On a bit of a road trip (close to 2000km by the time we get home) grabbing some LGAs and adding to my smileys tho only finding a few in each major town other wise we will never get home as we only have 3.5 days
Our plan is just to drive and stopover at the nearest town to where we are when it starts getting dark. But we have on our list Katanning, Nyabing, Gnowangerup, Borden, Jerramungup, Ravensthorpe, Esperance, Grass Patch, Salmon Gums, Dundas area, Kambalda, Kalgoorlie, Coolgardie, Southern Cross, Westonia, Merredin, Kellerberin, Tammin, Cunderdin and finish off caching in Meckering
Checked in late to the Merredin caravan park last night which was all good except no power and our cabin was like a dry sauna which also wasn't good as we needed things to go in the fridge
After a while we went for a drive and the roadhouse at the west end of town was open, boy that ice cream tasted so nice and cool
Got back to park and the power pole near us was getting so legal attention and the power was back on. Time to crank up the aircon
Grabbed a couple of caches this morning in Merredin before leaving town and heading west. We are on our homeward journey which always saddens me
Thankfully an easy find as the wind is blowing so hot this morning. It's worse than being in 40 degree temp with no wind
Not sure if any rellies here, been a bit slack and didn't check family tree before leaving home. Not to worry as I'm sure we will be passing through town again one day

With the cache numbers reset now for 2017, the plan was to hit the new tear running (or caching).
Teamed up with Granett for a day long roadtrip through the wheatbelt. On the target list, a pile of LGAs to cross off, some Jasmers, some archived caches and a generally fun day out.
We left Perth at 6, heading for Merredin, then down to Narambeen, Bruce Rock, Quairading and then back home. A long drive in the heat, but cachers do crazy things, right?
Parked under the shade and wandered to GZ. I made the find this time.

A big day out with SVKR_WA today picking up a few LGA's (counties) which seems to be the norm for some people these days. After a 740k round trip we ended up with 9 new LGA's, 19 finds and a couple of Jasmers.
A quick find by SVKR_WA once at GZ to knock off our Kellerberrin LGA.
WanderingAus I found your cache at 9:28am, this was the 5th of 19 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3713. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

I thought mint tins were supposed to be my speciality but I can't get a look in while the wife is on such tremendous form. Just wait until we get some rough ground, that'll slow her down. TFTC
Well, another weekend and it is time once again to head away to gather some more counties for a challenge that I am close to competing . I targeted caches in 7 different LGA counties which should get my total to over 90 . I was able to grab a bunch of archived caches as well which is always a bit of a buzz for me! Completing this challenge has also given me a great opportunity to see more of this wonderfully diverse state [^]. I had a fantastic time caching around here and a massive thanks to the CO's for the effort in placing the caches!

Heading out to Kalgoorlie today, so I decided to stop for a couple of caches along the way to fill in some of LGAs. This was one.
Flies were shocking here today thanks for a quick find.
I can't wait to catch up with everyone again at
[WA GOES BIG 2017](https://coord.info/GC6TD11) in Rockingham, WA.

Time to visit the deceased again
What caching day would be complete without a graveside visit ??
And here at the Kellerberrin berrial site,
I took a short stroll through the stones to reach GZ
Cache found,
I could sleep easy again [^]

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks WanderingAus (F=2999 H=185) for placing this cache.

Found by Mary & David at 0955. M is delighted - another cemetery, and of course another FP. Larger, and quite different to the previous ones. More graves with photos, the same cans of alcohol, simple headstones, and even those tell a story - the open book, or the scroll where your deeds are judged and. of course, the lambs for small children. Our thanks to WanderingAus.
Easy find. Couple of Queenslanders travelling around Oz with geodog. 41c today and dry as a dead dingoes donger! TFTC

A good reason to break the journey to Perth. The denominational segregation is really quite amazing.
Quick find, great job of camouflage WanAus. GPS was right on the button. TNLNSL TFTC
Found in a few minutes. Always love to read the old headstones. You learn a lot about the history of a town here. Thank you for the cache. There were very pretty wildflowers around too.
Laid a good man to rest today in this cemetery. Being the sort of bloke he was he would have probably encourage us to go and search for it during the service but we come back a few hours later before we left town for home. RIP Brian, this ones for you. Found with Leega & Folssee. TFTC WanderingAus. Cool camo.
Looks like a new gazebo is being constructed near cache but hiding spot is still intact. TFTC
Day 1 of our Whyalla trip.
The day started good, we got up early and left the house by 1.30am. We were at the first cache by 2.5oam just outside of northam. everything was great until we got 20 kms out of merriden then the car broke down. We waited half an hour for the tow truck who towed us back into town and it was lucky the mechanic had us back on the road in a couple of hours. As we had to be at the border that night we didn't get all the caches done that we hoped to find. we still managed to find 23 and all of those were found quite quickly TFTC WanderingAus

Spent the day caching in the Bruce Rock Shackelton area and this was one of our finds. TFTC
Day 12 of our Oz Mega 2014 trip. Awoke this morning refreshed after a good sleep, disturbed only by the dingos calling to each other off and on throughout the night. Have another big day ahead of us with many kilometres to cover and a quite a few caches to find along the way.
Eerie feeling wandering around cemeteries at night. Found the cache ok though. Thanks WanderingAus

1st geocache with my Estonian friend. *1.01.2024 - Time to start my own account. Cool! Geocaching partner logging all the geocaches since we started geocache together in 22.12.2013.*
If you trying to find it from photo its hard - follow the coordinates and you will find green container.
Greetings from Estonian girl!

Took abit of search but found itOk. Nie camo treatment. As i hadn't found a mint tin cache before I wasn't sure how to open. After slightly damaging the hinge I realised how to do it. Although damaged it closed Ok and should be Ok to open again. SL TFTC.
After not finding this one yesterday we returned today and with the CO's permission replaced the cache with a camo mint tin

no luck with this one today, a muggle worker was spraying weeds and watching every move we made, so we just acted interested and looked at the graves. thanks for placing a cache here
No luck with this one and even though its winter, the flies and mozzies were really tough and ferocious!
My 464th cache.
Thank you for showing me that nice spot.

Don't usually do cemetary caches unless a historical one, but there aren't many caches in the area.....

Our mission today was to rescue some Geocaching.com.au moveables that had been stranded out in the Wheatbelt for the last month.
Managed to fit in some traditionals as we made our way around.
40 degrees out here so no camping for us fraidy cats. Will be overnight in a local pub who know's where?
Thankfully a quick find here as it's after 6pm and we need to get accommodation in the local pub.
Cache in good order.

Found it together with Swismiss10. I was surprised there was sitting there openly without anything hiding it. So we put some bark over it. Still very easy to find but a bit more muggle-proof.
TFTC. Found on a caching trip with Cravo10 from Perth to Kalgoorlie, Esperance and everywhere else along the way.
Out on a geocaching getaway with barnzy12. From Perth to Kalgoorlie to Esperance back to Perth in 3 days. Tftc.
WanderingAus wandered by on the way to the annual Back To The Bush Veterans Reunion at Bush Rock, and swung by to check on my cache. All good.
Talk about a view to die for! Thanks for bringing us here. Never bothered stopping in Kellerberrin before, although passing through numerous times. Gorgeous rolling hills out the back here. Had Speedy and Slugzilla along with us on a trip to Perth.
Found it with Geocacher "MoreThanHidden". We need more country cachers and caches. We've found those introduced to Geocaching are usually enthusiastic so they need caches to find. When we have a device that can give us precise co-ordinates we would love to place some. Brian and Rona.
Further along my trip east and made an easy find.
Thanks WanderingAus for the cache.

After spending some time at the lookout we stopped in on our way back for this cache. Found quickly in good order. SL and left quietly so as not to disturb the residents. Thanks for the cache.
[:(!] Did a sunday drive of caching, arrived at GZ with geowife and geogranddaughter (part of the Owers Corner tribe), lead GGD to where I thought it was and letting her to discover it, had this in hand in a matter of minutes, she was so excited TNLNSL TFTC
WanderingAus wandered by, taking a slightly roundabout way to get home from Bruce Rock after the annual Back To The Bush Veterans Reunion, and doing some cache maintenance and cache hunting on the way.
This one was in good shape, except that the pencil was getting a bit short, so I sharpened it and popped in another pencil, as there isn't room for a pencil sharpener in the cache.
While I was there I visited a bunch of travellers just to give them some air.
The cache has survived another winter and should be good to go for another couple of years at least.
Happy caching,
Keith

Last cache for the day and an interesting one for me as Kellerberrin is where I was born and several of my relatives were laid to rest. SL TFTC
We stopped here for a cache a couple of years ago. this one was a bit further out of town than I expected.
