Always harder to find caches at night time, but got there in the end. Thanks.
This was an easy find by a Dutchman on family visit. The cache was well hidden, but never the less........ TFTC.
We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort at Gold Coast and then at Big4 NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort at Arrawarra (Coffs Harbour), with some other as yet undetermined overnight stops along the M1 route there & back. Will be attempting to log a broad selection of cache types whilst in Queensland (at least one each of Trad, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Earth, Wherigo, Virtual, & AdLab), including a visit to Queenslands oldest geocache GC8E - Queens land. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today (day 3) we went for stroll along the Broadwater Parklands at Southport, collecting some Adventure Lab stages and a Traditional cache, but sadly we also had some DNFs. We then collected a few random Traditional caches around the Southport area, followed by a fairly lengthy Wherigo cache starting at a cemetery, before ending the caching day with a Letterbox hybrid cache. The rest of the afternoon was spent lazing around the Treasure Island Holiday Resort pool. This was the 7th of 11 finds for the day (day 3), and 23rd find of the holiday. After collecting some Adventure Lab stages and a Traditional cache along the Broadwater Parklands at Southport, we next arrived at this one in the backstreets of Southport, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Aussie Liahona.Find #6658
That was a hard find as the eclipse tin seemed to be missing, but was able to pinpoint the location of the cache from previous photos of tin. Good work, mate!Left a little something for the next find
Parking was limited on the nearby/adjacent side street, but eventually I managed to steal the last parking space. A short walk through the park, and I did expect a more formal track through this area. Upon arrival at GZ, I needed to make a couple of loops around the tree, even when I spotted the suspicious camouflage, but I just needed a boy look / deeper search before finding the prize. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Aussie Liahona](https://coord.info/PR34PKD) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, with a CITO event scheduled in the Broadwater Parklands in Southport, it was a trip south to the Gold Coast. After finding lots of rubbish around the water's edge, I ventured around to the Spit and after a short walk, it was a trip in the kayak to South Stradbroke Island across the channel. In the afternoon, I potted around Southport visiting reserves and parks, which included my highlight visiting the Brickworks Centre. At the beginning and end of the trip's travels, I visited several Locations from the [Theme Parks of South East Queensland](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/103147d5-9a5e-494c-b263-91e99988d7b8) Adventure Lab: Dreamworld, Sea World, Movie World, and WetnWild.

Our little holuday is almost over but still time for at least one more cache
This one found easily and muggles nowhere to be seen.
Signed log before replacing and moving on.

Early morning start for a day of caching with Peppa on the Gold Coast. I had no list of caches but Peppa managed to find some we both haven't found.
Parking at a premium here but finally found a spot. At gz we made a quick find. Log signed cache returned.

A day on the fabulous Gold Coast with Patrol14 caching through Parkwood, Molendinar, Southport & Main Beach… An easy day attempting to clean up the map…
It took longer to find parking than it did to find the cache… so many yellow lines…
Thanks Aussie Liahona

Great spot! Very happy to find after last person DNF!
Also no longer eclipse tin as mentioned. It’s in a plastic tube now.

Thanks geocache creator! AK and HMM very first geocache find & first find of this one in 2023.
After a dig around in a likely spot, I found it. Thanks Aussie Liahona and have a great new year

Relocated to the coast for an appointment, and with a little time to spare I decided on a walk to stretch the legs before the drive home again. Quick find here today.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for entertaining me at this location.

We were walking through the bushes and it took us a while but we finally found it !!!
Had a nice walk through the park and saw some bats in the trees on our way to find this one
Description may need to be updated for the cache capsule, but found it easily!
Found the original and noted how squished it was. Had to scroll the comments to realise a new one had been put in. TFTC!
Another great park thanks to Aussie Liahona. Last one for the day with Leaffairy12 cause I still had the drive back to NSW
Have come and placed a new cache here as the other one is too crushed. It’s just a little lower than the old eclipse tin that is still partly visible.
Please cover the new preform by tucking in some paperbark over it.
Thank you and happy caching!

What a lovely walk I had along this trail. I took my time to enjoy the serenity and once at GZ I used the hint (Thank you) to find the cache and lucky I had some tweezers to pluck out the log book. The tree has really cuddled this cache. Thanks for all the fun
Found it! Lid was no longer on the container and I couldn’t see it anywhere on the ground. Good hide!
Out with franjastia to watch the touch rugby so we hade to look for these as we were so close and a quick find was made tftc
Bring some tweezers to be able to get it out of the case! Otherwise very cool hiding spot.
Find No: 8400. Visiting from Newcastle staying at my brother's at Nerang, had Mother's Day lunch and played bowls at Musgrave Hill. That tree is getting pretty cranky with that mint tin, thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona!!
Checked here today. It’s amazing to me how quickly this cache has been contained by the tree. It now has a new waterproof log within. Please press it on a tissue, the leg of your jeans, or some dry grass, if you can’t write on it because it’s damp and then it should be fine. We’ll try to place another container shortly.
Found empty ,needs a new log as I didn't have any on me . first find of the day hopefully first of many finds. Thank you
Was fun to find, some goodies were lodged inside managed to free them with a stick but unfortunately everything is a bit wet atm.
This cache is an easy one. Watch out for muggles though! You are looking for a black eclipse tin these days. THERE IS NO WRITING IMPLEMENT INCLUDED> PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TO SIGN THE LOG. Please make sure the cache cannot be seen when you are finished by replacing the hiding material (a bit of paper bark).
The park where this cache is located is alongside the Loders Creek. There is play equipment for the kids, a picnic shelter and table, bench seats, and a rubbish bin for the cache in, trash out. There is a large grassy area for ball games or for the kids to play chasings. There is a small trackable with it's activation code for the First to Find to activate and use as their own. GRUNDIES took FTF honours for this cache. Congratulations!!

Expecting something tucked in a crevice, not grown into place. Needed the car keys to open the lid and the log was a little damp, but if there is water in the container you will never get it out.
A quick find but I was unable to extract it as it was very firmly embedded. A bit of time and a screwdriver might do the trick. TFTC
Found in the end, took a while to get out as it felt like the tree had maybe grown around it! Picture is a spoiler!
Found it pretty quickly.
Just want to point out the absolute stunning tree in the area. It's a mix of a paperbark and another tree that have grown in and around eachother.
Definitely check it out because it's incredible.

My goodness! We did not find that quick! but we didn't want to walk away! Glad we persevered. Great hide! TfTC
This cache could be missing. We are away and will check on it when we return.
Apologies for any inconvenience!

Had to be in Southport early for some business so what to do afterwards? Obvious, find some caches! There a few spread around this area that for some reason we just hadn't visited.
The park was quiet, so we could look around the obvious spots with muggle concern. There didn't appear to be anyone armed with binoculars in the adjacent residences. Fairer half spotted it while other half was looking at the phone.
All good with the cache here. TFTC Aussie Liahona
