I had identified 12 to tackle. I ended up with 8 found and several I did not attempt.
It was a day of epic frustrations. The Cachly app absolutely did my head in, I hate the new version and wish I still had the old one, but I guess I will just have to get used to it.
I also had a lot of frustration with the multis I did. So many ambiguious questions, it was hard to know reading the description what the COs were thinking with their questions. If only it were a requirement for all so called simple multis to have a simple check sum (not a checker) so you there is less chance of ending up at a calculated GZ to find that you have misinterpreted what the CO needed you to do and then having to back track, sometimes over and over again. Back and forth to plaques and signs.....
I think there were only 3 out of the 8 I did that I thought were straight forward and not ambiguous. There was also issues with missing information at some of the multis and of course my own frustrations of not being able to find caches, but all attempted were eventually located. Parking issues also meant that I didn't attempt a couple on my list and another I arrived at to find it involved climbing on play equipment, today was not a sensible day for that.
I also ended up collecting a few others to make the numbers to the double digits for the day. I also had 2 dnfs on regular caches.
Not my best day caching but at least there are another 8 multis added to the tally and a little closer to my target for the year. Whilst this log is full of moaning I do appreciate all of the hides I found today and the efforts of the COs. Hoping to get to 31 multis for the month, still a long way to go.
Found this one on the way to ORNP to do Underwood Cottage. Found quickly. TFTC Lava12.

Found while over this side of town hunting traditional smilies. Started the day with a DNF, then an FTF, managed to finish the day with a second DNF followed by another serendipitous FTF.

Found it! Nice drive up through this area. Not very busy this morning only saw one car while signing. Added some extra swaps and signed log. Thanks for the cache Lava 12
Woo hoo it's Friday again. For a third time I met up with Froghopping for another great trek into the Onkaparinga River National Park on the search for those elusive smileys. Continuing our clockwise navigation around the park we finished all the precursor ORNP series which we needed to confirm the locations of the two puzzles we need to find to obtain the coordinates of the final in series. Today we added about 15 kms of hiking and went up 88 floors of elevation. [B)] We got about a half dozen others in the park as well. Still gonna take yet a few more trips. [:o)]
Even stopped to grab this quick find on the way to out first trek down inot the Park.

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I did in 2016. I cache with an assortment of cachers and never alone. In 2016 I cached with Moneydork, Ride the GeoWalrus, Locus Cacher, Liz & Bruce and Team Zouk. My log should match up with one of theirs. I enjoy every cache find I have made and do not for one second take for granted the effort going into each one, its just I'm very bad at logging my finds and I'm trying to improve. To improve I have to reduce the quality of my log and just get it over with -- for now. If I can form a good habit again I will return to my once more meaningful logging. Thanks heaps for hiding caches around South Australia that I could find!
A nice quick find whilst caching round Onkaparinga. Some good views were mixed with some intermitent raind, but a good overall afternoon was had.

Have driven past this cache before, but had time today to stop and find it. Had to park up the road a bit as the road is too narrow near the GZ. A quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
After finding a safe place to park, accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well hidden cache. Thanks Lava12 for the cache.
Nice easy find! Took the travel bug and will drop it off in another cache shortly! TFTC!

Had to avoid being obvious to some meandering cyclists.
Was a good find, while no one was driving past.

Not sure why we have missed on looking for this one in the past , so looking for a cache big enough to place a TB in, we forgot this morning when we started the day with a lovely Lava hide, we placed Signal Travel Tag in the cache, signed the log and replaced the cache.
Admired the nice views from here too, took a pic. And went on our way.
Thanks Lava for the cache.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo. We left our Cat safely tucked up in the caravan and set off to explore. We headed out with a mission to reach a 'challenge' cache today, and of course see as much as we could of this great State. Well we saw lots of roadworks and the Tom Tom was very confused with the M2 being closed.
Once we had that sorted we saw some interesting beaches and some lovely green countryside with animals from Kangaroos, Horses, Alpacas and Ducks. Also some fantastic Heritage buildings!
Your cache was one that we chose to help us explore the area so thanks very much lava12

Driven past here more times than I can count but mostly during the day so never had a quiet chance to get out and have a look, noticed it hadn't been found in a couple months, then saw who the CO was, pffft Lava! I know it'll be there! Doesn't miss a beat with her caches.
As expected late at night pulled over and dawdled on over to GZ nice and calmly, found it easy enough, back to the car so I can write in a bit better light, how many hours have passed? Is it peak hour now or something? The hardest part was returning the cache!
Took TB, thanks for another great hide Lava.

Fairly easy once the gps made up its mind about which side of the road the cache was on.
