New sign. Cache replaced.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the tenth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was so hot. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. On our travels we stopped to grab this cache a nice quick find, thanks for placing it
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and returning through the centre to SA and home again. Today, we are exploring Katherine and picking up some caches as we go. Thanks for the cache slat's.
Travelling with iluvtrekking and after spending twelve days in Darwin are now caching Katherine and surrounds. Quick find here, - thanks for the hide.
Day 43 of our greynomad trip up north and after a the JLWEvents, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, we are attempting to escape the southern weather that has been wet and windy.
Found quickly while we were out searching this part of our country.

Walked along Katherine river tonight, lots of water still flowing well under the bridge. Quick find here in between many muggles driving past both ways. TFTC
Just stopped by and replaced the broken zip lock bag to hopefully preserve the log in the broken container
After checking in at our hotel in Katherine we had lunch and we’re able to cool down enough to go on a second caching round for the day before grabbing a maccas burger in the carpark for dinner. It’s very hot during the day here and even the 5pm sun had a serious bite to it. We came from pine creek this morning. TFTC
This one was found in good condition. Pity someone has torched the back of the sign. People are a bunch of bastards.

Found it after walking around the sign a few times and waiting for cars driving past.
The log book was soaked, replaced with a sheet, but the container is broken so it will probably only last until the next rain.

Last full day in Katherine today, were bugging out sometime in tomorrow morning (heading for Mataranka) so it’s revisit time to the Cutta Cutta Caves and then some geocaching around town. Might squeeze another swim in at the hot springs in as well it time permits.
Nice quick find here today.
**Thanks for placing this cache slat's**

We dropped a Trackable in this one, nice sized cache for the deed.
We pulled up near ground Zero and didnt like our chances as it looked a bit burnt in the area, then we realized it was an intentional burn so the cache was fine. Good fire prevention around here, wish South Australia could do something a little more proactive when it came to burn offs before summer. So many of our areas end up very hazardous in the lead up to summer.
What a great water spot nearby, as per cache name . ...... the level was low today!!
We stopped to admire the water in the nearby park and wow we havent ever seen that many bats before they were hanging quietly in the trees on the other side of the bank, bit stinky though.
Thanks slat's for the cache. Found it signed it and replaced as found after popping in a TB.

Staying with Turbo on the hill right near here, do couldn't miss this one in a fabulous location. Thanks
We are staying close by, and this afternoon, as a gentle breeze had come up to cool the day down, we decided to come for a walk from our camp site.
At GZ, We did a loop or two before deciding on a likely spot.
We then were able to add our name to the log in between the cars that seem to frequent this quite busy road.
Thanks slat’s

After a great trip around half the country, up the west coast to Darwin via Kunnunura, Katherine, a amazing two weeks in Darwin, out to Jabiru and Litchfield. Down the middle to Alice Springs then on to Millicent for the Geoventure2020 (in 2021).
We then hit the road to cross the WA border before it closed due to a few cases in SA.
Now we are home with a few of the major repairs finished, it is nice to have an opportunity to catch up on logging some finds that need more information as part of the logging requirements.
A huge thank you to all the COs along our travels.

TFTC. Found on the trip out of Kakadu now to Queensland. Launched three canoes from this point back in 1991 and canoed for six days to be picked up at Helensvale 160 km downstream.
Swam every day-even when the river was large. We were tough back then and didn’t worry about crocs. Of course there were only about 10% of the number of today

TFTC. A nice quick find. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley. I found the cache in the way to the Katherine Gorge tour. What an amazing day.
The level of this river is fine at the moment, I would love to see it in flood though. It must be a mighty sight. The cache was found exactly where I thought it would be.
A nice quick find but not where we expected to find it. Thanks for the cache slat's
Travelling and caching with our friends 2beez, 2As and petebev.
A nice day out picking up a few more caches.
Left swap
Thanks slat's

Not where we expected it to be but an easy find. It was exposed but has a bit more covering now. TFTC
After an interesting walk across the bridge to find it, we could of easily parked and saved ourselves some walking. All good adds to the steps. ️
We new were it was because it was right at were we thought it would be. But m sisters were looking all over it and I was just standing there and then I found it. It was so funny I couldn’t believe my eyes . I couldent wait to tell the story again at the dinner table. P.S- they were saying grab a sticker grab a stick ( HA HA HA ) and their it was ( HA HA HA ) still makes me (well you know ).
Found with Jac-Jam while staying a couple of days Katherine. This was a quick early morning find. TFTC.
