Oh Dear, I had forgotten that this cache had needed some attention, and I was down near there just a fortnight ago. Will get there within the week and check it out, and replace as necessary. SORRY.

Where I thought it was. Was full of water. Shone my torch down. No cache if that is the right spot. No luck today.
Quick stop over- after reading ahead I didn’t have high hopes, and was met with my expectations. Will mark as needs maintenance.
Previous logs suggest heavy cache damage and 2 DNFs have followed. Cache appears to be missing and broken.
Couldn’t locate caches in one of two obvious locations. Lived on one of the corner houses as a youngster in the 70s and would play ‘statues’ on this rock.
Statues game is where you climb on the rock and when a vehicle drives past you remain still in a statue pose
Mum has photos tucked away some where

Found during a quick romp through Foster, on the way up to Comboyne. Quickly got to GZ and it didn’t take too much effort to retrieve the cache, although the bottom of the container is pretty much gone and the cache desperately needs a check. Found with Foreignnebula and Cheese_Pizza13!
Needs maintenance as the bottom of the container is missing. Was an interesting cache hide, especially with highway police patrol hanging around lol.
Find No: 8460. Visiting from Newcastle with shaneo58, stayed at Forster overnight, spent too much time and effort in the wrong hole, thanks for the cache Grahame Cookie!!
Found it with Grub Fred. Nice hide. Cache is starting to deteriorate. May need some attention. TFTC Grahame Cookie.
A quick trip into town and we stopped off at this one. A quick find. TFTC Grahame Cookie
We missed out her in February 2020. In the area again to visit a friend at Nabiac and thought we’d try again. Theo’s time the bottomless container was in sight and we found a local TOTT to assist with extraction. We did a mental Macarena for turning this blue frown upside down! SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
#5946.
We took a leisurely walk to this cache on a beautiful afternoon. The cache was quickly spotted and easily retrieved with a stick. TFTC!

Great cache. We didn't have a tool with us but used the local fauna. Plenty about.
Took a bit to get out but perseverance won the day. Log was full and end of container was broken. Added a new log and returned to hide. Tftc
Sadly couldn’t get the log out. Need to get a better toolkit for future adventures!
Was looking forward to doing the BIG MACarina but despite multiple TOTT and we think the correct spot, no luck.
Got a magnum wrapper and some tissue paper but no cache.Very disappointing.
Thanks anyway Grahame Cookie

Out and about for a lovely days exploring the day, in perfect weather. Stopped off to make a quick find here at GZ, while hubby was enjoying an early body board.
Thanks Grahame Cookie for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

After finding cache and seeing hint TOTT I thought I had better go buy what I thought I needed. After returning it didn’t work. I read other logs and saw I needed something different. After searching the car we found something suitable and the cache was obtained. TFTC
Quick find by Wifey, she doesn't find many!
Its a busy spot here, don't think we were seen by muggles, But local big sounding Dogs knew we were here!
Thanks for maintaining the cache

With COVID limiting our holiday destinations to our own state, we opted for a weeks holiday at beautiful Forster in the caravan. With a few days spent exploring the area I was able to grab a handful of finds with the mini Rats over the week.
With Maccas just over the road this was a must-do stop for the kids and me. Managed to get the cache with my own special tool.
Thanks

I found what was left of this cache back in Sept 20 when I was on holidays. Today I found again and signed log.
Late afternoon and left wife in the pool, while I went to grab a few caches in Forster. Parked nearby and walked to GZ. Did my search and had an inkling where I thought it might be. Then the hint told me more. I tried my TOTT and then tried in another spot. With a 2nd TOTT I saw the cache and was able to get it. SL and replaced. No maccas for me tonight. Will try some better food. TFTC.
Logs suggest that there was a cache here nine months ago, in January 2020, but no one has found an intact container with log since then - the only finds have been either parts of the supposed container, or just finding the monument itself.
Sort of found it on the first day of my stay in Forster. I found the lower half of a damaged bison tube, no log. See picture.
Found with My Dad (DJANT) and my Brothers (dart16 & Jedi Anakin) I have my own account now and am trying to catch up to the boys Thanks for the cache.
Uses ToTT to try find this one but in both spots no cache was found. Wonder if it’s been muggled or disappeared deep beyond.
Out and about on my own today. Came to the monument got material out and fit it in. Hope it has not been put in back to front. Interesting greetings from Melbourne
No luck for us in finding this cache today although we had a determined poke in the holes. But we did have some other luck... a swim with the Forster Turtles (very rough seas so we just caught some waves on the edge), a very nice breakfast at the Surf Club, a fun catch-up with local friends in the Main Street and a nice drive out to Pacific Palms. And although we welcomed the rain, it didn’t start really teeming down til we were back at our friend’s house at Nabiac where we were visiting from Sydney for the weekend. Will check this next time we visit. Cheers... Gaztek
Out for an early morning cache on transit back to brisbane from Melbourne
I've never stayed in Forster before, lovely spot. Def will again.

After a long drive up to Gosford we spend our night in a neraby caravan park. I needed to take some steps after sitting the whole day so i walked some meters to this monument. Unfortunately I only have read the special requirements needed to grab this one some meters before my arrival at ground zero. Luckily I found a helpful tool nearby to get to the logbook.

Having arrived in Forster this was our seventh and last cache to search for. We soon located the cache then set about extracting it - it was a little bit fiddly but with a bit of patience and persistence we were able to retrieve it. We signed log book (last signature was June 2019) and then replaced as found just a bit less deep in. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Found it but it has been shoved way in where I couldn't get my TOTT onto it! TFTH
Thanks for cache phone wasn’t working last time and forgot to log on phone was with Loney RA at time thanks
I found it and could see it but nothing I tried could get it out. Its really well jammed in but I will still count this as a find
Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be, but just a clip lock bag with a small slip of paper and a whole lot of wet mulch in it.
Needs a bit of TLC
Ironbark.

Pretty obvious find, but log etc really needs replacing, all soggy, left a new slip of paper.
Found with sosillyadventures2 but couldn’t sign the log as it was just a ball of mush and didn’t have any spare paper. TFTC
Nice sneaky little hide wondered what TOTT stood for now we know! TFTC JenneG and Budgy from Nth Nowra
Targeted this cache for it's TD rating in aim to compleate the 3x3x3 challenge. We are on holidays in foster and it's raining, so what better to-do than go geocaching

Found with the kids on a walk around town, met up with some fellow catchers. TfTC
Stopped by here in the way to the beach. Foubd the container quickly and manged to extract it. Then spent a couple of minutes trying to open the wrong end. Eventually flipped it over and opened it only to discover there is no log book. Left a piece of paper with my name. TFTC
Morning running and caching in great city of Forster. TFTC and greeting from Finland!
