Went to check on this one today, and it's gone. Won't be replacing it as they have placed traps out near where it was, will be putting a replacement cache somewhere else in the area soon.
On dusk, a magnificent sunset due to the ash cloud from the Chilean, very muddy near GZ, no sign of wasps, and took a while to reveal itself. TFTC
Found the wasps. Had real good look but no luck. Nice park

Attacked this cache from the bottom entrance. The local school kids were out feeding the deer.

A qucik easy find once we got co-ordinates right. Took subway card and left geocoin. TFTC
Just followed the arrow for this one as we went across the park and then followed the path back. We entered from the end that didn’t go past the deer, just past the gardens – which were very nice for a little town. Removed a lolly before it went melted & sticky and wrecked everything else. Quick easy drive. Returning from surprise birthday for youngest sister Gayelene at Moth Resturant in Mandeville
Heading back to Dunedin after Mama completed the half marathon in Invercargill. What a very nice park, full of colour. Very nice hide. Salamat!
@1445 What a beautiful park. Was here a few years for the earlier cache. The rhododendrons are spectacular just now, this is, without doubt, one of the best times of the year to visit this area.

We were visiting friends...they don't do geocaching (yet!), and had no idea they lived only 200m away from our *first find in New Zealand*
Thanks for the cache - lovely little park, visiting in springtime was really nice.

What a gorgeous park! Didn't even know it was there so thanks very much for bringing us there!
Another quick find on our way home. Didn't have time to walk further through the park, nice spot.

Very nice park and easy find. We approached from the top, so StreetWalker drove the car down while I walked down the hill to the bottom. TFTC.
#1180 (2/13 Invercargill to Dunedin). Hidden gem of a park in Gore. Well worth a visit. Thanks for bringing us here.
What a great park! Find was quick and easy. Would have loved more time to spend wandering here. TFTC!
Great day for a bike ride in Gore. Easy find. Interesting to learn about how Bannerman Park got its name - by a solicitor who was instrumental in putting this acreage aside for a park. The cemetery is a nice stop too. So are the i-Site and the museum. There's more to Gore than meets the eye - BIG trout and NZ country western music awards too! Now we're off for 9 holes of golf!

A quick find on an evening walk while staying overnight in Gore. Dropped off Northern Ireland 2008 GC, hopefully it can head from here towards Bluff and Stewart Is. Signed log, TFTC.
This was my 12th of 13 caches today and my 11th and last find. Haven't been to this park in well over a decade, so it was nice to come back! Some muggles were coaxing the deer off the hill with carrots. TFTC
Got to this one before the family did. They were too busy taking photographs. Out for a geocaching drive with Mum from South Africa. Easy find.

Thanks and Happy New Year.
Thanks and Happy New Year.
A really grand park! Lucky enough to get the attention of a “fantailâ€, with it spending five or so minutes flying around us.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found with BonifacTeamCZ. We had to pretend taking pictures of nearby sheep & deer until all bystanders disappeared Very nice hidden park, thanks!
Were here a few years ago cache hunting but had no luck that one had gone, I think it was meters from this one, nice park
Thanks Bitsprayer

Nice area for a cache. We were thinking of putting one here some time ago but as you can see we were beaten to it.
The only muggle around was a rabbit sitting in the grass nearby. It soon took off into the bushes once we approached it.

Maybe we didn't pick the most sensible (or easiest) approach, but got there just before dusk. Beautiful gardens.
Nice easy find, just had to watch the gardeners.
Lovely fragrance from the flowers on the walk.
