Had to wait for some muggles to clear out, but then I instantly found it. Spider has been make a home around it.TFTC
We found it, nice place to spot lots of of different birds on and around the waterThanks for leading us here on our way from Melbourne to Orbost.
#4633Ive driven past the turn off every fortnight for two years and today finally made the turn. GZ was deserted and it wasnt long before I was signing the log. Great spot, thanks for bringing me here.
Woo Hoo - I found 'Dutchy's Place' today while out driving around areas of Gippsland that I don't usually get to visit. It was a nice and quick find as the co-ords were awesomely accurate and GZ was very quiet with only two people getting their boat ready to take out and a local doggo cruising around talking to anyone that would give her attention. I did replace the old log (only 2 spaces left) with a new log - signed the new log and was on my way. Thanks Jimmymaff for setting up and maintaining Dutchy's Place.PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great caching adventure today.
On a camping road trip to East Gippsland and over the border into NSW, Eden, picking up a few caches along the way, this being one of them. The place was deserted today, so we were able to search without any worries. This cache had us looking everywhere, we looked up we looked down and we looked around all without luck. We were just about to leave when Mrs Pooky decided to read some previous logs and it wasn't long before Mr Pooky had the cache in hand. TF placing this cache for us to find on our travels. SL.
Nice spot for a cache, bit of a chilly wind today but beautiful. Thanks for bringing us here jimmymaff. Found with Jimmytherat!
TFTC jimmymaff. A fabulous location for a cache. Tiny, but easy find, hidden in plain sight. Jimmytherat
Nice easy find, bit of a detour on the way home from a weekend caving in Buchan. Nice little spot, tftc
I vaguely recall coming here once in the distant past but if my photo dates are correct it was about 4 days prior to this cache being "born", as it were! "Missed it by that much" to quote a line used by Maxwell Smart (from the old Get Smart spoof series).
Anyway it took a while for us to locate it but once I plucked up the courage to stick my pinky into the spiders web thingy I managed to unearth (if that's the right word) the teensy weensy container - a size that Jimmymaff seems to like using!

Dang it was within 1m and as hard as I look could not find it - dang it jimmymaff - note still have the Nautilus shell you got me lol muggles around even at 9am -
Toilets and two concrete picnic tables here. Had morning tea and a walk around. The cache is definitely in place and coords are accurate... It is quite tiny. All good.

Haven’t been to Holland landing in years changed a lot no luck finding the case though and I was running out of time to make the train on sale for my son will try again next time I’m here thanks anyway
A quick find with mezza74 and muggle mother.
With rumours of yet another lockdown looming we headed out in the morning to grab a quick cache to fill a calendar gap. Being a lovely sunny day there were a few people fishing but mostly they were out of sight or absorbed with their fishing. Signed log just as they announced lockdown confirmed from 1.00 pm so nothing else to do other than head back home.
Thanks Jimmymaff

Got a call from d.geo to head out for a quick cache grab. A quick find with the cache being where I expected.
Thanks Jimmymaff it has - been a while since I detoured down to Hollands Landing

Looking for a place for afternoon tea and we ended up here. Lucky we brought our own. If we had a boat and fishing rod we’d have been in the right place I guess.
Thanks indeed

Found today 1/1/2021 9 years and still here. Filled in part of our cold windy arvo
As we gradually make our way home we were curious to visit Holland’s Landing. It was an overcast morning and no boating or fishing activity to be seen. I imagine the place must be busy in summer. Thanks for the smiley distraction during our visit.
Fairly much devoid of human life as we arrived just after daylight and made our way to GZ. An easy find here and we managed to get the container open and sign the log. Maybe if someone has a spare 'O' ring they can fit to the container, it would stop it being done up too tight again.
Thanks Jimmymaff for the placement here.

Very quiet here today.

It's been done up to tight.
Needs pliers and I didn't have any in the car.
Replaced in its spot hopefully the next seeker can get it open.

With the sunlight fading quickly, we made this the last cache of the day. We’ve got to come back some time to see the place in daylight. GZ was found pretty quickly but the cache proved more elusive, until I checked a spot the geo partner had already searched. I couldn’t see it, but I did feel it. We were soon on our way home.
We didnt find it. We are really new at this but im really proud we gave it a good go.
Hubby waiting in the car with sleeping kids and i went hunting on my own.
I got stuck in the mud, the hinge came off my thong and i almost fell in.
But i used my phone as my cover and got some great pics!

On our way back home from Lakes, decided to take the long way around and call in to HL. We haven't been here for a good 26 years or so, but not much has changed apart from the better jetty facilities. We had the place entirely to ourselves so I guess nothing much is on the bite right now. SL TFTC
A nice easy find as no muggles around today. A great location I enjoyed just being here Very quiet & peaceful.

Off on the last day of the geoson's football season and we called down to Hollands Landing to check out the Lake with an idea of going for a paddle. Collected this cache while we were here with an easy find. TFTC
Not a lot changed in Holland's Landing in the 20+ years since I was here last other then the new waterfront reconstruction. Tftc

What an amazing out of the way spot. No one around today. Glad I made the detour on the way home. Lots of bird life. Water everywhere today. Pity the cache is a nano otherwise would definitely get a favourite point from me. Thanks for the cache.

Cold wet and windy day, so went for a drive to see what's here... Not much! Nice clean cache. Tftc!
Found while out with taurus1955 and B/dale Bandits on a cold, wet day. One car was parked nearby but didn't see any muggles. Great new boat ramp and facilities. The toilets had a unique flushing system that I have not seen before! TFTC
Today was an extremely cold, wet and windy day , just right for caching as there were no muggles around. A very easy cache to find on a blustery day.

Tftc. Found it on a hot spring evening but fortunately not a sole in sight. Had to get my sea legs for this cache. .. loved it. I haven't had a reason to come here before but am glad this cache brought me here
Spent long time talking to muggle who had interesting knowledge about the lakes area but who would not leave! Finally found cache. Started writing on backside of log sheet. Lovely area and fantastic jetty. TFTC
Found whilst on current 6 week campervan holiday through outback & rural NSW, & rural Vic. Nicely blended camo but easy to find today with not a soul to be seen anwhere....no doubt because of the blustery cold wind and surf at the jetty. SL.TFTC!
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Paynesville and surrounding areas using geocaching as our guide.
We found 25 caches and this was one of them. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Time for our first coffee of the day and we sat down in the picnic ground before turning our attention to the cache. Not too many fishermen about today and no boaties so the coast was clear for good search. As it turned out the coordinates took us right to the spot and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for putting a cache in this great spot.
Went with footy 2000 and a couple of new converts footy led the way and the sheep followed to gz went to wrong side first then to other where cache was spotted and logged tftc
During our drive up the coast this was one of the caches we found. Thanks for showing us this place! Thanks for placing the cache!

Question???? What happens when your on your Wedding Anniversary day out and your looking for a cache and bend over the water near the boat ramp with your Mobile phone in your open shirt pocket???? Answer, falls out and does,nt float !!! Guess what i need from Santa ??? Give this find a FAV, because of the drama in getting this find...
No one around today but I can see that on a good fishing day this may be a little difficult to do.
Should have brought the rods..

This was our second Jimmymaff cache for the day and was a nice quick grab. The putting back however was a bit harder as we had to wait for a few groups of people to take their boats out. I haven't been down this was for quite a long time, thanks Jimmy
No luck today as it was muggle central when we were there! I ended up being a bit too obvious and had to explain geocaching to a fisherman. He liked the sound of it (-: TFTC
Another bright and sunny but cool winter's day. Dragons and bears out to grab a few caches around the local area and enjoy the fresh air. Yet another reason to enjoy geocaching. This one has been sitting here waiting as we regularly drive by about 10km away. This time made the left turn. Amazing how wet the land down this way still is. Very obvious where the lakes would extend to with a relatively small rise in level. Plenty of cars in in the car park, but only a few fisherfolk at the waters edge, and luckily nowhere near the GZ.
The find was quickly made, coordinates being accurate. Cache is in good condition, considering the rather harsh environment down here. SL. Replaced cache.

Found late this afternoon as the sun was setting on a short ride out after work with killerpineapple on the new geo-cycle.
Nice ride out but was starting to chill down a bit, on the plus side to cold for bugs and mossies. A nice easy find as no muggles around, all at home stoking up their fires.

Our twentieth day of our honeymoon to New Zealand and Australia.
Yesterday evening we had some big scary moths in our camper van. After having a nice night of sleep we had breakfast. *Ba tried to build a bun healthy (in Dutch called broodje gezond). After doing the dishes we were ready to drive to Buchan, a very long drive of about 400 kilometers. The first cache of the day was a remembrance moment. As the hint was so clear Jo went along to the very very big tree. While being on the point to go inside (so big was the tree), she discovered a very big living animal and she screamed and start running back. Arriving back at the camper van she took the photo camera with her and Ba and had again a look to the Wombat. As he was being on the cache, we did not log that cache. The Co Pilot navigation system took us through the hills and wanted that we followed a gravel road. We tried but after several hundred of meters we turned around and followed the much longer way on asphalt. During our drive we were called by Apollo in the person of Heith if all problems were solved now. Now the heating problem is gone by itself but we still had no TV. So we were asked to drive to a shop in Sale to let it fix. After that we decided to look for a powered camper site which we found at number 33 Lake View Caravan Park at the Holland Landing close to Sale (50 km) and not to drive to Buchan. After a short walk along the lake we went back to the camper van to test the tv. Yes, finally it works. As a diner we will have tandoori wraps with chicken, Greek yogurt, cucumber and lettuce.
We found this cache today about 03.25 PM local time.
As real Dutchies we could not let this cache unlogged. After checking in at the camp site we parked our camper van and had a walk around whereby we also passed this cache. We could not spot the cache immediately and while Jo* was sitting down to read the cachelisting and the logs on 1m from the location pointed by the GPS, *Ba was still searching. After we both start searching again, *Ba discovered the cache on the place where Jo* was sitting just some minutes before. After logging we walked to the water, where we saw a pelican and a white heron.

Founds this cache in the cold wind, after a detoured trip back to lakes. Had to do a little "praying" to find it, but got it in the end. No one around, so I did not have to be very stealthy.
Great hide. Had to wait for muggles to vacate area. No mossies, a few fisher people. TFTC
Beautiful area and it was nice, quiet and relaxing. But after much searching, we couldn't find the cache.
the winds had come up strong never been here before and wanted to launch the tinny to find more caches but not today - thanks for bringing me here Jimmy maff
