While camping in Landsborough for a few days with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and try finding a few caches ...
This should have been an easy puzzle, but my eyes just didn't want to 'see' what they needed to.
But a gentle 'hit in the back of the head with a heavy blunt object' from TB soon had them seeing what they were supposed to and the coords soon appeared.
All Good .. TFTC ..

nice mystery, we thought it would match the dwarves in the maze, but used google in the end. TFTC
the superbee closed before i was born, but i know lots about disney so miss direction let me solve this one TFTC
Out and about with clues blues and we decided to pick this one up, she really enjoyed solving this one. Unfortunately the log was very wet and we are not carrying replacements today but we signed as best as we could TFTC
As this is one of the closest puzzles near my mums, coming back to visit some time ago, i remember having a bit of fun checking and finally figuring a likely set of coords at the time.
However, not having access to a car i left it in the solved but unfound pile. (A relatively small one back then)
Until today! Which saw me carting my new fangled electric tredly on the train up from the big smoke, and out at Eudlo station, which i reasoned (rightfully so, it turns out) was an easy ride down and into the locale. Rolling past gz, i was quick to remember there being a puzzle near this maze and i was off the bike and signing away before too long. Log was a little wet (or has been) so signing was a little difficult, and the game notes are little more than a squiggy mush, otherwise, all good here.
Thanks teambenders for keeping this one alive!
Found about four thirty this afternoon.
Find number 842.

Thursday. I had solved this puzzle the night before our trip up to this area for the weekend. I wasn’t 100% sure I had the co-ords correct as there was a question or two that I just couldn’t confirm that I had the right info on. We realised after we’d parked the car and tried to find this cache that we weren’t in the right area at all. Going back through some previous logs we realised where we think we went wrong and after a quick PAF to a previous finder and our suspicions were confirmed. We made the quick drive to the correct spot and found the very obvious looking spot. Signed the log and replaced the container. It was getting late in the day now and I think we were both starting to feeling hungry by now. Very nice area and we wished we’d seen it when not so much road works had taken place around here. Seems like the sunny coast has changed a lot since I was young!
This was the 8th of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Team Benders***, for showing us this place.

i solved this puzzle along time ago and wasn't sure if I had the correct coordinates. today i was on my way to xmas lunch from brisbane and had a great run . hardly any traffic so my sights were finding this cache. great spot for a cache and happy start to xmas. merry xmas and thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
This was an unexpected smiley today. My awesome geopartner WallabyTim and I visited the maze with friends from Hattonvale for a birthday treat. While our visitors had morning tea, we checked our phones for any nearby caches. A group effort helped solve the questions and a quick find was made before we headed off to the Ginger Factory to continue the fun day. TFTC
Up in the area today this was Wombles and my 2nd for the day, after working out the confusion on where to park and where to get the info from we finally realised there were no dwarfs next to Snow White.!?!? I have never seen Snow White without her trusty sidekick dwarfs nearby. We realised that the info has to be sourced online and even then there was some ambiguity with some of the answers. Once we had sorted out as much as we could we decided to give it a go. So we moved the car when we hadn't needed to, we parked so close to it originally that we could have almost reached it. I did find it uncovered so when replacing I covered it up properly. TFTC
After a trip out in a boat this morning, this was our next stop. We spent way more time on this then we needed to and Rhobocacher had actually walked past the cache earlier on.
This was a fun puzzle, though we still didn't know the answer to one question and just guessed and got it right anyway!

This one took me a lot longer to solve than it probably should have but I got there in the end . But I really enjoyed the research

TFTC Team Benders. Thought it was about time that I started on some of the local mystery caches and this was good fun. Enjoyed the quiz but have to acknowledge the help of Mr Google.
Yay our first mystery cache. The clues were solved last night and waypoint added. This is so close to home that it was a short walk right to the point and a very quick find. A great way to finish the day after 3 DNF's. Thanks for the fun challenge.
I had solved this puzzle a little while ago and as I was heading south today, I thought that I would make a diversion and grab it.
I had entered the coordinates into the GPS and followed the area which stopped in the middle of an open space with no place to hide a cache.
I thought that I must have solved the puzzle incorrectly as I did not check the result and phoned the CO to ascertain if I was in the right spot. Indeed I was. The GPS was not playing nice.
On further investigation the cache was in hand, the log solved and the cache returned as found.
All is good with this cache.

Very cute idea and very fitting. It's been awhile since we've been here so will have to make an effort to come back. Solved the puzzle a few months ago as my first so was a bit worried I had it wrong. But luck would have it that I did manage to solve it correctly. Signed log and waited for a quick break from the cars before returning as found. TFTC!
Passed by today.
Container a little wet outside but all is dry inside.

Us3scouts solved the puzzle last night we were hoping to find some time today to earn a Pi day souvenir. We parked close to the co-ords and made our way to GZ in the dark and we discovered the cache after a short search. TFTC Team Benders.
I solved the puzzle last night hoping to find some time today to go for a look and earn a Pi day souvenir. Luckily we had a Scouting activity to attend and this cache was on the way home. We parked and made our way to GZ in the dark and after a short search, seirra1 found what we were looking for. Thanks for the cache Team Benders.
In the 2.5 mths since last find, this final cache is certainly well rooted! Thanks for the puzzle. Found at 7.15 on 18th Jan 2015. TFTC.
Solved this puzzle before leaving home, thanks to Google. At GZ, GPS was spot on and we soon found the cache. Deserves a favourite point from us for the puzzle. TFTC
Gotcha! Thanks for all your encouragement Team Benders.

We thought we had all the answers correct... Though it does depend on which picture you look at. We peeked over the fence at Snow White but all the dwarves were out! Will go back another day when we have a little more time.
Out and about, picking up a few caches in the area.
Really enjoyed doing the research on the internet. With the new co-ords we headed off to GZ.
Cache found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team Benders, for us and others to find.

Colour blind so hat question throw me! Log a bit wet from august rain....TFTC!!
Fun puzzle to do. had fun getting the clues and finding the cache. But unfortunately the container is looking a bit sad . The log is a bit wet and it was just lying on the grass. Was this intended or has it maybe been muggled? Anyway it was a gr8 cache to find/solve and we enjoyed it. TFTC TNLNSL.

Trying to find all the question mark caches on the sunny coast, I thought I better attend to this one. Ive been rather SLEEPY about getting getting to this one, and BASHFUL admitting it. Today in the rain I was GRUMPY but after I signed it I was HAPPY. When I was solving this puzzle I was probably a little bit DOPEY, and at GZ tody I was a little SNEEZY...(because I suffer from hayfever). Anyhoo, all done now, thats the DOCtor.
Thanks irzerunner for the puzzle, and Benders for keeping it going.

I found this fun little cache just before going away on holidays and forgot to actually do the logs before I ran away.
Remembering back to childhood to answer this '?' was a little difficult... Come on, remembering back to yesterday is hard enough. So I had to refer to my good old mate, GOOGLE.
After looking at a few images I was able to answer the Q's and grab a set of co-ords. Once close to GZ I was right and found the cache in no time.
Thanks for the cache 'Team Benders'. The logbook may require a little TLC when your next out that way.

On my way to an event today at Dunethin Rocks near Bli Bli with a bunch of fellow cray caching enthusiasts and thought I would get an early start to pick up a few caches on the way.
This was my second for the day, and one that I had solved last night in the comfort of home. A few if the clues proved tricky, but only one remained unsolvable. With a bit of intuition I soon had a set of coords that looked kind of good and fitted the description.
The find today was quick and easy, and at a very appropriate location.
Nice puzzle and GZ thanks Team Benders! Well played.

The subject was not something that is exactly my specialist subject but I did know a couple of answers. Mr Google helped with the rest. Out to specifically find this and another solved puzzle this afternoon. Gz was definitely a good fit for the puzzle.

Feeling a bit off today so I figured a bit of fresh air [and a couple of geocaches] might do me good. When I pulled up at GZ I knew there was only one place it could be. TFTC and the puzzle.
Did this puzzle a while ago but on checking the co-ordinates today it had me going to Glenview?????? Worked out the wrong digit and was upon GZ in a flash. Cache surprisingly very easy to find and all is intact. Tftc

After working out new co- ords, GZ was spot on. Standing at GZ cache was visible so was a quick find. TFTC SL
Called in on the way home from the Event today and replaced the logbook

Yay, our first mystery type cache! [^] I worked out the clues on the weekend although I agree with some other cachers that the colour of some of the dwarves' clothing is a bit ambiguous. Luckily, still managed to figure out to new co-ords but then I was going past yesterday planning to make the find, and found the whole road clogged with roadworks especially right in front of the maze. Too many muggles to contend with during the day at the moment, so came back today after dark. Quick find with torch and clues in hand. Log wet but still signable, might need a replacement though. 1835h Looking forward to seeing the new hedge maze when it grows back in a year or so. #316 tftc Team Benders

Marco did the research to solve the puzzle - he is still not sure what colour Sneezy's headpiece is, but was able to make an educated guess based on the other answers. At GZ we were able to make a quick find and took the cache back to the car to sign the log. We then had to wait to return it as there was a muggle walking towards us - however he turned around and walked away so we were able to finish. TNLNSL TFTC
I remember trying to solve this puzzle once but managed to find nothing but a bunch of conflicting websites. It would seem there are many variations on a theme for this. I figured maybe a visit would sort it out and haven't looked at it much since.
So this afternoon heading home with Nyssaflutterby and membsec I was doing my best impression of Sleepy in the passenger seat and next thing I know, we were near this one. It seemed those who had solved this one forgot to bring said final co-ords so we instead wandered around looking. No luck a PAF was made to make sure the guess was right and a little relocation later had us in the right spot and a very easy find. Nice to end the day on a question mark icon. On the road home from the Forest Challenge with NysaFlutterby and Captain Terror. Had tried this on an earlier visit but some confusion with one question led us into a maze and no happy ending. Today we returned correctly armed and "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to a cache we go". At last another one off our list.

I was headed home from the Forest Challenge with membsec and Captain Terror. As we had no plans and a small amount of time we were stopping to pick up any caches that were just off the highway.
Membsec and myself should have already found this cache last weekend in the company of the MEG3 group but somehow at one point we had lost the army and missed finding this cache with everyone else! So today was a good opportunity to make it a smilie Membsec had solved the puzzle but had left the final coords at home. A quick PAF however soon had us headed in the right direction. A small search later had the Terror coming up with the goods.

MEG#3. This was a quick find when we got there. The container was uncovered and quite visible. We signed the log and replaced and covered it over a bit better. Nice cache. TFTC.
This cache was mobbed as part of 2013's Mission Empty Glass (MEG) - tackling all caches in 'The Glasshouse Mountains'. Mysteries, Micros, Multis, Mountains, Madness, the lot. MEG#3, the Glass Borders, was a day trip around the outside of the defined Glasshouse Mountains. I put out the call if anyone would like to join me for the trip, expecting I'd hope a couple at least to share the day ... was joined by up to 27 of us at the peak, in convoy. Big day out for some caches. Across the day we mostly consisted of myself with Censations, net88, La Kedi, Fangsoki, Sweet_bee, Bedmaker, TassieGirl, Jimmyproject, Karen_hippo, Brother Colin, Iolanthek, T-Tech, Hiltonclan, Nyssaflutterby, membsec, Crew153, Ms Maddy, Nurseyjulie, Hunting Rabbit, Dansync and Just-a-trifle.
The only puzzle of the day, and I believe all members had managed to solve it so that no jetskiing was required. And so the convoy rolled into Dwarfville - location undisclosed - and a few early arrivers sat down next to GZ so as to get to the right height. Some were already naturally the right height. The find was fairly simple at that point, and for the later arrivals it was an easy location to pick with 20 odd (and I mean odd) cachers sitting around it.
Thanks for placing this cache, 1uzferunner (adopted by Team Benders). Found in good condition.

At this stage we'd joined the MEG#3 mini-event and were in the convoy. That's a 10-4 Big Buddy!

Headed north out of Brisbane with IolantheK set for a big day of caching through and around the Glass House Mountains as part of Pprime (P`)'s MEG#3 mob
For those not in the know MEG stands for "Mission Empty Glass" or to explain, P` wants to bag these caches and a bunch of us cachers went along to get them as well [^])
A great day was had by all with a mile stone or two to boot.
This was cache 32 of 39 finds and 3 DNF today [^]

I was part of the MEG #3 group doing a cache assault in the area. I had solved the puzzle some time ago but hadn't found the time when traveling past to stop to get the cache.
Today it appeared like a Flash Mob as about 10 cars and 27 cachers converged on the cache to witness the group signing and then disappeared again..
TFTC and the puzzle. I must check out the venue when I get a chance. It was closed at the time we were there.

Find #907 at 15:25 after a day-long visit to the nearby tourist attraction. It certainly is easy to get lost around here!
We had better luck with the cache quiz than we did with the maze's version of the puzzle! (Their dwarves, incidentally, give slightly different results.) Still not 100% sure where *their* dwarves are, but we found this cache with no drama at all. Carted away some rubbish from GZ while we were at it.

La Kedi had a great time finding out all the info on the Dwarfs. It's been a long time since I took her to see that movie. Anyway, with the puzzle solved and the co-ords in hand it wasn't long before we pulled up at GZ only to have Agap2 and his little ones join us. The kids were on to the cache straight away with squeals of delight. More delight followed as one of them discovered how to turn the water off at the entrance gate to the maze. Thanks Team Benders
After attending the event at the Botanic gardens we thought what a great way to finish off the day - nicely done. Thanks Team Benders
I spent quite a long time sorting out the answers, and was astounded at the plethora of Seven Dwarves out there! In the end, I found yval's log immensely useful, and got the coordinates spot on. Pulling up at GZ on the way to an event today, we jumped a little when another car pulled up right behind us, only to grin when Agap2 and kids hopped out . We moved the cars down the road into the carpark and walked back to GZ past the Minotaur totem pole and motheaten hedge words. Once we circled our way to GZ, it wasn't long at all before one of the kids had pounced on the cache and the logbook was duly signed. Back to the cars, a quick play with the excellent waterfall gate, and off to the event we went, where I later met the CO. Fun! TFTC, Team Benders! =^.^=
Arrived at GZ and was about to start the hunt, but it just didn't seem right, so decided to leave it for another day. On the way back out and I spot the cat and a marble. We stopped and compared notes.... seems my research on the little guys wasn't entirely up to scratch. So we searched again, and soon had the cache in hand. We returned to the car park and watched as my boy figured out how the waterfall gate worked!! He was very chuffed with himself.
So glad to have another puzzle on the sunshine coast!! thanks 1uzferunner and Team Benders.

at 12:03 on our second attempt today.
We could not work out the value of k from our research of several sets of images. We decided to guess but chose wrong. That put us in a position we had a long drive around back roads to get back on our track to the Botanic gardens where we were heading.
While in the gardens we received a hint from another geocacher as to a landmark close to the cache. From there we could correct our guess for k and hence calculate correct coordinates which proved to be spot on. We subsequately found another source which effectively gives the value of k but we still have trouble accepting its correctness.
There was no sign of the TB which is supposed to be in the cache.
TFTC Team Benders. The cache is fine.

Out with Brother Colin today. I had solved this ages ago, but lost my scribbled answer. It's much easier second time round. Pulled over near GZ, and there was not many places it could be. Liked the location
Out and about with Teamdfl on the Sunshine Coast. A big day planned on a great, sunny winter's day.
I have almost solved this one, just haven't quite got the right answers to some of the questions. Teamdfl, on the other hand, has solved this one.
Thanks for the cache. The cache is in good condition.

We visited the nearby attraction a few years ago and the kids really enjoyed it. They weren't with us today so we only came for the cache. Now I know everything I ever wanted to about those dwarves. TFTC
Nice puzzle! Solved by EM (kid #2; and by me as a check :->), but thank goodness for the hints on that. Found and navigated by EM and SP (kid #4) in the middle of a shopping outing. Quick find once we had the coordinates (thought the GPS had us about 20m away, there wasn't really anywhere else to look!).
Dropped off a trackable.
Log slightly damp, but we could still sign OK.
Update: JM (kid #5) and I went again later that day, and JM "found" it too! He was so excited...!

Finally got the chance to come back for this one au fter working the coords out mownths ago. Thanks.
Mr Wesso has had his eye on this one for a while now, but needed me, Mrs Wesso to solve the puzzle for the co-ords. This was easy with the help of the World Wide Web. So we headed off to find GZ. The GPSr took us straight to a very quick and easy find.
The cache was in clear view, so after signing the log, we replaced the cache where we found it, with a little extra cover over the top.
We are wondering why the description says it is an ammo tin.
Log was a little damp, but OK.
