The geocaching goals for TaurusSix and I today was as much about placing new caches out there as it was about finding existing caches. It was a beautiful spring day , perfect to be out there exploring , walking and of course geocaching. We decided to head out the back of Brunswick Junction and Harvey , including the Harvey Dam area. Many of the tracks we took were quite muddy from the winter rains and a few even impassable which required doubling back . All in all a very enjoyable day out in the country.
This was our second cache find of the day and wow what a fabulous cache location. We made our way to the gated area and then set off walking towards gz. The bush was looking and smelling fresh and alive , the wildflowers have started to bloom. The birds were also in full song. Flocks of parrots and black cockatoo everywhere. As we neared gz we took off into the bush for the last 50 metre stretched in some spots it was quite thick scrub. It did not take long to Sonny’s have cache in hand. The container was full of water and log book wet, we dried the best we could. Thanks for the cache Crash n burn and for bringing us to this fabulous location. It gets a favourite point from us.

This cache will add to my next 2020 goal to REACH FOR THE MOON.
Thanks Crash'n'burn for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 12:18:00. This was my Find 5 for today out of a Total number of 7 Finds and 1 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5131.
Wow, what a drive on a day like today. Cache is in great condition with no issues. Great location, thanks for bringing us here. Fav point from us, TFTC Crash'n'burn!
Thanks Crash'n'burn for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Out today with C10 sorting out some caches from Armadale to Bunbury that have been on the radar.
The main goal was the cache at Nagna Hill Cache 18, a 2002 published cache which is one of the oldest 100 still active in Australia.
Was a great day out with a dozen or so finds, many from the 2004 era.
Thanks for the fun.

Thanks for taking us here we did the circuit and found the other cache in the area. Having lots of tree cover it took us a few circles before we had the prize.
We were surprised to find only a couple of campers in the campground compared to how busy it was only a short distance away at Lake Brockman. Enjoyed the walk and easily found the two caches.
Walked from the campground which was easy terrain. Just 30m of bush when you go off track. Nice reason for a cache. TFTC.
This one we did the hard way, as we went along the road and through the bush. Luckily the gps was getting us to the right spot. There i noticed that it was last found more than a year ago. It is in perfect condition, even the plastic bag. TFTC
thanks..
have been camping here since i was a kid too.. great place.. cheers..

Tftc crashnburn i was staying at lake brockman with my wife and daughter and we went for a drive to hoffmans mill site as we had never been here before. What a beautiful area. We then continued along the road and i bush walked in and found your cache. It was still in good condition. Beautiful area around the cache as well.
a log in the forest no better place to have a rest thanks for for sharing your special place, spent longer time than we needed to here . cache in good condition TFTC TNLN
Getting back into caching, and what better way than to kick off the year with a few smileys. Pleasant day out and about as we grabbed a few caches. Happy New Year.
Nice walk, wish I was on the bike. TFTC

What a lovely story behind this cache. Enjoyed imagining what it was like for you and your Grandad.
A beautiful big log .
Not so beautiful was the way I came into this one . I only had 70m to walk but had to bush bash and I was paying more attention talking to freebkids on the phone than where I was walking so down I went with a scream and disconnected the call .
Found my way to GZ and cache in hand very quickly. And as I had set the car as a waypoint I came across a very easy trail back to the car so darn wished I had seen this one on the way to cache.
Thanks Crash'n'burn

Found on our detour on the way to Dwellingup. Bit of a trek through the bush on a very quiet day. Great spot to camp. TFTH
The better half and I were out for a day of caching and called in to find this cache whilst in the area. Found the cache without problems.
My mother was born at Hoffman Mill as my grandfather was a forrestry worker at the mill at the time. I remember he once told me that the mill had been burnt down twice whilst he was working in it and had been involved in rebuilding it each time.
Thanks Crash'n'burn for the cache.

Out and about exploring the area (and after placing a new cache of our own), we headed towards these couple of caches in the distance . We enjoyed the lovely stroll to this one, and 4yo DangerMouse09 made a quick find here. All was ok and dry inside.
TFTC Crash'n'Burn ... it's great that you have such fond memories of frequenting this peaceful place with your Granddad. Thanks for showing us, and sharing your story [^]. Took Pirate TB to continue its journey

A very nice walk in a very scenic area. So many old train embankments in the southwest of this great state. The signs on the trail add to the enjoyment.
Whoever made the seat on Granddad's Log could have made it big enough for Grandma and a few grandkids too..after all the log is huge.
I did manage to give myself quite an adrenalin rush just before arriving at the cache....I walked through a large spider web and Mrs S was at home . I think i scared her as much as she scared me with my frantic brushing trying to get her off my t-shirt.
We grabbed the trackable in the cache and left another for someone else to move on.
Many thanks for the hide Crash'n'burn [^][^]

Nice cache. Enjoyed trekking though the bush. It was my friends first find. We came at it from off another road, not off the walking trail.
Beautiful walk with Gypsy Roaming.
Thanks for sharing your memories of your Granddad,it is still a nice place to stop for a rest, a fav for me.

Enjoyed a lovely walk to the cache with 1QSeeker. Left a kids pack for young geocacher. Cache in good condition.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Nice bushwalk after we set up camp for the night. Beautiful campsite for ourselves! Cache was easily found and in good condition. Only hazard were the pesky March flies but we managed. TFTC Crash'n'burn.
Looking for somewhere to camp next weekend that has geocaches and noticed that these two caches havent logged - we came here on 9/11/12 Not sure why they wernt logged! Do have photos in my facebook of both caches
Came in the hard way straight through the bush from the road. Cleared the way for my son who was following by moving all the spider webs. But found the cache. Took the TB and will move it along.
Remembered the nearby camp ground from a years ago. Brought geobuddy here on his birthday, planning to come back and stay when the weather warms up a bit. Was delighted to see that some of the orchids are still out. On the way here, I read the logs, and thought this cache would be a good place to leave Rod's Travel Bug, since both the cache and the TB are memorials to peoples grandfathers. I think Rod would have liked this place too. Took lizard and glitter keyring, left TB and glitter keyring. TFTC
great walk thru the bush, brought dad along for his first time caching, think we have a convert
Found it! Took a little while as our GPS wasn't playing ball and bounced all over the place, but we got there in the end!
Beautiful spot for a bush walk.
Thankyou for the cache!

What an awesome way to remember your Grandad. We took some photos of our geokids at his seat.
Cache was easy enough to find.
Took the Travel Bug... will move to a new location.

Lovely place for a relaxing weekend away, though the flies are a tad friendly. Took TB left keyring.
Must have got to this a little after Richlink looks like it would be a great campsite to try. Saw a huge Marron in the river near the collapsed rail bridge.
A nice easy find, we were hoping to get more in the area but with all the motorbikes whizzing around we decided to head back to our campsite.
Thanks for the hunt and bringing us to the spot

Enjoyed the walk through the bush to this site. Beautiful day to be out caching and enjoying nature!
The bushland looked very nice and just a short walk to the cache. TNLN. thanks Crash'n'burn
Came down for a day trip to do this cache (and others in the area). Crash is our Geo Sibling and as mentioned by the cache info the place is very special to us. We camped here often as a family with as many members as possible and always had a great time with Dad (Grandad) always at some stage making pancakes on the fire. There were even times we came down months after the previous camp and our kids would go to their favourite trees they played around and would find some of there toyfigurines left behind from the last time! TNLNSL.
Thanks Crash'n,burn
Thanks Crash'n,burn
What a log, Been here a few times before and never went anywhere near that log before, I guess i was always too lazy to walk the whole trail and turned around at the last bridge every time. What a great walk to pick up a couple of Caches on the way. Thanks for a great afternoon of Caching.
Yukaii !!! FTF. 5 day delay in logging. Grandad had good taste in logs. I searched 3 logs that I thought were more likely, b4 going on to the correct log. I am sure I did not rehide it so well that noone else can find it. The cache is large after all. t4tc tnlnsl
All I can say is that you have hidden the cache well, after 45min the four of us came up with no cache. Oh well! will try again at some stage.
