Sadly archiving this one today. It’s been here since the 1st November, 2009, but today I saw a brand new gate and fence across the start of the road and a large sign saying ‘Authorized Vehicles Only’. Not sure why. It’s always been an open road with bush walking trails at the end of it.
A quick find while chatting on the phone on speaker with my daughter in Kiama NSW.

GPS kept pointing up towards the hill, but we knew it had to be easier, cache was soon in hand
Great place for a cache, thank you ....
The log is damp so I put in the only bag I had in the car (see picture) ....

Couldn’t just leave this one behind. Made a quick park and grab before heading upwards.
Heading down the road to meet a real estate agent for an inspection of a 'rustic weekender' just down the track. Already running late, another few minutes to collect this one wasn't going be a great issue. Managed to park within 5m and the cache was quickly found. Thanks for the brief rest stop relief Aussie Liahona.
We were driving up this dirt road to begin our walk for a couple of target caches we were after. Thankfully Mr 4ando was on the ball today as the girls weren’t and all of a sudden he pulls up and goes there’s another one here. Mrs SP remembers she already has this one and is pretty sure it’s up there. Mrs 4ando grabs a sturdy looking tree to grab and pull up and starts fossicking the area until Mr 4ando yells out, ‘I’ve got it,’ from the safety of the path.

Tuesday. Out today with Orange Crew to find some target caches further up the road. A nice quickish find here for us today before we met up with E:). Both log and cache in good order here. I love these sorts of places for the cache containers.
This was the 3rd of 10 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Aussie Liahona***, for showing us this place.

A quick find with Slow Puncture on the way to a morning bushwalk. All good here.

Morning Drive out to Natural Bridge, picking up as many caches along the way. Tftc. lovely way to spend a beautiful day.
While staying in Surfers Paradise with our caravan in order to visit with our niece and her family while they are holidaying on the Gold Coast from Adelaide we still found time to do this caches. A nice hide in a very scenic area. Thankyou Aussie Liahona for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Grabbing a few smilies with granddaughter Immyky on the way to Natural Bridge.
While the compass lead me astray & had me climbing a mountain Mrs. VC did the deed at GZ then called out 'found it!' while Immyky took a Snapchat of my less than athletic prowess.
Gotta love 'em!

Out caching our way down to Natural Bridge with Vegan Cachers (VC), my grandparents.
Poppy thinks he may have forgotten to add my name on 1 or 2 of the 11 caches we did today but please don't punish me (by deleting my log) if this is one of them.
It' not my fault he's getting old & forgetful but still wants to be in charge.
(I love him to bits, my Mamma too!)
Nice easy finds today which meant the trip down to Natural Bridge wasn't too long.
Sorry if the logs are the same but I hate logging (forgive me I'm only 11).
Thanks for the cache!

Whilst Gwen from The X-Trailers walked in front and past the cache I made for a quick find. Cache in good condition. TFTC
A bit of a wining dirt track to negotiate to GZ
I walked passed the cache and Earthlight spotted it
Geo hubby drove the car a little further up the road to turn around
Much better if he had turned around where we got out the car
Cache ok

The dirt road was a bit slippery and hairy to negotiate in my 2WD car but we got there. My phone was then quite insistent I had to head up the hill, which I didn't believe in light of the T rating, but after heading up and fooling around, I switched on my eyes and brain and realised where I should probably be. After that, the cache was easily found, and apparently was found yesterday by some old buddies from the Brisbane bayside too.
Turning the car around was a little tricky, but again, I made it without damage.
TFTC which turned out to be just a little trickier than I expected.

First I would like to Apologies for the length of time it has taken for me to complete my logs.
I was in the area supervising a Scout hike from Apple Tree Park and was on the southside waiting for the Patrol. What better way to kill some time then to grab a cache or two. This was the Second Cache for the Day. Our Next check point for us to wait for the patrol to check-in was at the end of Chesters Rd, so found a perfect little area to pull off almost like it was made for stopping for this cache. It was a quick find and onwards to our check point.

Find #2328
I was out doing a training walk with one of my Kokoda Challenge team mates and conversation turned to geocaching. I told him all about it and he seemed genuinely interested so, when I saw that we were going to walk straight past this one, I decided to stop and make a find to show him what it's all about.
A quick find and we continued our walk. He is now going to look into it as he is planning on climbing Mt Barney with his son soon.

Out and about in this beautiful picturesque part of the Gold Coast with geo friends picking up a few caches along the way. This was my first visit to the area even though I have lived on the Northern end for over 25 years, I had never ventured down this way before. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the nice easy hide
Found this on our way back from the Natural Bridge, making our first day of geocaching very enjoyable. Thanks
I woodn't have found it if it was for turning back to the car. Great way to spend mother's day

Nice side trip into the forest and a quick find. Gave geo-daughter some driving practise on dirt road. TFTC
Headed out to Tambourine Mountains and stopped for this cache along the way. Did with Mycro Man. T4TC
Out for a nice drive today in the country with the Geo Wife grabbing some smiles as we go (as you do lol). Beautiful area out here, untouched paradise. Thank you for bringing us here. Tftc
Geo man (David 779) in fact didn't get out of the car. I handed it to him through car window to sign the log. How lazy of him! TFTC
Wow awesome driveby... Possible could have leaned out the car window to get it if geodad parked close enough. TFTC with 3veevees
Our GPS was a bit confused for a while but it finally got it together and we found the cache easily.
A short detour from the main road and we arrived at GZ. My, that's a big one! Find made quickly. TFTC.
Day off from work today. IolantheK and I went down through the Numinbah Valley over the border into NSW to Murwillumbah [^]
This was the first of a number of caches IolantheK needed to get her numbers right for her mile stone 4000 at 'Cloud Catcher', Mt Warning
Nice easy find [^]
The cache is dry and in good condition [^]

T-Tech and I are heading to Murwillumbah for a milestone-smashing adventure at Mt Warning this weekend. I needed 17 more finds to get my numbers right, and as T-Tech wanted to travel down through the Numinbah Valley, I had no trouble getting enough done [^]
A very quick find here TFTC, Aussie Liahona.

Gsg72 replaced with some less obvious camo than was there. Easter Saturday drive. tftc
We were heading down to Sydney for our church conference and had been told that the Motorway was a parking lot and it was taking forever to get to the border so we decided we would head inland and clean out some more in this area.
It was great to be travelling through this gorgeous area, and avoiding the constant stream of brake lights as well.
We checked out the bottom of the track and thought we should be able to do it in the car easy enough (and easier than walking)
GZ was very obvious and we avoided close contact with it.
The cache was safe in its hidey hole.
Thanks AL TFTC SL TSLS

Checked on this cache today and discovered an unlisted TB that I took to move along as it appears to have been here quite a while.
Cache is in fine condition, so come find it.

Decided to go on a days driving down to the NSW border and then in a loop back up to the Gold Coast. Didn't start particularly early, but early enough to complete the run. There were some caches bypassed for time, but the ones we did, I thought were a collection of good and fun caches for the day. In total, we found just over 30, including an Earth Cache, for my 50th Earth Cache find. Aussie Liahona caches featured heavily during the run, which was great, as they are always entertaining. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

A nice easy drive by as we continuted our travels for the day. TFTC.

The next stop on a day of caching. Yeah I don't think you would want to run into that in a hurry. Found the cache begging to be signed so I added my name.
Thanks Aussie Liahona, now how do I turn around here.

After a great climb up Pages Pinnacle this morning, I took a drive through to the border gates, collecting the odd cache here and there if the cache took my fancy.
This seemed like an interesting dirt road, so I sent the car eastwards for an easy find in the obvious spot.

While MrG continued further on Eastward Ho! looking for a turn around spot, I signed the log. Very peaceful spot . . . when you're been left! TFTC Aussie Liahona.
The light was starting to dim, but I still was wanting to grab just a few more. So I headed up this little side track for this one with a hope that I would be able to turn around. Gladly just near the pull over for this cache was just enough room to turn around with a 4 point turn and after signing the log was back my way.

Stopped by here today while doing a maintenance run. We updated the swag and made sure it was clean and dry. All's good.

Gotcha !!! Note; there is more room to turn around a bit past GZ at the NP gates. TFTC
Drove past, turned around and could see it from car, so a quick find. SL, TFTC.
Decided to park at the main road and walk to this one as we weren't sure what the road was like for a 2wd, bit of a breather after the incline to GZ, quick find. Thanks
A nice little detour off the main road led us to this cache. A very good hint made this a nice easy cache

Took this little detour on our way to the natural Bridge. Enjoyed the shady track and found the cache nice and safe but getting a bit low on swag. Topped it up with some of our spares so its as full as all the other Aussie Liahona caches we found today! TFTC!
Found with stairman1 and geodog. Nice easy find. Such a nice area. The whip birds were singing as we were signing the log. Thanks AL.
